Racoon: True! However, since VP Osinbajo is a well educated person & presumably a man of integrity, he ought to have resigned & leave the moribund govt since they dont respect his constitutional responsibility. This is what they is obtainable in civilised climes.
Perhaps he doesn't wants to offend the powers that be.However, events have proven time without number that these brutes dont respect him.So what has changed? if he resigns, who takes his place? Peter Obi abi |

Oga abeg carry ur phd go. I hav a lot to say but i'm too busy to type. Thank u prof. as vp his job description is tied to his boss the president who assigns duties to him and nothing more. You guys should stop this prejudice, do you want him to be disloyal to his boss? He has no powers except the powers confer to him by the President. What did GEJ change in Nigeria as VP? If you don't like him say so and stop being cynical |

IGBOSON1: See this fool!
You think you can force Buhari down our throats just because of Onitsha river port.....even after all the wickedness he's done and continues to do to Ndigbo? Whatever token shi't he's doing in the south-east.....is he using his personal money or money from northern groundnut to do it? Where does the south-east stand in appointments and federally enabled infrastructure compared to his north-west? I can tell you for free that Nigeria has taken more from Alaigbo than it has given to us, so stop disturbing us because of this little river port even as billion dollar investments are being channeled towards his north-west!
Buhari is worse than a terrorist....he's the spawn of satan! Oya, go tell him to stop whatever he's doing with Onitsha river port because i called him out for what he really is! what was taken from you guys? is it money, land or what |

These people are working for Atiku and PDP You are very right, it's still vp position in pdp they will settle for. Their fear is that the APC chances of winning again in 2023 is too high and they know they will not feature in that ticket be it president or vice. |

rontolo: What he says may have some merit. But when NOI complained of state govs being a clog, I remember this man, Amaechi and co antagonising her viciously. To them, all things evil emanated from the Fed gov/centre.
The issue is, given his antecedent, double-speak and hypocrisy, there is a major credibility gap with Fashola . He lost credibility after he left office as gov. Desperate to remain politically relevant, will say anything and oppose anyone regardless. Remember the Power solution in 6 months? I’m sure he knew he was embellishing when he said that
He isn’t credible and should fem. If this had come from the likes of NOI or others who have stuck to a consistent message, fine. Not from this hypocrite abeg Do you yourself have credibility? |
Politics › Re: Fayose: Lagos Is Ripe For Takeover By PDP by Goke7: 2:02pm On Oct 02, 2020 |
WordMetrix: What you don't seem to understand is that as the federal Capital Territory, Lagos had already attracted all necessary resources both human and material, to make it succeed before hand. Check through the globe and see, there's no state which was once a federal Capital that it's not more developed than the other components. Any project carried by successive governments is predicated on what has already been built. As the former FCT, Lagos had already put everything on ground to make it succeed for coming years. For instance, industrial estates had attracted lots of human capital to Lagos of yesterday thereby boosting the IGR potentials of the state not necessarily because of what the governors are doing today. This informs the reason for the presence of different professionals and technocrats in the state. If you think what I'm saying isn't true then go and read Mydal's theory of resource development Those industrial estates you are talking about was built by awolowo and he was never Nigeria's president. Matori, oba Akran, isolo name them were all awolowo projects and legacies. It was even FG that leveraged on all these industrial clusters and are still benefitting from them. Don't rewrite history, Abuja has been federal capital for almost 30 yrs now and still cannot match up to Lagos, e get why |

Instead of boldly asking for your rights from PDP, you prefer to sell it like a plate of porridge only to cry foul later. When did Wike and Secondus join PDP? look at how they hold sway in the party whereas Igbos that claim to be smarter are nowhere to be found in PDP. The igbos only roll with anyone in power, their pain with PMB is that he never gave them face. When obj, Yar adua and gej was president they roll with them. Remember that when Yar dua was even sick they were even supporting Yar dua wife against gej, that's how lazy they are. Power must be served alacarte or they start crying like babies. |

AlabiJ: This frontal attack against Bode George's leadership of Lagos PDP by Ayo Fayose shows that there's a serious crack in the SW PDP. Bode George is in Seyi Makinde's camp, while most of the SW party chairmen are in Fayose's camp. This also shows that the PDP candidate in the upcoming Lagos senatorial election may not have Bode George's election. Even the Lagos PDP is divided; one camp is loyal to Bode George and a factional chairman, while another is loyal to another faction that has Uche Secondus endorsement. In short, Lagos PDP isn't ready. Pdp has always been factionalized from the amodu sheriff time, na boju boju pdp just dey too. Nigerians will know better soon |

Ayed44: Try and Google Nigeria's GDP in May 1999 and in May 2015.
As for the comparison between APC and PDP, it is unfortunate that we are stuck between APC and PDP. But u cannot compare the two parties based only on ur individual opinion. Conduct a simple opinion poll across Nigeria and u will discover that 75% of Nigerians believe that their lives were far better under the PDP government that under the current APC government. You will not know this unless you carry out an nationwide opinion poll.
In other words, if u conduct a free and fair presidential election in Nigeria today, majority of Nigerians will vote for PDP. Nigerians have shorter memories that's why, do you know how many times the price of fuel went up in the days of pdp? obj said if nigerians can afford a bottle of beer, why are we complaining, it was the hardship under pdp that made Nigerians vote APC, now whether APC has performed is a different matter. it is you guys in the cities that deride APC, folks living in villages where infrastructures like roads and rails built by the APC pass through have different views about the party |

A divided APC can never defeat PDP in Ekiti. The party must learn from the recent mistake of Edo. it's not over, the nullity is just to take side with the Governor to save the embarrassment, expect more trouble in Ekiti especially with the way the party and presidency showed their hand in the last edo elections. The Presidency and the party just gave more room for antiparty activities extravaganza. pikin wey say im mama no go sleep, im self go dey do night vigil everyday |
