No doubt the PDP politicians and APC ones are mostly complicit in the sad news this nation is,but the bulk of the blame should go to Buhari and his APC gang who deceived gullible Nigerians into thinking that they will sincerely fight against corruption. Ofcourse, with the nomination of famous thieves - people who have always been part of the problem - everybody now knows Buhari as a typical Nigerian who will suddenly feign ignorance when it comes to parochial interest. Well,i guess we'll all have to wait to see how monkeys can change to humans in a new environment. |
OP, honestly, you deserve to be sent straight to jail without trial for this kind of post. Are you by anyway indirectly mocking Buhari for being inept? What happened to all the juicy promises they made during the campaign? When we were shouting it to folks like you that Buhari has nothing meaningful to contribute if elected, you wouldn't listen. Some of you even intentionally sabotaged GEJ's government just so you could foist a complete archaic and eccentric man on us. Now you've started regretting and blaming GEJ in whoose government Nigeria's economy was acclaimed as the biggest in Africa; a government that attracted several investors because of the booming and lively public and private sector and Nigerians were begining to feel the effects of having a government almost for the first time. Anyway, keep on regretting and blaming, maybe in your next life you won't be so quick to cut off your eyes just to spite your face. |
All we keep on hearing since Buhari was sworn is bad news, bad news and more bad news... |
IlekeHD:You've succeeded in ridiculing yourself. I guess you were 'high' when you posted this. |
When they say Buhari is fighting against corruption,i just shake my head and feel great pity for this country. You're fighting against corruption yet you've supported the appointment of all the well known corrupt people in the country? Then who else are the corrupt politicians? Ghosts? Or the unfortunate scape goats? Let them keep on deceiving those who want to be deceived... |
Na wa for this country sef... |
Funny conspiracy theorists... You guys capable of linking anything up - even earth and Jupiter - and the stupid ones will believe it. |
Well...not really unexpected. |
bushdoc9919:I totally understand you. What you don't seem to get though is that this is not just your normal kidnapping case. Chief Falae and these guys have had issues in the past, and note ofcourse that Chief Falae is a prominent figure in this country;so there's no way i'll expect Chief Falae to come out PUBLICLY and say so so and so men arrested by the police were the people behind the kidnapping. He can id them secretly, but how would you know? This is simple security protocol. It's just like this boko haram issue - even though many of them have been arrested and are in custody, how many of them have been tried? And how many have come out to bear witness against them? Or do you think nobody knows them and can id them as BH members? A lot of politics are involved in cases like this and for security reasons, people prefer to reach a common ground by not getting involved directly. In any case,we can just wait for the coming days to find out how things will transpire. |
Omololu007:Bla bla bla bla... Mr man go and equip yourself first with proper reasoning skill before throwing your useless tantrums here. |
Omololu007:You see why I said you have a deficiency in reasoning? You've suddenly stu.pidly concluded that I'm Igbo. What has my tribe got to do with this issue now? |
bushdoc9919:Let me tell you that the police know how they handle this kind of issues. You have to understand the background of this case in question: Chief Falae said that he has been having issues with herdsmen for sometime, and it probably culminated to his kidnap. Mind you that all those while the police were unable to settle the scuffles. So now you expect Falae to risk his safety yet again by coming publicly to declare if the people arrested by the police are his kidnappers? Brother, knowing how this country works,Falae would probably tell the police to handle the situation by themselves without involving him directly. |
Omololu007:You're just being very childish and myopic here. He might say publicly that he paid ransom for his release, but you'll have to wait forever if you expect him to publicly declare that the people arrested by the police are his kidnappers. Infact, the police would advice him against that - for security reasons. Anyway, you might not really get this, seeing how childish and sentimental your reasoning is. |
Omololu007:what kind of question is that? So you actually expect Falae to come out publicly and state if those arrested by the police were his kidnappers? |
Saurab:So you expect Falae to id his kidnappers? Chai....you deserve a resounding e-slap for suggesting this. |
Good one from Gambia. Kudos to former President,GEJ for helping to make Nollywood attractive internationally. Weldone to our Actors and Actresses. |
