Securing the services of Mauricio Pochettino as the manager could potentially be a positive thing for Chelsea. The Argentine has a plethora of experience managing in the PL with Southampton and Tottenham Hotspurs. Under his management, in his first season, Southampton finished eighth in the PL whereas Spurs finished fifth and managed to reach the League Cup final. Pochettino led Spurs to some close PL title challenges, finishing in the top 4 in four out of the five full seasons. He peaked with the Spurs when they reached the final of UCL in the 2018–19 season. He began his managerial career with Espanyol, his boyhood club and his last job was at PSG. He won only three trophies there and his time ended bitterly in the French capital. Let’s not judge him by his time at PSG because I don’t think it’s a proper club. Even Pep Guardiola will become a victim of toxicity there. A common highlight of his time in Southampton and Spurs was his ability to promote young players. Under his tutelage, many young players went on to become great players: no name bigger than Harry Kane, Sadio Mane, and Heung Min-Son. There are other names such as Dele Alli, James Ward Prowse, Luke Shaw, Lucas Moura, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker, and Kieran Trippier. What does Chelsea have at the moment? A bunch of young players. I think Pochettino is the best candidate who can trim down the bloated squad and bring out the best. Pochettino is known for his high-pressing style with a preference for a 4–2–3–1 system while in possession and attack and 5–2–3 (or variations) while in defence. He’s going to give Chelsea an identity that has been missing since the sacking of Thomas Tuchel. His style of play is very demanding (more work rate) and the players require to run hard. I can see Mason Mount playing an important role in his system along with the full backs and pacy wingers. The truth is Sanwo-Olu has done fairly in Lagos but people expect hims to exceed expectations, the progress he has made may not be visible or glaring but he need to consolidate on his first term success, this is because the taxes collected by LSG is not commensurate with the development in the state. For instance, the LSETF has been a very good initiative that has helped many young Lagosians water boy is a glaring example. However, the dirty state of Lagos has to be critically looked into as years upon years no improvement. They don't need to wait weeks before raining season until LSWP come clear the gutters, there should be a permanent solution it. I make bold to say that most Lagosians would applaud the removal of "touts" disguised as as Park Management by LSG completely from the road, ensure LASTMA have body cam as this would reduce their corrupt tendencies. Light up Lagos project would be a great achievement as some petty robbery would be reduces to bearest minimum. Yes. He is an irresponsible person with mental problems, most likely genetic in origin that he would pass on to any children you would have with him. Plus, he obviously doesn’t use protection, so he might just be crawling with “bugs”. Syphilis is pretty is in vogue right now. Not to mention chlamydia, HPV, herpes, gonorrhea, Hep A, B and Cs etc, and HIV. Don’t bring drama into your life. Date an emotionally stable guy, who is not impregnating unwise women all over the place. Don’t be unwise. Get gone from this man. You owe any children you have a good father who is emotionally stable and has good genes, who doesn’t have a gaggle of children and baby mamas all over the place. You can have a good life or you can have a life of poverty and degradation. If you plan well and think about these things beforehand and wait til you are in a stable committed relationship to have children, then you should have a good life. This man cannot give you that.  Nigerians are as divided as never before. As a foreigner who have stayed here for years, I have never seen a divided Nigeria today as I have seen in years past, the bigotry, ethnic slurs and tribal sentiment is unprecedented. If Nigeria is not careful what happened in Rwanda would be a child's play. Take a good look at Sudan and ask yourself if push comes to shove, can the nation survive it. Many African nations look up to Nigeria even till this day, most especially North Africa, they may be developed but still look at Nigeria for certain things in their economy, do a little research and you will understand my point. I recall some years back when a country was in turmoil in Africa and they needed US Intervention, the US government stated in clear terms if Nigerian soldiers are not on ground they would not move in. Your past is part of you. People can grow and change in life but most don’t change very much. Try to find someone that can live with your flaws and see if you can accept theirs. It is lot better to start with friendship and move to lust than the other way around. Friendship carries you though the rough spots that lust won’t do very well. Is it good to know your partner's past? Past cannot be forgotten. How good or bad it maybe, It was part of our life. You simply can’t separate it. Its always better to know about your partner’s past. Obviously you don’t have to go investing about it from others. It has to come from your partners mouth. He/She should be comfortable in sharing it with you. When you know it all, Remember not to judge them based on it. Trust the person you know in present and not the one he was in past. Be supportive as it takes lot of courage sometimes to open up in front of someone else. It depends on whether the person has hidden important information or has been open about mistakes they have made so that you can make an informed decision about whether you can accept them, faults and all. For instance, most NLers has been dating women/men in their 30s recently as they split up with a long-term partner. One man turned out to have another girlfriend but she found out about the daughter and got in touch. Together they compared notes and found out that he was lying to them both. Naturally, both decided not to see him again (the two women are now friends!). Another man claimed that he was not seeing anyone else now that he’d found the perfect woman - my friend found that he was still contacting other women via the dating site on which they had met up. Whatever excuses such men give themselves, they have been dishonest from the start and cannot be trusted. Now considers a different case: my course mate is now in a relationship with a man who told her on their first date about his past. He had the same girlfriend from the age of 16 to 25 but the relationship ended because he cheated on her. This man was open about what he had done and said that it had such a negative effect, hurt his girlfriend, who trusted him so much and lost him respect among family and friends, that he had learnt an important lesson and would never behave like that again. He had made a wrong choice, acted weakly or selfishly but been open about it. It you meet someone who claims that all their exes were at fault and that he/she did nothing wrong, you should not take that claim at face value. Even if you do not know what happened in their past, you can be sure that you are getting a very distorted pictures: either this person does not acknowledge that they have any faults, which none of us can honestly claim, or they are a very bad judge of character if all their exes were awful! My long-term ex-partner was abusive, selfish and aggressive. He has a new girlfriend. If only that poor woman knew what I know about him! She should have a right to know about his past. Unfortunately, she is unlikely to listen to his ex but no doubt is finding out for herself why his last relationship did not work out… 5 Likes 1 Share |

We don't have enough specifics about the individual to make a determination, but as a rule it is not always a negative. There is nothing wrong with living with your parents at that age but it is utterly wrong if such a one has still not figured out his priorities at that point in life. There's nothing inherently wrong with an adult living in a multigenerational home with family. The British royals do it, albeit in grander residences than most. I have a relative who married a man from a wealthy family in Morroco. His main family home on an estate has “apartments” within the large structure such that the children could have their own separate apartments while growing up yet technically be living with their parents and dining together at times in a family dining room. In Hawai’i, it is pretty common. Houses are often built with a full flat or suite on ground level perhaps with a separate entrance for older relatives or an adult couple. There may be one or two stories above it depending on the layout. One of my nephews who lives there went away for college then moved back home to finish. He's working and contributing as an adult now who isn't wasting money by cramming into a tiny, expensive shared flat somewhere simply to say he doesn't live with his parents. When he is ready to buy something, he will have a solid down payment. When his parents travel, they don't have to worry about housesitters or kenneling the dogs unless all of the family is going somewhere at once. There are more hands to help with cleaning and preparing all of the meals and parties that include extended family and friends too. Are there some people whose living situation might raise a red flag? Yes. However, there are likely to be numerous other signs if the person is incapable of successfully living an adult life independently. 1 Like |
