Somebody's son will now marry a left over and an over used commodity

Am sorry life happened to her that way but her chances of finding a high value man is around 20%

Ups and downs of life

Women always want to marry someone at their level or above their level

What stopped her from picking a Nigerian man when she visited and marrying him. A man would have come down to pick a wife.so many Nigerian men would have given a limb to marry u.am not saying it will always turn out good, but the Nigerian man would have worshipped u for uplifting him in the time being.

According to kelvin Samuels,u may die alone
If you knew the bold, why request she go to Nigeria to pick a man to marry? huh Most of the men she grew up/studied with in Nigeria go don marry as those are the men she can trust if she decides to marry a man and move over to the UK. But a random man living in Tinubu's current Nigeria? It is a risky venture.

The difference is that those women just want to fee how the penis of a black man is. Most will not want to marry you. That is the difference. Most importantly, women of all races desire relationships/companionship more than sexual intercourse. It is why they are demisexual. So having sex with different white girls does not mean you are into a long term relationship this woman desires.

Black men are also affected. There is no country outside a black dominated region where black men are prized or the top of the dating chain, except for the famed black preek. Most will want to taste or feel how a black man's preek is. They will not marry you. So stop thinking black men are prized. That said, humans are tribal and will always prefer those who look/think like them.

Loneliness will kill all Nigerian girls in Canada , Uk and US

Insha allah

I remember when I first got to UK, no Nigerian girl looked at my face because I was a student. They didn’t give a shittt about me. The female friends I had weren’t Nigerians, not a single one. They were chasing guys already settled and those ones using them to play wayo

I moved to the US and same thing happened, when I finally finished school and became settled, they came like flies everywhere.

Girls should learn one thing, that single guy that you see still trying to get life settled, working hard to make progress will eventually become successful.
The guys in their 40s that you are clinging to went through same phase. Unfortunately many of them aren’t available anymore. They have been taken.
If you want to make it work, find a responsible guy that truly care about you and work together with him to make progress. Work together as a family, not every time you will meet ready made products
This is a mistake most make. I understand hypergamy is an issue, but consider that for a young man to leave Nigeria, get admitted into a good university on his merit aka legal migration, get some form of scholarship, study a relevant course, try as much as possible to learn the language etc. It means he has good heads over his shoulders. Such a person is responsible to a great extent and quite ambitious. It is not like he got there illegally or was caught for nefarious purposes. But hypergamy and fear of the unknown no go gree. Beecause truth is; these young men notice these things and decides to mix up with other nationals esp if there is a significant black population.

The situation is quite different if the lady has permanent residence or is older than the guy.

RomanceRe: Know What You Want; Men Are Time Wasters by Gerrard59(m): 7:01am On Jul 19, 2023
I agree with OP that dating for too long is quite ridiculous. However, I consider six months too short, except if s/he is someone you have known for a long time. Say a secondary school/university school mate you both grew/worked with within the same region and see occasionally. It is why being platonic friends is the best way to begin with it, as this means you get to know each other from a neutral point of view. Starting off with a stranger and giving yourself a timeline of six months is quite risky.

Mine is a one-year minimum and a maximum of two years. Honestly, anything above that is a waste of time. You are better off being married for three years and having no children than just dating for the same period of time. To those who ask must it end in marriage? This is Nigeria, nay sub-Saharan Africa. We are conservative. Na social media dey make people think say we are liberal. Marriage brings stability, and women naturally lose in situations with less stability. Also, women have a biological clock. I cannot date a woman for three years without expressing my intentions within the first six months. I am better off as a bachelor within that period if dating her would not result in marriage.

I also disagree with you about the lack of exclusivity. It shows disloyalty and dishonesty. Let's say you want marriage within six months, fair game. But stick to the rules of fidelity and be honest. If he breaks the rule by cheating or not marrying you, at least you were honest. You are better off not marrying a dishonest person. That said, individuals should assess whether the problem comes from them rather than perpetually laying the blame on others. No one is perfect, agreed. But give room for improvement.

Another one is in tech despite having a non tech background.. There are opportunities if you refuse to take them or position yourself. Thats on you.
He will keep complaining. However, it is not everywhere in Europe that people should target if they want career advancement. In the age of diversity and inclusion, blacks have a greater chance of getting good jobs. The major difference between second-generation black immigrants and recent immigrants is their mentality. The latter come with a "we die here" and "it is a do or die affair" mentality. That is why they tend to outbid/outcompete the second generation in those countries.

AllKnowing, Rather than say avoid countries with too many Nigerians, I say avoid countries with a lax immigration system that takes any Tom, Dick and Harry. When analysing immigrants' successes, always look at the path of migration. Someone who migrated via an illegal route and took many years to settle will have a different path from someone who entered via work visa with superior skills.

