Acidosis: Why would you spend 194k on solar that can't power ordinary laptop? Why spend 194k because of power-saver bulbs and electric fan??
This home solar unit stuff is the new scam they're selling to Africans and Nigerians in particular. You can achieve the same results by purchasing self-charging bulbs for as low as N1000 each and a rechargeable fan for N30,000, which would only cost a total of about N31,000+.
That 194K you spent on solar scam can get you a 300W Romoss Thunder power unit. With a 300W unit, you can connect your TV, router, decoder, your laptop, fan, and charge your phone. It's everywhere on Twitter. I could send you a link, where you can watch the video of how it works, pictures, and price list. You can also search online. Drop the link |

Romance › Re: My Experience Dating A High-value Woman. by Hamachi(f): 7:02am On Jun 01, 2023 |
sirjamesjnr: Yes, She won't have time for me. She doesn't have time for herself either . But trust me she always takes out her precious nap and food time, just to talk to me .
I visit her workplace she wouldn't have time to say hi also I have to sleep three nights in different hotels to be able to see her. I got angry one day and ask her, how will she take care of my kids when we marry.
When she is with me, I never want that moment to end. Our romantic life has had to suffer a lot of time because of duty calls. I have to get myself busier so I don't get emotional. she is honest and blunt, doesn’t beat around the bush. Sometimes I have to win her with a strong argument and points.
She is independent and can make life-death decisions, so I don’t feel bad if she doesn’t consult me and make some decisions highhandedly. I trust her, she good decision-maker the majority of times. For us, It’s accountability and responsibility that counts. I won't settle for less and she won't either. No room for excuses or self-pity. She has to be nice to her patients and fellow male colleagues. I don’t mistake this for flirting. Her male colleagues are there with her than I am, so I am more comfortable and carefree because I trusted her. we do know our boundaries. Most of the time she will be discussing how much she misses me with them. I have the self-confidence that helps me though sometimes I get a bit jealous. She is Superwoman without the cap all the time. So I have to decide whether to expect even more from her or be Super Man myself and share her burden a bit more.. understand her a bit more..love her a bit more.
As a doctor, she is extremely sensitive but also blunt. She knows when I need a hug and when an earful. Most of the time, she sees me as a case, desperately trying to diagnose my actions, detect my mood, I have to explain every action, etc.
She is great, very polite, courteous, intelligent, and fun and I love her effortlessly. The hard part is living with the job, the workload, the schedule, she never off duty, even when she is off duty, no time for long conversations. I already know I am committed to her and I must be committed to her job too. I need to be supportive of her, emotionally mature and have a life of my own. It has been a long ride but our relationship is thrilling. Will I choose another if given an opportunity? Only if I stop been me.
Learn from me, if you can't compromise in some area never date a high valued woman. With slay mamas wannabe, You have no issue, all you need is your time and money and you are the boss. |

slawomir: Damnnn niggar My niggar It's almost tempting to say lack of education or opportunities to make a decent living, but that would be me condoning their actions because both situations are still an issue in Nigeria. Scamming in Nigeria is a byproduct of a judgemental society. Scammers are nothing but greedy people who are trying to live up to a false image. They don't use the money to survive, they use it to live a pretend life. Nigeria has a big problem of marginalization and discrimination when it comes to social status. If you don't have this car or that house then you're a failure. Of course no one says this to your face, but you'll feel it based on how they treat you. You feel it from friends, family and even from a complete stranger. He(the society) who holds the ladder is as bad as the thief(scammers). The framing of this question is unfair to Nigerians as a whole, and that’s because of the word “culture”. Scamming Nigerians are the exception, not the rule. There is as much a culture of scamming in Nigeria as there is a culture of let’s say, xenophobia in South Africa, or a culture of homicide in the US. Scammers have inhabited the earth since the dawn of time. Nigerian scammers probably revolutionised the process but it is hardly a malaise deserving of cultural attribution. That said, I will reiterate what others have said that the scamming epidemic in Nigeria ( which is actually in serious decline since the turn of the 21st century) is merely a symptom of some other far more debilitating disease - corruption. Corruption in Nigeria goes far beyond the everyday definition you know which barely covers bribery and dishonest gain. It goes far beyond that to the realm of what Professor Pius Adesanmi aptly describes as an “ontological unfairness” of the Nigerian space which describes the ubiquitous brand of corruption that makes it inconceivable to live totally via an honest wage, or to totally be bereft of any corrupt act in your daily life. It is an almost impossible scenario, and a society like this will always have people in significant numbers who will latch on to any corrupt fad and explore it to the furthest frontiers. This is what makes Nigeria’s brand of scam look like it is a culture. It is not.People do not train their children to be scammers. If they did, that is a culture. Scam artistes, save their brash show of wealth, are still very much inconsequential in general moral coding of the society. If it was otherwise, it will be a culture. But it must be said that the abject leadership ineptitude and corruption in high places is slowly eating away the moral fabric of the society. There is gradually an erosion of consequences for corruption, mostly because the ruling class are neck-deep in it. When the trees were still the playground of the squirrels, if you made sudden wealth, people (your parents especially) will ask questions. That is no longer the case.
Parents now even tacitly encourage their wards to get rich by all means. Churches and places of worship which are the conscience of the society blatantly compete for wealth to the point of active engagement in ponzi schemes.
In the final analysis, the upcoming generation are left with the wrong incentives to respond to, which makes it harder to blame them, which exercabates the and widens the diameter of the vicious corruption circle. The malaise is dangerously getting close to the notorious toga of culture. It remains to be seen if the slide can be arrested. |
Literature › Re: Professor Ama Ata Aidoo Dies At 83 by Hamachi(f): 12:35pm On May 31, 2023 |

Politics › Re: Court Convicts Nigerian Fraudster, ‘yahoo Boy’ Of Love Scam In Kaduna by Hamachi(f): 12:31pm On May 31, 2023 |
I'm a Nigerian and I was about y years old (find x)when the word 419 became Nigeria's trade mark. Over the years I've been trying to get into the thinking mind of the scammer and the scammed (pardon those titles). It has dawned on me that it all started with what I'll term using the sympathy angle to defraud. It happens even in Nigerian streets. Practically healthy people tell you one compelling story and you fall for it out of sympathy. They scam you alright.
Why is it widespread? Nigeria is a copy cat nation full of lazy people. Criminals are boasters and when they spend their ill gotten proceeds, majority of people who know them also want in on it. That way, the scam increases. Flamboyant lifestyle by politicians and religious leaders is not helping matters too. You see your classmate who was always at the bottom of the class, without any known business, spending money as if its source never dries up, relatives and friends berate you for being ‘lazy' because you are not like this your classmate. In Nigeria, your source of money doesn't matter. A known armed robber will be given countless titles, if he can afford it.
I won't doubt that scamming is now synonymous with Nigeria. The sad truth is that only the sly and underhand live big in my country. Those who are genuinely rich are about 1% of the population. If you held government office or travelled abroad and came back to Nigeria without lots of money, your community will ostracize you forever. That's the bitter truth. |
