But if I am asked who is mostly at fault, then it's DOCTORS!
A male nurse comes to your private hospital for employment and they in a bid to safe more money employ the person and make him fill in the roles of a Doctor too. He didn't come with a medical license, he came with a nursing license.
They train quacks in the name of 'auxiliary ' nurses, some who haven't even seen the four walls of a Secondary school, can't make a proper sentence in English, but to make profit these same 'Death holes'parading as hospitals, 'train' these illiterates and encourage them to take on nursing duties. Put the life of unsuspecting patients in incapable hands.
They are everywhere around us. Quacks parading as professionals. That's why I feel so irritated when I hear Drs speaking about quackery, for goodness sake you breed these quacks! You provide the enabling environment for quackery to grow! Then come out to cry about it. That's pure hypocrisy!

I didn't have my JSS in the nineties but read most of the books outside class.

The wife was probably just there for the money, it's funny when some guys shout all a woman needs is money ( after marrying the fair weather type of woman he had enticed with money and who left when the supply is cut short, they all come together to shout about how all women are bad) .

We can't say though there might be some other hidden issues she could no longer cope with. I can't imagine suffering with and being loyal to a serial cheat for example.

I thought I was the only one thinking how crazy the nursing graduate could be. It is d height of craziness and myopism. On the University, they took the advantage of students wanting "medicine or nothing" to fraud the students. What is wrong with us in this country? Other countries are encouraging their students to study, and even encouraging them to study humanitarian courses like mbbs, nursing etc but in nigeria the reverse is d case.

Do not fault the person's choice. Nursing in Nigeria is hard to fall in love with, some people never do so they decide to go for what they feel will give them fulfillment.


The system is really bleeped up. Since they have the qualifications to be admitted into the programme, why are they being denied?

The most irritating for me is when a poor man marries multiple wives. Imagine a gate man looking like what they use to scrub the toilet having three wives cos he supposedly has high libido, I start to wonder if the women marrying him have brains at all.

A supervisor supposedly forcefully pulled off a girl's hijab (an exam in an environment with no uniform code now) but as usual our Association of hypocrites used the opportunity to insult all Muslims.