Lastly, as a black African, if you want a place where you will make plenty of money and succeed professionally without hindrance or a glass ceiling, head to the US. The existing black population and the size of the economy make it the best place to thrive as a black person.

It is a Lagos thing. The mistake is you are judging the entire Nigeria using Lagos lenses. People in Kogi, Cross River and Adamawa don't know what this show means and should not be judged by the characters here.

That said, you mention character, how would someone's character be judged by merely looking at the person? huh Also, most Nigerians don't find their spouses in this manner. Lagos-based folks are more Westernised than the rest of Nigerians. This is a copy and paste from African American programs, nothing else.

Nigeria is not Lagos and vice-versa. There is more to Nigeria than Lagos.

You think this is how spouses are chosen in Benue, Kano, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, and Kwara? grin grin grin

I know one first class hookup agent wey be say u must pay her girls 4 - 500k for one weekend fun, some even pay for their tickets and take them to different countries despite the pay (they call it "escort" ). A night goes for 200k or a bit more.

No kidding. Some rich wealthy dudes lavish money on such. I did not believe things like this actually happen too untill I get first class receipts. Reason I hardly doubt when rumour comes out that some of these guys are gay, cos gays, lesbians and bisexuals get more pay.

Where do u think someone like Bobrisky get his/her money?

I hope the men who criticise these ladies note that it is MEN like them who fund this act. If no man offers 300K - 500K for a weekend, these girls will find something else to do.

The earlier young men focus on themselves rather than forming CCTV for woman vagina, the better.

I got appointment today for category B I cancelled it immediately . I booked March 2022, I am in Canada now. If I had waited for germany I wouldn’t be in canada. My canada process took just 5months but I will choose Germany over Canada with my experience here in Canada .The cost of living here in canada is too high. Tuition is very high and my monthly earnings over 75percent goes to bills. My tuition cost 36500 dollars , If I have gone to Germany I won’t pay tuition and the cost of living will be low and I will earn same amount I earn here in canada or even more in Germany and will be able to save more money. Canada is tough and difficult to plan. Germany is a very good country and I wonder why those in Germany saying they still want to come to canada .Canada doesn’t have enough jobs and the little Jobs available here are very competitive even menial jobs . Germany has a lot of factories and manufacturing plants and more jobs than Canada. Most people won’t know what is going on here In canada until they come in. Asides language barrier I advice anyone in Germany to stay back in Germany.
Well, you really can't blame them. Maybe they are looking into the future, future career progression etc. I can understand their POV. My advice to such people: learn the language, work in Germany, get the German experience and apply for L1 visa to the US. North America and to an extent the UK are the best places for a black African to thrive professionally. Except they go into business, but the majority of folks globally are employees.

UK no good, UK no good. Come here and see how professionals are balling.
I never stated that the UK is not good. I agreed to the rest of the points you listed in the quoted post.

U can make over 100k in IT related fields in the UK, the perks are crazy...personal car, traveling around Europe.
Tell me, why should an AI expert go to Japan to make 5000 dollars a month when he can easily make 1000 pounds a day here in UK. This is not dem say, this was offered to my church female member.
Obviously, salaries are higher in the UK and certain parts of Europe like Switzerland. Japan, when compared to other developed countries, has low salaries but with a lower cost of living. She makes up in livability and safety. Your church colleague is likely an expert or PhD holder. The guy I mentioned is just a master's graduate. So apples to oranges. My issue is about where you stated both Japan and Singapore don't like African migrants (skilled as no one likes unskilled migrants). My stance is: it is not true. Your church colleague will earn a minimum of S$150K - S$180K should she migrate to Singapore and not less than Y10M per annum should she move to Japan. The reason I differentiated the purpose an African should have when migrating to either country.

We not talking about IT or highly skilled professionals, we just talking about semi skilled guy who wants to Japa.
Opportunities abound for such people in Japan, provided they learn the language, study relevant courses and abide by the country's rules. Singapore is a no for such people. I am not saying your entire post is a lie, but some aspects have to be corrected.

UK is the easiest western country to migrate. That's the truth nd simple answer. U can enter UK with less than 5 million packaging. Admission into uk schools no get wahal at all.
UK is a case of at all at all, na him bad pass.

To attempt Canada relocation, u must have nothing less than 20 million in real cash in your account. The express entry score alone na die.

For Australia, the screening process is tedious and student visa application not too straightforward. Rejection rate is very high.

The only way to enter USA now is student visa. First u write SAT, GRE or GMAT, then get school admission which ain't easy. Finally u go and play Russian roulette at the American embassy. U need to see how people are bounced during visa interview. Everybody in the hall will know u've been rejected.
Don't even bother with USA visiting visa, the way dem go bounce u for embassy..shame sef go catch u.

