Hi everyone. I need opinions here
So, I am currently on tier 2 and pregnant at the moment. I am seriously considering having my baby in the US for citizenship sake.

I know my baby will be admitted into the UK after birth with a US passport however, I know that you are only allowed to stay in the UK with a US passport for a maximum of 180days (3 months)
1. does this mean I have to take my baby to Nigeria before 180 days to apply for a dependant visa for him/her

Secondly, will my baby be entitled to NHS care while here in the UK with a US passport?? Or will the baby be considered a visitor, thus, not eligible to use the NHS??

I need answers please and possible links

I started showing at 21weeks +. Just woke up and saw my tummy showing, so now everyone at work is asking me.... are you expecting? The advantage is that people are being super supportive and not letting me do much.

I am thankful to God for his faithfulness so far.

You are not the only one dear. I didn’t have any at all except for sore boobs. At a point I was wondering if this pregnancy is actually real that when I had my 1st scan, I asked the sonographer “ so there is really a baby in there”. Will be 22weeks by Saturday and so far all is well. All scans and blood tests show baby is find and doing good.

Just flex your symptomless pregnancy and thank God for it

I prayed to God just for my dad to wait till my baby was born, and now I got the shocker of my life after everyone lied to me about it... My dad is no more, I promised him 3days back to bring my baby to see him, for him to just hold on after all he was not sick.. Life took away the man who means so much to my life... Can't even think straight

Good evening mamas,Am a First time mom and I am really confused and need your advise.i have been leaking watery discharge for weeks and didn’t know it was my amniotic fluid leaking until it followed with heavy bleeding with clots when I tried to poop.I ran to the hospital as early as 4am and they said I have low lying placenta at 21 weeks 3 days.I was put on bed rest and the bleeding stopped.At the point of discharge 2 days later I stated to spot again with same watery discharge and went to the rest room to clean up.While cleaning I noticed I was able to feel my water bag almost at the tip of my vagina and quickly alerted the Doctor.They tried to do an emergency Cerclage but could not.I have been placed on permanent bed rest and antibiotics to avoid infection.The doctors are telling me that at 22weeks my baby is not viable if I go into labour and would need to let go.

My baby’s heart beat is still strong and he is kicking.I feel he should be given a chance since he is still alive than just write him off due to risk of infection,my blood pressure has been fine and temp ok.I need advise should I transfer to another hospital with neo natal unit as I discovered they have no neo natal unit at this present hospital.Am just a jumble of emotions and don’t know what to do.I need advise.Please help

I am so sorry for what you are going through

Sadly, I don’t think you can get a cerclage done at the point as your membranes have already ruptured/broken. Like Kaffy said, if you can be kept on bedrest for as long as they can do so as to give your baby’s vital organs a little more time to mature a bit more, that might work. If that is the case, you will need to transfer to a hospital with a good NICU.

Alhamdulilah, my princesses are here via elective cs at 37weeks 2days.Twin A breech, Twin B cephalic. Twin A measuring 2.5kg, Twin B 2.8kg. Both in perfect condition. They are right beside me, no neonatal... I am also doing well, just need to catch some sleep . Dad doing well too despite UCH disturbing him around.
Didn't know their sexes until this morning. Remaining gist will be in BS...

I have started my ante-natal Care since the 7th week cos there are some scans and blood works that have to be done at specific stages of the pregnancy.

As for the fruits question, no it’s not all fruits that should be avoided, I hear you should avoid pineapple. The other experienced mamas will tell you the rest. But I have been having apples, grapes, tangerines, watermelon and bananas and I have had no problems with any of them so far.

God’s grace is in abundance for us all

Whoop whoop. 16weeks completed like 4months gone already. 5 more to go. Team November we are making progress. It still feels like yesterday when I saw those double lines on the test strip.

By the way, when will we have bump? I never get any ooo, I just look like I over ate. Bump do and show already so people will start giving up their seats for me.

Ok, whatever they send you, just use a little of it at a time. I eat normal peppersoup when I'm pregnant, and I can confirm it causes slight contractions, too slight to mean anything sha. But bodies are different. So don't eat more than a plate a day.

Ah.... slight contractions! I will save it then till 36 weeks plus, I no fit shout. I had a miscarriage last year so I don’t want to take chances.

I think you're better off making your own peppersoul spice when pregnant. The ingredients to avoid are uda, some people even say scent leaf. Some people say you should add them in very little quantities.

Thanks. I really can’t make them myself cos those ingredients are not easily accessible when I am. I am ordering from Nigeria. My cravings won’t let me be great.

In the last 5 years, I probably cook soup max 5 times a year and they are mainly when I have a guest but since this pregnancy, I have been craving very local Nigerian foods, so now, I am ordering both soup ingredients and pepper soup spice.

My sister, I can relate. It's always emotional especially when I was spotting at 3months and scared of the worse, my Lo was just lying down and waved at me like saying hi. The sonographer words of encouragement that I can scale it through and worth the effort made me cry. Here we are today, counting days

Awww.... those scans are so reassuring

My first scan, I was still partly in doubt whether I was truly pregnant as I didn’t experience all the textbook pregnancy signs and symptoms.

Immediately the midwife placed the probe and the little one jumped around, I smiled so wide. I still had to ask the midwife “so there is actually a baby in there”

Mamas.... who else gets excited every time they have a scan and get to see their baby?

Seeing this little one just makes my day
