After you have registered at Rathaus and you have a confirmed home address,You go to the nearest deutsche bank with your documents cos they will only send your atm and pin to your home address and with that you can withdraw.

Leave them,We Nigerians too like short cut,By the time you start doing things with Germany,You will realize that their system is very rigorous.

People shouldn't be after getting admission alone because to me that is the simplest thing but always think of meeting visa requirement cos a school will never instruct embassy to issue you visa.

Even when you get here another screening level is when going to extend your visa.

With the introduction of facial biometrics in passports issued from 1 November 2005 onwards, please note that also passport photographs for visa applications need to meet higher standards than in the past.

Photograph specifications for visa applications

To ensure that passport photographs satisfy the requirements, they must meet the following specifications:

FORMAT

Full front view of face, centred, features from chin to hairline and both sides of face must be clearly visible. From top to bottom face must fill 70-80% (between 32 and 36 mm) of the photograph. Front of head (including hair) must be completely visible, with dimensions of face as specified.

I was a little bit withdrawn because i didnt have a place to pass the night...& not even a close contact in Munich to offer assistance...The Octoberfest is for real & the place is bubbling... After making inquiries from my school, i was advised to book for one night accommodation at the 'The4you Hotel and Hostel' - where i shared a room with 11 others (both males and females) for the night... Well, all i can say is that Munich is a friendly place... Before coming to Munich, try to get a smart phone and download the map of Bavaria...this has been quite helpful and I have noticed that most people dont really know their way around... so they are pinned down to their phones for navigation... Also, my dear brothers and sisters, please carry everything you think you would need because things here are quite expensive... See you guys soon & to all dear Nairalanders who are expecting their Visas, I wish you success...

steelie: euro youth hostel and smartcity hostel..prices aren't stable, they vary every night frm €22-60 for a 4 bed mixed dorm ensuite.

People going to Munich now should relax until the festival is over,If not you will just come here and realized that everywhere has been fully booked.I will be going there this weekend again cos the festival is about to finish..

After the festival you might be lucky to find dorm hostel for 10 euro per night and even hotel of 30 euro but for now NOPE.

If you wanna study in Munich you can also settle less in a suburb town close to Munich since the transportation system is efficient or try to share flat with colleagues cos student dorm might be fully booked too.

Please people waiting for their visas should still try to relax,Ya'll do know that it could take 6-8 weeks before you get your visa.

It depends However you do not have to arrive late because the Foreign office will ask you reason for your lateness before they can even extend your visa.

I am living in Europe and i am starting to believe that this racism thingy can be favorable at times.You see that is why Europe is very cleaned and organized than USA.I know there too and when i say very clean i mean very clean but the racism here is higher than USA.

It is just because we black people some of us are violent,dangerous and some do not even have focus.If you see people fighting here they are blacks,If they organize a party they are gonna fight at the end,many of us are just bad..

The rate of blacks going to school here too is very low,we just wanna make quick money.