Most European countries have language barriers, without learning the language u can't get good jobs and build a successful career. Most Nigerians in Europe eventually end up relocating to UK due to this issue of language barrier.

China and Russia is out of it. People travel so that they can send money home. Wages in those countries are nothing to write home about. Wetin u wan do with 300 dollars per month. U may live a good live in the countries but nothing else.

Pls don't advise Nigerians to travel to Japan or Singapore. They are not immigrant friendly towards Africans. U will end up wasting years stuck in a place without anything to show for it.

Arab gulf countries are actually a good option for professionals and career people. I'm surprised u didn't mention it.
Honestly, I would not have done this, but I have correct some misconceptions about the bold.

Japan: Easy to migrate to as a student. Way easier to become a naturalised citizen than any Western nation except Germany (due to recent changes(. Take it from me, I have read the laws in both English and Japanese. Also, in terms of jobs, it is better off other than medical-related areas. Learning the language is where the issue comes, but once you learn and abide by the rules, there would be no problem. However, I would not recommend it for a single black lady except if she intends to marry a man from her country. The dating opportunities for black women are very low.

Singapore: Don't migrate as a student, but a professional. Salaries are high. In fact, higher than in Japan. I think only Australia comes close across Asia. However, don't ever hope to become a citizen as it is almost impossible for a black person to be a permanent resident let alone naturalised citizen. Permanent residency and citizenship have racial quotas. Blacks have no historical connection to Singapore.

I already explained it here:

Gerrard59:
That is because all Asian countries are not the same. The opportunities for foreigners, regardless of race in say Malaysia aren't the same as opportunities for foreigners in say, Singapore. Yes, the work ethic is most Asian countries, especially those characterised with East Asian culture, can be tedious for non-natives. The koko is that the jobs are available.

Yes, I highly recommend STEM unless one is prepared to learn the language for at least a year before commencing studies if the course is non-STEM like a Gambian did. Even STEM has courses one should not touch, like nursing. I don't think patients will be comfortable with blacks attending them as nurses or psychologists - both of which require native fluency. However, skills will get you the job if the language knowledge is zero. My guy got a job with a salary equivalent of $5K per month because he knows artificial intelligence (his research is AI related). This guy does not know how to speak Japanese. I even speak better Japanese than he does. The interviewers even requested he introduce himself in Japanese, but he politely declined as he did not know how to speak the language. Mind you, before this offer, he had three offers waiting for him.

If I am to recommend Asian countries for Black Africans and courses in terms of employment opportunities, in order of ranking: Japan, Singapore, China and South Korea. The competition in Korea and China for jobs is fiercer, so one has to be very good at the skills and language. Singapore is a peculiar case as there are restrictions for foreigners to be employed there. The government scrutinises the university you graduate from and the quality of work experience as a foreigner seeking employment. Black African candidates would have to showcase their skills for a firm to leave Chinese, Indians, and Westerners to employ them. If you graduate from, say, the National University of Singapore, the chances are higher, but NUS is pricey for foreigners. Tuition fees mimic the equivalent in Harvard and Oxbridge. Scholarships are minimal for non-South East Asian citizens. If not because of the use of English, it should come last in my ranking as it is very tough for black Africans without specialist skills. The surest or easiest way is to be transferred from the European or American office to the Singapore branch. Note: an African American has it easier as getting a job in the US is easier and faster to get a transfer compared to a black African that is still on a working visa vs citizenship status for the African American.

Those countries are the ones with stable economies. The rest are still developing. So, don't mistake Vietnam for South Korea or the Philippines for Japan. I have met a Nigerian who did both BSc and MSc in Computer Science at a Vietnamese University but could not get a job until he got it in Japan. He has been here for seven years and does not know how to speak Japanese. I dare say I speak better Japanese than he does and can read Kanji better than him. But he works in a top tech firm in the country.

So, there you have it.

This your research means engineering remains most highly intelligent and brilliant students at JAMB/WAEC level despite dealing with harder subject combinations even a bit higher than that of medicine; many brilliant (first five/six) students you listed here on yearly basis end up studying engineering and related courses like computer and cyber security. This suggest that engineering should be rebranded and restructured for more practical oriented future similar to how medicine is structured because it handles human beings if Nigeria dosn't want to be loosing her best brains in engineering after graduation.

It also shows that science students remains most brilliant minds at waec/jamb levels than their counterpart at secondary school levels.
Science courses are harder than art/social science disciplines. The most brilliant students are those in STEM. That is a global phenomenon. Societal problems, at least physically are solved using scientific methods, discoveries and inventions. Unfortunately, Nigeria is too fractured for these solutions to be implemented properly. Ethnically heteregnous countries tend to be poor in the long term.