GentleToks:Guy,I tell you,if you were near me the kind of heavy slap I for woze you ehh... Your brain go reboot immediately. You are utterly sha*meless and a hope*less coward for posting this kind of rubbish. I spit on you. Shame on you! Tufiakwa! I've never seen this kind of spineless coward before. |
There's indeed systematic genocide going on in this country. Let every tribe set up vigilantes and create awareness on this. |
APC blames Gov Mimiko for the kidnapping since his the chief security officer of the state, but berates FFK who blamed Buhari (the Chief security of the Country) for the kidnapping and security lapses. If this isn't madness,i wonder what is. |
If Bokoharam can be this active when Buhari (a former military ruler and army General) is the president, then i think GEJ performed far more better than Nigerians gave him credit for. This is a true case of not knowing the worth of what one has until it is lost. |
modath:Yes,blame the PDP. Blame GEJ,but never for once blame your Aregbesola for mismanagement and financial recklessness. Never tell Osun government to look for ways to improve their IGR. No. Your type make people feel Osun people deserve what they are experiencing presently. |
@whoever wrote this article, your advice and suggestions are coming a little too late. So you just realized all these now that Buhari has shown himself to be clearly vindictive and sectional with his mode of appointments? When people were shouting it during GEJ's tenure; calling for southerners to support their own and for Southerners to come together, pretentious myopic folks like you were forming deaf and 'righteous' all of a sudden, and never even believed there was anything like Southerners. Now you've suddenly woken up from your slumber and realized that Southerners should come together? If by Southerners you include folks like you who pulled down GEJ's government and helped to install GMB,then you should shove your message down where the sun doesn't shine. Let peole who gave GMB 95% and those who gave 5% live with the consequences. |
It's becoming very obvious that Buhari doesn't have any clue whatsoever as to solving this Boko haram issue. I don't see any particular positive achievement he has gained so far in this direction that GEJ didn't do even better. Let it be known to Buhari that the votes he got from the 5% zone were majorly because of this Boko haram issue. So if he can not do something tangible about it,then all his so-called fight against corruption are naught, and his frail a*ss will be gladly kicked back to Daura with shame. |
Will he listen to this voice of reason? It's as though Oshiomhole is on a path of self destruction... Our elders say that the stubborn grasshopper that refuses to heed to advice ends up in the tommy of a lizard. |
Txonyi:I told you that I got your point. The only problem I have with it is the way and manner you're going about it. I feel it is wrong. Now,check the kind of reactions you've been getting from Imolites and other Igbos on this thread. Are they encouraging? If the way you want to achieve Biafra is by ridiculing and pulling down your own very brothers on a public forum, then you're not just ready yet. If you feel Rochas is the issue, why don't you address Rochas specifically(since he's already a public figure). I sincerely hope you understand these points I raised and exercise restraint and wisdom. |
OP, I understand your sentiments for creating this topic, but you're going about it the wrong way. You don't come to a public forum and disclose your 'weakness'. It is wrong. There are better; mature and tactical ways to go about this. You should know very well that not everyone will share(at least initially) in the Biafra vision, and it doesn't mean those ones are saboteurs or traitors,or that they're undermining your efforts. Don't pull down your stronghold with your own hands. |
You're here dancing round in circles. The question is: Amaechi, are you disappointed or not? Simple 'yes' or 'no' will do. |
Op,i don't seem to get the purpose of this your post; perhaps, you should help me out here. Are you saying that the SE people don't deserve any major appointments from Buhari because they didn't vote for him en masse? Or that they don't have any constitutional right to complain, and demand for good governance from this government? Or you're suggesting that if after Buhari's tenure, and new government enters, they can make appointments based on who voted and who didn't vote for them? I don't just get you at all. |
People who mean well for Buhari and the country will speak up against his mode of appointments, yet sycophants who feel they love Buhari more than anybody else will come here and tell you it doesn't matter if all his appointments her from a particular section. We're all watching. He that the gods want to make mad, will be made to refuse advice from his kinsmen. |
