Politics › Re: People Stone Saraki At Ilorin Eid Praying Ground - Newsrescue.com by Goke7: 8:49am On Sep 25, 2015 |
humilitypays: During the presidential election campaign, APC and their gullible brainwashed supporters never agreed that Sarakis are a corrupt family holding Kwara State down for decades.
They hailed Saraki when he was helping them to condemn Goodluck their dreaded Igbo enemy.
Today, they are now stoning Saraki and calling him a thief just because he's not dancing to the tone of the APC god fathers, shame on you people!
The same way we have been crying and shouting that Tinubu is a thief and the father of corruption holding Lagos state down for decades now....installing his family members and puppets in every available political position, yet the gullible people of Lagos and Yorubas keep hailing Tinubu and calling him father of politics.
Tomorrow when karma start to reward Tinubu and his family, you people should please allow us to rest and carry your cross on your own.
It is only in Yoruba states that one man, one family will hold a whole state in ransom for years without the people revolting against it.
Uba family tried it in Anambra and they didn't find it funny, its high time Yoruba people wake up and stop playing tribal politics of dancing to the music played by one family for years!
It is also time Lagos people rise up and stone Tinubu and his entire family for holding State down!
Without Tinubu, Lagos state will be as developed as New York with the amount of internally generated fund....but the Jagaban has hypnotised all Lagosians and Yoruba people just like Saraki!
#IsTimeForLagosiansToStoneTinubu The likes of tinubu quickly dance and change to public opinion or majority opinion before they can be stoned. This is what differentiate them from the likes of saraki and GEJ who will keep on swimming against majority opinion until they are finally kicked out. A tinubu would have sorted out workers salary before a festive season and even invite people to his house to distributed rams and other gifts even saraki late father was even smarter. Our dear senate President is not as intelligent as people think. He is an oponu in my opinion. |

Immunity is all what fayose have if not he will go down more easily than saraki but may I remind fayose that PDP no longer have control over the police or security agencies to support all those bragging of his.
There will be no Army general that he can bark orders on like he did at ekiti during his election even GEJ does not have that privilege any longer. |

Mind you its the so called pdp blocks in Apc that gave buhari his victory at the polls weda you take it or leave it. Its also d proceeds from corruption that assisted buharis election campaign. Most of the current APC members participated in sharing the loot of the last administration bf decamping to APC. If you hate saraki now its simply cuz he beat Apc to d game of selective politics were persons are imposed by a certain leader. For now Apc sees saraki as their worst night mare and as such wants him out of the way n d only way the present administration could do that is to hide under the law. Tinumbu said n I quote "I will not accept the person of Saraki as Senate president" n now this? So y dint dint CCT invite buhari knwing he dint declare all his assets? You guys are so gullible. And even boasting about it. That is why we call then saTANists. any fight against corruption is with-hunt to them. they wined and dined with corruption for 16 years that any time the word anti corruption is mentioned, the fall sick and get admitted without no plans for discharge in any hospital, very sick people indeed |

gentlelarry: Merely reading the comments in this thread, you will know the problem of Nigeria is not leaders but we citizens. Somebody was accused; very simple, all we want is for him to appear before the court and say his own side of the story SIMPLE... Guilty or Not! A whole president of the SEnate of the federal Republic of Nigeria cannot even respect the law, abi se Code of conduct tribunal was not established by act of law ni, so, why all this movie... I cry for this Nation not because of our leader but because of the clueless and corrupt citizens that lack common sense to differentiate right from wrong... Guilty or No guilty... Let Saraki appear b4 the law!!!! If this case is buried or rubbished then believe me The hope of this Nation is being buried gradually.... If it was an undergraduate that was charged of stealing... Na like 50 handcuffs sars go take carry am go court even when he has not been pronounced guilty by court.. Nobody is bringing our dear SP with handcuff all we want is for him to respect himself and appear b4 the court... This can't even happen in a well civilised country... If we are crying that we want to be developed we really have to understand the basics of what is means... You have said it all, Nigerians generally romance, live and dine with corruption, it has become part of daily lives, hence theses thieves in agbada will continue as they like. Nigerians truly are the problem |
Politics › Re: Saraki's CCB Trial Live On Channels TV by Goke7: 12:14pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
Nigerians are very funny, whenever allegations are made by the Govt against corrupt politicians, you will see so called analysts blasting Govt that they should prosecute them in court instead of trials in the media or newspapers, now a case is in court and the so called politician can't even come and defend himself and people are still supporting him for disobeying the court.
My question: How do we then fight corruption if we continue to support people to disobey court orders? |

Those who are supporting saraki esp the pdp are the biggest headache saraki himself is having, they are the ones making saraki to be seen as a pdp member by the apc. you will expect the pdp and its supporters to be happy that there is infighting within the apc which may be beneficial to them in the long run but with they way they keep supporting saraki, Buhari and the apc will continue to see saraki as an enemy within that must be gotten rid of and they will go at any length to achieve that.
The last time I checked saraki is still an apc member so why can't pdp allow apc to fight themselves wella, afterall they told PMB to start the anti-corruption crusade from his own party.
This was how they supported GEJ till they drown him finally |