I'm not saying all of the JAMB candidates are into it, but I will also go for a better WAEC than a JAMB, JAMB is just four subject, while WAEC is nine subject, which comprises of both practical, theory and objective...

That is what I want to find answers to. Those who graduated as the best either in their departments or universities, what were their WASSCE grades when juxtaposed with their JAMB scores? Do WASSCE performers keep the consistency to JAMB? Do high JAMB achievers attain excellent grades in WASSCE? Do these high JAMB scorers graduate with a first class? Honestly, most of these highest scorers in Jamb took their exam in special centers. Many of them did not deservedly get those scores. Through the connivance of their parents and teachers, they get mercenaries to write these exams for them and end up getting really high scores. The true high scorers end up in the mid 200's, or much less than the highest scorers. This is why many of the supposed highest JAMB scorers end up as underperformers.
Honestly, this is a very embarrassing take from you. No evidence whatsoever, you just accused them of being cheaters. Rather than ask why do some of them fail when they head to the universities? What were their WASSCE grades even though they had high JAMB scores but a low CGPA? What about others, did they graduate with low CGPAs but had high JAMB scores?

When I took JAMB that year too, I had a friend from school who score around 310. I knew this guy was an average student, so I knew for sure that he took his exam in the special center. The highest scorer that year ended up maybe a few scores above than 310, so he could easily have been the highest scorer in JAMB. Of course, he was an average student and ended up unable to cope in University, eventually dropping out of school.
Just because your friend had 310 and you seem sure he cheated does not mean others cheated as well. How come some of these folks later got into top universities in the US? What were your friend's WASSCE grades? One of the scholars mentioned had a perfect SAT score in Physics. According to your analogy, he cheated too. Did Yinka Cheat as well? Someone who smashed SAT and IELTS? Let's assume she performs poorly in MIT, should we say she cheated in JAMB?

My aim is to check the academic performance over time across different levels of study and make a full judgement rather than using the concocted story of a friend to smear brilliant students from different schools across different parts of Nigeria.

That would be a very narrow study, which I am neither fascinated or interested in. To be fair though, it is OK if they had low scores in English since all applied for STEM courses. Countless are in my class with better or top scores, yet graduands of public schools. The way you guys glorify private school sha, OP, Gerrard.59, is culpable, with some snide remarks on public universities...

Lol... if I tell you how many profs are lecturing me. If I tell how much the global achievement of these folks are. If I tell you how National bodies presidents, like federal Anatomy and Physiology topmost bodies, are some of my lecturers, underlining the degree of national and regional administrative academic leaders I'm open to learning from. If I tell you how high the standards are. If I tell you how private schools try to lure these people, yet they stay, and only do part-time with them.
If I tell you how many of my public schools-schooled friends, with high JAMB scores, are on fully-fledged scholarships overseas, including Harvard and Oxford - just check out Adebisi Yusuff https://www.nairaland.com/6401080/meet-adebisi-yusuff-adebayo-graduate (UI, Now Oxford, 2022), Animashaun (Unilorin, Now Harvard, 2023), Basicity, Teslim, and so on, and so forth. Check the heads of most public and private enterprises...

You guys feed too much on publicity and media puddings and make the conclusion public schools are spiraling down, looool... comedians...
On the contrary, I went to a public university. Heck, it was a state university. However, I kept an open mind regarding the progress of private universities and how they churned out first class graduates. I did not say a first class from CU is akin to a 2.1 from UNILAG. That is where I have the problem with those people. Just because CU convokes more first class graduates than UI does not mean she has poor quality. Besides, the increase has more to do with percentages rather than actual figures. Simply because private universities have fewer students than their public counterparts.

Kudos to those fellows. When the money plenty, I will dig into their profiles to answer my questions.

Without prejudice to the rest of your post…

It’s only because they are Americans domiciled in America…
Looking at specific economic demographics, AAs are some of the WORST earners (even behind several immigrant communities).

Of course racism and its legacy (including systemic and institutional racism) remains a key factor…
Nonetheless, while 2018 average Nigerian household wealth in the US is $68K, African-American household wealth was $24K!

PS: Average white household wealth in the US (2019) was $188K.

Globally, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest number of poor people. Sub-Saharan Africa is home to the majority of black people in the world. Thus, blacks in sub-Saharan Africa constitute the highest number of poor blacks. When compared with Brazil which has the highest number of people with Japanese ancestry outside Japan, we can see that Japan has the richest set of people with Japanese ancestry. AAs are the richest set of blacks globally. I am comparing blacks to blacks across regions, not blacks to other races.

The average Nigerian household is a poor comparison because there are fewer Nigerians in the US than the native black population. Funny how Nigerians are richer than AAs in the US meanwhile, Nigeria has the most poor people in the world.
