people dont use alternatives like wooden internal stud walls because we are resistant to change in nigeria,the funny thing is that some people will have a fenced plot o fland and save up for 10-15 years in order to have enough to build the conventional way when a fraction of the price will have built a nice sturdy contemporary house looking better than what is obtained presently.
the only places that much concrete is used these days is in building bridges,and industrial structures,
another cheap building alternative that goodluck should be promoting which is popular is pre fabricated houses

imo if the so called next generation dont start doing things differently then these sort of impunity will continue why cant the youths in a particular area say ikeja gather themselves together under a political party refuse financial inducement and choose a candidate amongst themselves and vote him/her in starting with councillor,local govt chairman etc?

there is no skills involved as such the most important thing is for the carpenter to follow the plans and for a hot climate like ours its more suited for us than the western world that is cold most of the year.

its about time,the idea of dangote robbing peter to pay paul with impunity all these years should have been curtailed,its suprising however that when the rest of the world have graduated to using more environmentally friendly but durable materials to build houses we are still stuck with using an average of 1 ton of pure concrete on building which is apalling.

i have seen a real incident of jazz at work,and this was while i was in higher institution in nigeria, i had a car in school and on this ocassion two rival cults started their wahala the day after being a saturday over night one guy i knew was attacked and shot multiple times i was going back home the next day and they came to call me to help drop the guy off at his house.
i saw with my own eyes the impression of bullets that did not penetrate and the faint lines of matchete cuts that didnt penetrate, the guy was groaning in pains but there was absolutely no blood this was not nollywood i saw it with my own eyes and the guy confirmed it.

second one i have seen happened in my own house in nigeria, my dad employs about 5 o.p.c old men to guard the compound and on one ocassion their leader put this amulet on a plain plank of wood and shot it a couple of times and there want a single mark on the smooth wood, again i saw it with my own eyes,

from the short narrative,i am sorry but i suspect your wife is wearing the trousers in the house,if not she will hearken to whatever her husband wants in the matrimonial home i will advice you to act fast bearing in mind two important points
1.if you have male children,they are watching you and your actions and they will emulate the same actions you as a man takes
2.a wife who isnt bothered to look for you or settle things amicably or better still tell her mum to go and meet her own husband while she takes care of hers needs a lot of care and attention.
