I read somewhere that there is a period of the year they experience daylight for straight 3 months plus... Did you experience such? pol23: 1.Things are extra expensive, don’t be fooled that your USD is a big deal… price of commodities will shock you…. I had to google their average salary-$5500 monthly.
2.everyone understands and can speak fluent English , but they choose to speak their Norwegian language.
3. Norwegian currency and Swedish KR are kind of the official currency, as I can see some store prices in KR and some in NOK.
4. Food selection is the worst I ever come across in my little traveling experience, it’s so worst I didn’t taste rice for whole trip, because I didn’t see a single restaurant that have rice on their Menu.. RICE
They have different type of snacks to what everyone else have… I really suffer oo.
5.They’re so extra polite and very friendly, everyone I ask for direction took their time to direct me, some will even walk you to a certain distance just to make sure you’re clear.
6. It’s very clean, the city, subway, buses.
7.They dress modest, all those pop culture no really reach here, everyone dress responsible.
8.There’re very few smokers, considering that it’s winter and I can say I didn’t see up to 15 smokers during my stay… And no one was vaping.
I kind of love the calmness of the city… Will I go back to Norway - No. Will I advise you to go - No.
But if you want to go,please carry plenty money for pocket and don’t stay in Hotel.. stay in Airbnb, so you can cook your own food. Even KFC was banned here because of the kind of chicken they use, when you taste Norwegian juice, you can tell it’s juice from fruit and not the sugar we’re used to over here… They take quality of life very seriously I guess. |
Business › Re: Wrong Transfer Into My Bank Account. by GravityDefier: 8:16pm On Mar 18, 2024 |
Gadafii: If you know what’s good for you and value your peace of mind, don’t spend 1 kobo from that money, eventually the supermarket would find out about the wrong transfer and complain at their bank and the bank would initiate Post no debit (PND) on the recipient account which is you, they interbank means and you may be requested to show at the bank, incase you have spent it… it may be escalated to cbn and your BVN is used to blacklist all your bank accounts
Best thing is to report to your bank and let them contact the sender on your behalf but don’t transfer the money to the bank, insist the transfer must be made to the sender or you speak with the supermarket
But incase you have strength for wahala you can g ahead and spend it hoping the owner don’t find out cos if they do, wahala go full ground for you
Modified…..
I see some of you are quoting me saying bull crap and all, because I advised him not to spend it..it is well oo
Someone said he’s already looking at the money one kind and you are saying he won’t spend it
If he like make he spend am. There are two possible outcome, he either get away with that or get blacklisted
I doubt if he would prefer the later, because the chances of the former is very slim Are you sure CBN is working? Have reported my bank's fraudulent activities to CBN and they're both playing hide and seek. The young man might spend the money and still go scot free. Anything is possible in Nigeria. |

There is a politics being played by this Government. Food › How Much Is A Basin Of Garri In Your Area? by GravityDefier(op): 2:35pm On Feb 22, 2024 |
I went to price a basin of garri two weeks and one day ago (07/02/23) and was told that it was ₦7,800 (white garri @ ₦1600 per custard paint) but forgot my ATM card at home.
I went back the following day i.e exactly two weeks ago and bought it for ₦8,000 (₦1,700 per custard paint).
Just yesterday (thirteen days later), I decided to go buy a basin to add to the one at home before the price will balablu. Ladies and gentlemen, I was told that a basin of white garri now goes for ₦11,000 (₦2,300 per custard paint). I was shocked to my bones.
The seller advised me to buy it and not to wait till the one I have at home gets exhausted else the price will be edging towards ₦15,000. I told him "no way" and left.
What is the price of garri (red garri or white garri) in your area.

Not up to a year and you're already lamenting on the manhood? At least three more years of weeping. You are at least to be mentioning the achievements of your government by now, but no, just as the norm of the calamity in governance is - find whom to blame for lack of governance ideas.
Your present government and you supporters are finally conducting the burial ceremony of my beloved country. |

Back in 2021, I also lost my Oppo F11 pro (Avenger's edition) in a Keke.
A guy escorted his babe, put her in the keke and saw the phone. He alerted the keke driver and handed over the phone to him. The keke driver was a good man also.
I called my phone and he told me where to meet him for pick up. He refused the monetary gift I gave to him. Good people still dey Nigeria like this. |

I traveled and handed my keys to a close friend. We've known each other for over 6 years. Left behind some raw food items (rice, beans and garri) and provisions (indomie, milk, honey, custard etc).
I couldn't believe my eyes that my food items and provisions were exhausted. He would clean the house and whenever it was time to leave he would go with food items. My bag of rice wasn't left out, what is left is less than two custards of rice. Wait 🤔, did he sell my rice? All these without even informing me and I'm not even dead o 😲. All these just within two months.
Some friends are just leeches and opportunists. Am I alone in this boat or someone has done similar thing to you? |
