I haven't taken that particular verse out of context. See your defence is shallow because if it was directed to Muslims that were going to engage in war BACK THEN, then what relevance does it presence bear been in the Qu'ran? If it's not an instruction for all Muslims to follow till today then don't you think it could motivate Islamic extremism as perpetrated in modern times? Such verse is liable for deliberate mis-interpretation by some ulterior-motivist to instigate jihad and other political agenda.

Everyone that has ever commented on this otherwise derailed thread knows nothing of what they think they know of. Shymmex talking about Ifa totally got it wrong. Even i who was brought up in it still find it difficult to define in English. Its too wide and extensive. Shymmex narrowing it down to spirituality is just a tip of it. According to IFA, a particular Yoruba deity called Osanyin (deity of ishegun) brought the knowledge supernatural science to Ile-aye and taught Orunmilla (deity and custodian of IFA) wherein is a particular YAS (Yoruba Adavanced Science) called 'ifura' ( that which triggers the body when danger is coming). If Bimbo Odukoya or any of those in Dana and Sosoliso plane crash had put aside their religious indoctrinations, and used it they would have been alive today. Atheism is simply non believe in anything supernatural except proven such as the Jeovah God, Satan the Devil, Angel, Al-jin, Ghosts, Buddha, Fairies, etc....you logic becomes self-flawes because it assumes that anyone agreeing to the existence of electrons or gamma rays is into religion. Atheist believe in the Big Bang theory because it suggest credible explanation to the origin of the universe and life form...which I for one agree with only to a certain extent though. |

abhosts: Ngige broke the oath he made to a local god and nothing happened to him. Remember Okija?If he actually took a oath as reported, then that particular Okija he took the oath from isn't a genuine one. Like one poster wrote - he should have done it in front of the camera and broadcasted. Its not something can just go and do on his/her own coming out with a video to deceive the world. It is a process that would be properly planned involving tested and confirmed practitioners. |
