Jobs/Vacancies › Re: What Its Mean To Acquire Higher Degree Time Wasting Or What? by ghettochild(m): 1:16pm On Apr 29, 2021
Teejeybaba:
My mind full of depression, anytime i remembered what students passed through before you can get any certificate in my dear country Nigeria. After all this struggle, someone will still find it difficult to get a job. Some will still go ahead for their masters or Phd at the end you still find yourself without job. My thoughts now was, should the less privileged person just go for ND and also acquire skill work?.
Yes in the Nigeria of today . Its a pure waste of time. But ourside of naija.. its a good deal

Foreign Affairs › Re: Idris Deby: Why A Leader Should Not Be At The Front Line by ghettochild(m): 4:43pm On Apr 21, 2021
Biodun556:
When a leader is known to be at front line of the battle, members of the opposition (or rebels) will deliberately cause problems that will escalate knowing fully well that he will be at the fore front. If they recruite 20,000 fighters; 10,000 will be assigned to face his army and other 10,000 fighters will be assigned to him alone to monitor every of his step and then terminate him.

It is a suicide mission for a president to be at the front line and a bonus for the rebels.

Everybody loves power. Immediate family members or close associate could easily plot agains a leader like Idris Deby because he is highly vulnerable.

Idris Deby first led a battle against bokoharam he succeeded. The last one was against the rebels who knew he will repeat what he did against bokoharam and plot for him.

Lastlook:
Long Story....

Last week Monday, around 3AM in the morning, its was an emergency situation for me. I had to put on the gen, called a friend in the other room to bring in his system for me to use. I was running a server debug on my own system and repatching some program on his own, connected one of the system to 60-Inch LG TV for better viewing.

After an hour, when i was still on it, someone was knocking on my door, it's a selfcon, (School Area and I'm not a student) i told the person to come in. It was a lady, imagine around 4AM, she asked, if she could charge her phone. I told her "she is free, she did and she left."(really not looking)

After few minutes(almost done with the server debugging), i heard someone knocking, i told the person to come in. It was a different lady again, she asked, if she could charge her phone.

I told her "she is free" while on it, it was taking her time to leave. I asked if there is any issue with the extension socket, she said no but her charger. (still not looking)

I told her, "you can remove my phone and use the charger." she replied "thanks" Finally, i looked at her, she was uncomfortable. I told her to sit, relax and set the charger, it should work. She did, all was good, she left.

My friend came in and ask if all was good, i told him, almost. I was done around 5AM something with the issues, put off the gen around 7am.

Around 7am, the first lady came, unplug and she left, the second lady came around 8am, i had already unplug the phone and just gave it to her, she said thanks, i replied you are welcome and she left.

On last week tuesday, i saw her coming my way with her friend probably going to school. I immediately looked away. (I'm not the type that like greeting nor dress just to impress or show off... Just normal round neck, nothing special, Mark Zuckerberg life style.)

Opon all the odds, she greeted me, i replied "HI", i moved fast immediately (believe me she is too beautiful, but my brain only work for money this days)

Later in the noon, i was outside with my friend dicussing about Ubuntu 20.04, immediately, i saw her coming back, i looked away just to avoid her greeting, she greeted me again and she asked, if i was going to put on the gen later, i said yes. She gave me her phone to help her and even her passcode, she said, i should call so so number, when the phone is on, so she can come and do some assignment. (after she left, my friend said, you are in trouble already, i said how? He smiled )

I was angry inside but i collect it, she look sincere. Later, i put on the gen but i didnt unlock nor called. She came later for the phone and she asked why didnt i called. I told her "i forgot" she said thanks and she left.

On Wednesday, she came alone, i was alone outside my room. She asked, if all was good, i said yes. She said, she wanted to say thanks. I told her "You are welcome". She sat far but close to my room, she was busy pressing her phone and i was watching her nor said a word. But guys at my end keep greeting her, saying hi, all this... You should be familiar with how male student like to flirt.

She asked me, Do you even cooked? you only have one spoon, one plate and one cup. That almost crack my laughing but i didnt. I replied her, not really.

She asked several question, i asked none, i dont even know her name till now. Anytime she left, people here will be like she is beautiful, i should connect them with her.

TO CUT THE STORY SHORT, now she come to my side everyday even till today, she never ask about my relationship or maybe for money or what i do to earn a living. She always take permission before she enter my room or do something, She is acting like, i am her brother or boyfriend. If am busy, she will be like, do you need help with anything before she leave for studying. She was even trying to help pay for my fuel bill today and went ahead and bought the fuel.

I dont know her plan, what she is trying to gain or do.
If u like her..ask her out.. if u dont...then leave it at the level it is.. once she sees u aint making a move..
She'll also understand it will b d way it is

Kelvin30286063:
The issue has been resolved. Apparently the other officers at the office said he shouldn't have slapped me but they said I shouldn't have called him stupid. And I said he shouldn't have been disrespectful to my father who was standing right there in front of me. A man that has children that are way older than him.
At the end, they called us into an office and everybody apologized to everybody. They told him to take the receipt and confirm it which he did and I got my documents back.

