The fundamentals are not supporting entering them now until the management corrects the financial issue of the company My observation though The taxes imposed on the brewing sector by the previous government will soon be reviewed. |

emmanuelewumi: Airtel cant raise more than 500 million additional shares valued at about N800 billion I think they can raise some money if their share price goes down to, say, triple digits. An alternative would be to issue bonus shares or rights to existing shareholders. Either way, their outstanding shares should go up. It doesn't have to be 500 million shares at once, but in tranches. |

MTN might do reconstruction. I think the "SCRIPT" issuance should stop. I think MTN's float is fine as it is. I love the level of liquidity that comes with investing in MTN shares. It is Airtel that I see coming to the market to raise additional funds in the future and their outstanding shares will increase as a result. |

emmanuelewumi: The beauty of some of these credit facilities for investment purposes is their flexibility.
Assuming you have an Asset Backed loan of N1 million at 20%, they usually give for 6 months with the option to rollover as long as possible.
The interest for 6 months will be 100k, after paying the interest the investor can rollover, if the investor paid the interest and another 200k out of the principal. The principal sum will be 800k and the interest payable in the next 6 months will be 80k.
Salary earners can opt for the monthly payment option.
I usually do the quarterly and half year payments I think at the rate you're encouraging loans here, you could be criticized if the loans go wrong for some people. So I would suggest that you could always post a warning that absolves you of any wrongdoing that might happen with their loans. |

S&P and QQQ just hit 52 weeks high.
When the US markets starts showing signs of decline, that when one should be cautious.
The removal of Emefiele can however cause a decline in the short term Foreign investors do not like him again. They prefer someone else who won't impose FX controls and multiple exchange rates. I guess the market should be happy with this news. |

kolaish: Thank you. Personally, I think we all should exercise some restraints about the way we call out people here negatively, especially those that are highly resourced like oracle. Nobody is paid a penny to dish out analysis of the present and future events on the markets based on his research, therefore, the least we can do is to at least give them some respect.
Additionally, we at times fail to realize that market never go up or down forever. It is like a cycle, it goes up and later come down. But some people here are aversive and want the market to go up forever which is virtually impossible. The best one can do for himself is to gather the positives and negatives and make a good decision out of it. Good luck to all.
