Long overdue. There people fought and lost lives to have their own indepent nation. The sensible thing to do if you want them to stop all the agitations is to give them special treatment and to rehabilitate the regions. |
slimfit1:You want to wait till 2019 before assessing Buhari? You must be really joking... You're here forming loyal Buhari supporter when all indices so far portend that the country under Buhari is not making any positive headway. Well-meaning Nigerians - even core APC supporters - have spoken out on this, yet your likes keep on dwelling in Fantacies. Let me spell it out to you: the challenges of this nation is way beyond what Buhari can handle. He's only marking time, waiting for time to pass so that he can hand over to the agreed person and retire. He really doesn't care; he's only managing. |
Just watch as people castigate this man without trying to reason out the message he's passing. Almost all the vices that the wise ones foresaw that will characterize Buhari's tenure are happening right before our very eyes,so i won't put it beyond Buhari to try Islamize Nigeria. If only Nigerians had listened,we wouldn't be saddled with this embarassment called Buhari. |
Honestly GEJ was in every way better than Buhari. It seems like we're in a trance. I never thought a time would come in Nigeria when ordinary satchet water will go for about 200 naira per bag. Does im mean that the sources of water for the production of Satchet water have all dried up? The electricity situation now has become worse... All within a period of 9 months Buhari took over. Buhari and his gang members will keep on giving us excuses upon excuses yet,if another president takes over from him, things will automatically become better. I ask,are Nigerians been punished with Buhari or what? |
Lawmosh:Must you bring in the Igbos in your infantile dicck measuring? What's the matter with you? Why can't you be complete and self-assured without mentioning the Igbos? Dem do you juju? Eeh? |
This "mere commissioner" should just shut up. We're tired of hearing excuses from you guys. If it is so,why did you even bother contesting for election in the first place? Why did it take you such a long time before naming your ministers and cabinet? Abegi. |
Op,to patronize made in Nigeria goods and services doesn't necessarily mean that you must source all you consume from within Nigeria. There's no country in this world that depends 100% on goods and services sourced within that country. Cut the man some slack... He's after all a human being and he's doing a good job with his campaign. |
gagewonda:See mr man, refrain from bringing the Obi of Onitsha or the Igbos in your Benin/Yoruba contest. The Obi of Onitsha has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with your Benin Kingdom. Be properly guided. |
Fulanis and Tivs? They're brothers na... Nigerians should let them settle it themselves. Na family mata. |
Yes |
With all these mess,Buhari still has time to go on vacation? These people have turned governance to a huge joke. |
StOla:How will the court determine if perjury was committed? Simply by bringing evidence of the interview Aluko made on Channels Tv and by determining via Questioning/cross-examination,if Aluko was aware of any election malpractice during the period of the election and when he gave evidences during the Tribunal inquiries. They won't ask him to provide evidence of election malpractice; that is not the aim/responsibility of the court on perjury charges. |
StOla:Bro,i don't think that's how perjury cases are tried. In perjury trials, the duty of the court is to determine if the accused willfully lied to the court during the course of lending his witness; not to reopen the case. If it is established that Aluko (to the best of his knowledge) was aware of any election malpractice and he went ahead and gave false evidence in court, then he will be punished accordingly. Fayose is completely in the clear. Infact,Fayose has almost nothing to defend or present to the court. The case is between the Nigerian state/court vs Aluko. |
Ok |
OPCNAIRALAND:Flop as in how? Are you saying that you know better than all the foreign countries and bodies giving her awards and more responsibilities? Or you think those bodies and countries don't know that you're here whinning unnecessarily and yet they give her more awards and responsibilities? You see, your problem is you can't differentiate from APC's campaign propaganda and the reality on ground. |
We are all watching. Let's see how at least, there won't be a formal inquiry as to what is happening in Nigeria as pertains the Fg vs Biafra proponents. You can't tell me that people who are demanding for independence legally will be killed just like that and the perpetrators will walk. Somebody sooner or later, will be answerable. |
If indeed Buhari is a man of integrity and sincerity,he should make Amaechi clear his name on all these allegations against him. If he's not,he will pretend as though these allegations against one of his ministers never got his attention. |
It was APC that taught Nigerians that you can insult, castigate and denigrate the president and his office without any fear. Nigerians have learnt. No one should complain. |
Some dumb Tribalistic fellows above and bellow will ignore the crucial points this lawyer made and tag him ''Ipob'' just to hide their bigotry. |
Well, some people already blinded with hate and bigotry wouldn't agree with you on this even when the facts are staring them right in the face with the present Economic condition of the country. |
Onijagidijagan:Yet each time they mention anything about their own independent nation you start shivering and foaming in the mouth. |
It's quite strange how some people reason. It's simply better to just shut up when you're not sure of some things than to go about - stubbornly - exposing your ignorance for the whole world to see. You say these people are not Igbos, yet they bear Igbo names(up to as far back as anyone can remember),they have exact cultures and traditions with Igbos, they speak the Igbo language, the names of their towns and villages are Igbo, their traditional rulers have Igbo titles and, other people see them as Igbos. What can be more delusional than that? |
The laws of the country as interpreted by the Judiciary is sacrosant. Buhari can not claim to know more than the judges whose orders and rules he has constantly gone against - even proudly. That is infact making himself above the laws of the land. Let all those who support this now know this: Buhari is setting a precedence that other subsequent governments can follow. The elders say "when someone is carrying the corpse of a relative,it seems like the corpse of an animal to a non relative". |
deathtoalligbos:Seun OAM4J Mynd44 lalasticlala How can someone with this kind of handle be allowed on this forum? This goes against any decent rule on earth! I propose for his immediate lengthy ban and if possible, forward his details to the relevant security agency. |
themilanway:You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself for this comment... Your type can do anything just to remain a brain-washed slave. |
Afam4eva:My brother, you're missing the mark here. Igbos are simply saying that they prefer to pursue their progress as an independent nation which they can't successfully under this nation,Nigeria. It is not just a matter of bad governance or marginalization, rather, it's an ideology that comes from maturity and experience so far as Nigerians. Moreover, these Igbo leaders you want Igbos to protest against are being protected by the Nigerian system. You can't adequately hold them responsible when the already bad Nigerian system protects them. |
Politics aside,a man of Buhari's age ought not to be traveling about like this, for health reasons. He should be more reserved and reflective at this point in his life and leave tourism for younger men. |
Op,the tone of your report sounds biased, but i blame the Nigerian military/government for that. Since they've decided to be covering up the truth and dishing out pathetic lies that end up ridiculing our military, biased news such as yours will continue to flourish. |
Buhari has failed in all his promises made to Nigerians. I call on him now to resign honorably before he further plunges this country irredeemably. |
OP,from all indications, you wish you were Igbo. You can't help but envy these Igbo people that seem to be the nerve centre of the world and everybody is talking about... So what do you do? You hide under the facade of hatred and jealousy while secretely wishing you were Igbo. Accept it as it is - it is not your fault to be born as a non-Igbo,rather it is the fault of your mum who didn't have the opportunity to be impregnated by an Igbo man. |
Just within few months of Buhari taking over, everything has turned upside down and the man himself is as indolent as can be. We warned them but they wouldn't listen. I know atleast 50% of the "Sai Buhari" chanters must be deeply regretting the parts they played. |