The commander or whatever said he's a difficult person to deal with but he's a nice person sometimes. I told them if you are not careful, this man can make you lose your job if he did the same thing he did to me to an influencial person.

Well, after apologies here and there, I got my vehicle papers back and I'm back to my office.
E dey sweet my belle as u slap him

Dude, I keep agreeing with you that everyone is involved, including SA police, but Nigerians dominate the market. That's what you don't want to admit.

If you've lived in SA like you claim you'd know Minister Naledi Pandor is one of the most honourable and knowledgeable ministers. She even said Nigerians dominate the drug market. And don't say she's bias, coz she's not petty like that. She even went on the BBC's Hardtalk and stuck to her guns.
You still not getting my point.
I know we dominate but why is it when a Nigerian drug dealer is busted. There's a kind achievement attached to it. Your people celebrate but if the reverse is the case. Tongues don't wag

If you flood the market with drugs of course the kids will be tempted to use them, and that's exactly what the Nigerians have done. And I would argue that Nigerians are both suppliers and sellers, but use SA women as mules to transport them in and out of the country (this is well documented).

I agree that our own police and government are to blame for allowing this to persist, but that's the reason why there are attacks on Nigerians and their establishments because communities are cleaning up the areas on their own - they've lost confidence in the legal system.
Bra.. u still avoiding to say the truth bout how drugs get into SA.. plus those illegal labs that have been busted over the years..

Who knows who got these kids on drugs but Nigerians have been in SA since the 90s before these kids were born. And if you live in SA like you claim you do, you'd admit Nigerians dominate the drug market in Johannesburg.

So whether it's peer pressure or not, the suppliers are Nigerian.

Case closed too.
One last thing...
No Nigerian teachers your kids how to use drugs..
Your own people did.
Let me tell u what i have noticed with these kids..
Out of 10 high school kids.. 7 knows how to roll a weed..
This isnt the same for the kids in Nigeria..
Even at my age... i still cant roll a joint.
Why??
My background in school is the reason..
Many a times I'd catch learners smoking in the toilet....
If the fellow South African teachers cant do anything about it then who am i to play hero..

Lol.. Point of correction..
There's is a difference between a seller n a supplier..
Truth be said here on this platform..
Your own people n most of those Arabs in your country are the suppliers..
All Nigerians do is to sell...
And it's true we dominate the market but each time a Nigerian drug dealer is arrested, ya all celebrate it but when your own brothers are caught.. ya all look the other way....
Take it or leave it..
Its just about the hatred...

You're not a bright or ethical teacher, coz if you were you'd know drugs are highly addictive and that preaching won't help. Instead of condemning people who got these kids hooked on drugs to begin with, you sympathizing with the dealers. It's this sort of mentality which leads to Nigerian hate in SA. You put money ahead of social wellbeing.

1) Gamblers are greedy that why will continue stacking with empty pockets hoping to win to at their debts

2) They stack so high, like 1.5k for 3tickets once , they won't be able to pay if the game isn't won

3) The shop is located near a university, some will drop their school files, textbook and other valuables as collateral and will never return for it

4) Most of them do fake transfer

Romance › Re: Did She Bring Me Luck Or Just Coincidence? by ghettochild(m): 11:45am On Apr 11, 2021
creolehunt:
Sometime last year, I met a lady. At the time I met her things were not working for me the way I had expected. In fact, my career had somehow stagnated even though I was in a new job then.

Prior to meeting her, I was seeing someone who I once overheard complaining to a friemd of having sex with someone in her dreams and in that dream, she already has a family with this strange person in that dream. This coupled with other negative feelings i had made me leave the relationship.

Now comes this new girl. Within 2 months of meeting her (5months into the job), my employment was confirmed with a promotion to booth. I must say that this confirmation typically takes 1yr to 18months. 4 months later (totalling 9months on the job), I was promoted again to a mid level managerial position. Again, this typically takes around 3yrs for others. My company cited "exceptional service delivery", but deep down I know it's not just that, I'm that instinctive. Now, I'm not the type of person to easily find favor in people's eyes or the type people just wants to stick out for. But since I met her, even at my workplace, my superiors have taken special interest in me, I just can't do any wrong.

Now, deep down, I know some things have changed. Even mentally, i have become more purposeful as she is a very driven person. I've never mentioned to her about these changes I've noticed in my life.
The thing is that when we talk, albeit jokingly she always say that she came into my life and everything changed, that the day I will try nonsense with her (cheat or breakup), my life will just scatter. Even today she said it that the "spirit" (context is important here) working for her had to smoothen my life when she came into it, lest I infect her with my troubles, I jokingly replied that my mother's prayers are working wonders in my lofe, and she said that I should be happy she is in my life. A lot of the time, she has made such comments. There was a day she said that if I keep her happy, that I will keep enjoying. She says God answers her prayers and honestly, her life is good. It just feels like she has everything all figured out.

Honestly, everything feels better around me since I met her and i also believe in the notion that some people can pull good fortune to you, but I'm also apprehensive. What if i cheat on her, what if i break up with her?

Has anyone had this type.of encounter? Please, she is not a bad person. I'm just wondering if there are truly people like this.
You are dating a confam emere...
Well if u wont cheat just go ahead n enjoy the wealth she brings
