gudboyz: I did show enough intention that I was coming back. I have a good job,married,1 child, properties, good statement of account. I was not refused because i did not show any intention to leave member state,I was refused because i did not justify purpose of visit.

I do not know what to tell ya than reply later.Try other schengen country cos if you appeal then that might take alot of time and nothing good really comes out of it.

gudboyz: I was refused a German visit visa on the grounds that the purpose of visit/stay is not justifiable. I submitted all the required documents as indicated on the checklist,my host(brother-in-law) sent me a Guarantor's invitation Letter and the interview was OK. What do i need to do to justify purpose of visit? I intend to reapply in a couple of months time,what do i need to better my chances as i honestly wants to visit and come back

you did not show enough intentions thst you will be coming back after visit.Maybe you do.not have any ties back home like good job,bejng married and properties.

I have to be on the waiting list for at least a semester and some even for two semesters depending on whether I prefer a shared house, shared apartment, single apartment, single room, double room, family apartment etc...that's what I saw when applying for those Halls of Residence ...OR did you take part in the lottery for accommodation at LMU? You are very very lucky and blessed to have that type of accommodation ! It's cheaper than renting a private place which Steelie and I might have to do for now ! Are you going for a Masters or Undergraduate program?

dont dare hotels in munich for now because its damn exspensive cos of oktobernfest.the cheapest room of twenty euro now cost 250 euro .if you can wait till mid oktober then you can get cheaper accomodation hostels are plenty

Katangora: Went to the embassy last week to notorize my documents before sending them out to various schools, I intend applying to 10 schools .. .. I dey vex abi?
But the Nigerian lady at the reception didn't find it funny ooo, she was just tackling me, why should you apply to all these schools, that she can only notorize 3 documents.. I even try to begged her, but she no gree oooo.
I was like, is there a rule stating how many schools I can apply to? I left there sha, will go to high court for notorization..I no no wetin dey do our naija people for embassy, even oyinbo wey dey incharge of the notorization self no complain, na we stumbling block for ourselves
Please anyone who has done his at the court should put me through, and hope schools in Germany ll accept such.

you do not have to listen to the woman,Know your right people,You can easily get a hold of her Boss.Many Nigerians that work in embassies out there are always jealous and i dont know why..you can even petition her just send a message to the embassy e mail

It is always better to do it at the embassy cos the way they package your document and notify it gives you higher chances in getting admission.At worst you could have reduce your documents to five and the woman will call on the lady that does it.

And you have chances of going back again later..Its free so far you have all original documents with you.

and yes private universities in Nigeria are meant for kids.

Just stay positive and keep praying to God.

Just know that the Embassy can give stories....Your visa decision comes in-between them and the foreign office.

Once they are well satisfied with your interview and documents.They forward your documents to foreign office in your study city.

So school cant really do much...whatever they say is from psychology sense.

Now you need to keep praying and believe.Relax your mind and i wouldn't advice you to keep disturbing the school cos embassy know it all that you need to resume soon.

when i say keep praying,Be serious oo seek for Gods favour because some people are really making this student visa now difficult cos that embassy have started dealing with some un-serious applicants.

aflynvir: nah he shouldn't just wait. We are going to the same school and I contacted my faculty coordinator who immediately called the Foreigners office. She then contacted me that the foreigners office have promised to approve it later in the week, but asked for the Lagos embassy mail. I sent it then she sent them a mail, in fact she copied me. Later the embassy replied her that the foreigners office just sent the approval and they would contact me soon. So now that has lifted my spirits. You know say me I don book for flight I no fit fold hands and I think it's worked out positively already.

The best thing is to wait,The school cant do anything with the foreigners office.They cannot even give foreigners office any order.