Dcomrade: Seems someone somewhere is still not happy seeing saraki as the Senate President....but were they not aware of his corrupt practices before they termed him and his likes progressive and accepted them in APC? I'm fully in support of this move, because like PMB said his fight against corruption knows no party boundary.....but something tells me Saraki is patiently waiting for Ministerial screening and other appointments that has to do with Senate screening....The journey to 2019 is really gonna be fun as PDP may just take a chill pill and watch APC play both the ruling and opposition party within themselves because that's what you get when you assemble people of different ideology together with the sole aim of taking power from GEJ. Saraki can do nothing with the ministerial screening, PMB is already operating without ministers so the pressure of not appointing ministers will shift to the senate if they fail to approve the list of ministers sent to them by PMB. PMB has got everyone in his pocket both the senate and the reps, this is is most irrelevant National assembly we would ever had in the history of Nigeria and this is the first time we would also be having a President that when he sneezes, the whole arms of Govt whether the judiciary or National assembly and even the armed forces will catch cold. How PMB is doing it truly amazes me. the juju PMB dey use scarce for market |

Business › Re: Cash Shortage Hits Banks As TSA Deadline Expires by Goke7: 9:06am On Sep 16, 2015 |
Flets: There are many economic policies in the world today that can be adopted but its stupidity to think it would work in all type of economies.
Is maintaining TSA a good initiative - Yes.... just like many other good initiatives What is the main aim of TSA - to ensure no leakages of govt revenue across various ministries and MDAs Is it the only way to check and curb the leakages – NO What is the economic impact of implementing TSA – It will significantly impact the middle class, bank workers and SMEs (Small and Medium term enterprises)
What could have been done? – FG could have first documented the unremitted FG funds with these banks (These funds were not missing… they are known and with the commercial banks). Then begin a GRADUAL withdrawal of the funds from these banks in the space of a year or two to allow them sufficient time to react and retain their staff.
This was exactly the reason why NOI under GEJ took a gradual implementation of the TSA policy in order not to collapse the middle class as is currently being witnessed.
Buhari needed a finance minister first before anything… the harm is done already. Nigerians will feel the pain. the truth is all agencies of Govt should normally have and run their own accounts but Nigeria is a place where we abuse the even least of privileges given to us, its a shame that we cannot properly control our lusts and greed hence the need for us to be treated the way we are currently being treated. I still think there will be some exceptions in the long run, the Govt is only trying to remind us all that we need to act more responsibly. |

What is most worrying is d fact dat sum Nigerians re praying for this administration to fail so dat dey will blame Buhari. Are u guys kidding me?, next election is in four years time nd u already looking for d downfall of this administration. Shouldn't the well-being nd progress of the country Nigeria come 1st b4 any political party?. Am tired of seeing people here say this nd dat that dis country wil go worst wen we should b praying it gets better. No one will say dat Nigeria is nt winning d war against terrorism nd corruption ryt nw nd dis two re d biggest problems faced in this country. Gosh its been only 100days in office, we should at least give dis administration a chance. I don't support any political party cus I vote for d person I think is credible enough and not on political nd ethnic reasons.... Pls let's all rally for this govt to work nd contribute our own quarter cus Nigeria been better will b for our own good. The truth is GEJ played the dirtiest politics that you can never think of he divided Nigerians further along ethnic lines and religion to the extent that even Pastors were fighting themselves over GEJ, even right now it has not stopped with ffk telling us that Nigeria is on satanic foundation and aribisala telling us that APC is witchcraft after the Islamic agenda thing they used before failed. This is kind of Politics and Nigeria GEJ left us with where we blame the devil, islam, satan instead for all our stealing and corruption. |

This is why I don't understand what a seasoned technocrat like Emefile is still doing as CBN governo?
Sanusi was no genius but at least he was able to exercise the autonomous authority of the CBN.
The politics of the Naira is above sound economics of the naira evaluation.
This govt is outdated and still existing on west Germany time as it can be seen that they consider the face value of the naira as the only yardstick to success in managing the economy.
If Japan and China and even the US are constantly looking for ways to devalue their currency what is an import based economy like Nigeria waiting for? Hypocrisy of the highest order, you guys chased Sanusi out because of your beloved GEJ, you now remember some of his good deeds to discredit PMB. I urge sensible and well educated Nigerians not to be swayed by diversionary threads like this, they are trying very hard to incite Nigerians against this present Govt. since they lost on March 28 but they keep failing just like they were doing before the elections using islamic agenda, Christianity agenda, southern agenda, northern agenda and so on. They will continue with all these throughout PMB's tenure as its keep getting difficult for the looters of our treasury over the years to continue their stealing.
They are not happy with the improvement in electricity, improved distribution of petroleum products [imagine diesel price reducing], reforms in NNPC , leakages through corruption blocked and so on. The looting cabal are not having the best of time now and they will surely fight back. The JP morgan's thing is the food for them now after all the noise about lopsided appointments and the declaration of assets.
We will keep on seeing threads like this and more will come but let's be resolute and support the PMB's administration, as no one can fight an idea whose time has come. God bless Nigeria. |
