LASTMA are robbers.

I remember plying one route in Isheri, going to Toun Dada.

I noticed these guys told a vehicle to turn, immediately baba turned, dem say na one way.
I can quite relate with this. They encouraged me one night to use the off road from FRSC office at Ojodu to turn into the street by the left 9WHere theu have Solid Rock Hospital). Unknown to me, one of them was at the other extreme and in any case it was by their express directive. Well, I gave that idiot the choice of jumping off or getting knocked down. He exercised the right choice else he would have long been buried. When I had properly parked on the right side of the road I came down to find out how many nuts had unscrewed in their heads. They said i should go with my wahala. Criminals.

Politics › Re: The Wars Yoruba Fight By Yinka Odumakin by hardbody: 11:51pm On Feb 02, 2021
Omodua:
Yinka Odumakin is a jolly fellow who believes in Southern unity to confront Fulani hegemony in Nigerian politics. Therefore, give him a break with your comments. Igbos and Yorubas to extricate ourselves from clutches of domestic neocolonialism and Fulani hegemony in Nigerian politics. For your information, South East is under siege like South West under the Fulani bandits. Raping, killing and destroying farmlands. Let's bury the hatchet and we all confront the common enemy who are Fulani invaders. Era of bitterness is gone. Thumbs up Yinka Odumakin!
This battle alone, all regions will fight their battle, same way my folks told me that the theatre of Nigerian/Biafran war was in the Biafran land mass. Amotekun will fight theirs while ESN will battle theirs. There should be no room for suggestions that hunger is a legitimate instrument of war. Our forbears allowed themselves to be fooled, we won't make the same mistake. No, not again.

Samunique:
WHEN Fulani herdsmen sneaked into Yoruba land years ago they looked harmless, simple and friendly like a week-old snake. Now, they have grown to become a big python swallowing fowls, dogs and goats.

Very soon they will outgrow that to become an anaconda swallowing men and cattle. No one would have imagined this menace 30 years ago. With the present trend of things, one can imagine the level of problems the next generation (our children and grandchildren) will face from these herdsmen. This battle should be fought squarely now.

Please no negotiation should be acceptable now. They are coming in their hundreds on a daily basis, colonising our forests and claiming them as their territories. They must leave or we live apart.
On one Nigeria i stand... grin grin grin
Education › Re: He Wants To Dump Law For English Education by hardbody: 2:07pm On Feb 01, 2021
micflo28:
read properly to understand the write up, he said he will go abroad, Asia precisely that is a non-english speaking nation to teach the subject not here in Nigeria. Can you compare a teacher's pay in Japan, China and that of Korea with that of Nigeria? Studying law and going abroad to practice it is next to impossible. He made a wise choice if he has means to leave the country with that knowledge of English language.
I just did not want to contribute to this thread but reading the last part of your post i thought I should state categorically that I beg to differ. A number of my classmates are practicing outside the country, particularly in the UK and Canada. The ones in the UK did conversion exams.

On the topic, I am tired of suggesting what people should or should not do. Let the guy study whatever makes him happy.

I am only just wondering now, what happened to all those graduates of English/Linguistics? They do not know how to get to Asia, Korea, Japan, etc?

Last Last whatever makes anyone happy they should just do it and take responsibility for their decisions abeg.

I am proudly a lawyer and will only ensure in my next world I don't dilly-dally before opting to study law again.

LoL. What is reconnaissance for in the military? And when did Orlu air space turn to a point from where the troop movements should be mapped?

Aunty leave matter. The elective i did in military strategy tells me more than what you just said. Sadly the military will strike, sooner or later but the civilian populace will be the worst for it.

One army recruit slapped me (and threatened to even waste me) so i could not return that slap. My gf then almost fought him but i knew the repercussion so i begged her to not make trouble. Whenever I hear about the death of any military man, i smile. There is enmity between me and them my offsprings and their offsprings till eternity. Like Kinta Kinte i will teach my children that the soldier is their worst enemy and they should teach their own generations unborn.

May BH continue to deal with them. The wicked shall know no peace.

My post was hidden, LOL

I only said that bridge had no issues and there is no reason supporting a claimed uplift or maintenance. They should open the bridge so that it can ease the suffering of many. I have since stopped going to the mainland except i am going to the airport to catch a flight. It should not take this long to fix a bridge that had no issue whatsoever.

God bless you too Great man.
God bless your parents for giving us a King like you.
God bless Nigeria[/quote]I don't know a thing about politics in Nigeria and I am neither for one nor the other but I can assure you that I plied that bridge till it was closed down for "maintenance". That bridge had NO SINGLE ISSUE.

How it has taken this long to fix an issue that never existed beats me hollow. Whatever they are doing, they should finish so that we can have access to ply that bridge.

ALL na scam ooo.

My Uni ( I am running a Ph.D)....advertised 150k per semester (non PG students pay as high as 400k or more per session), but there is no semester i have paid below 220k. I had projected circa 900k for the 3 years of my Ph.D (M.Phil inclusive) but inside the 4 semesters I have done already, I have paid more than N1m and I still have 2 more semesters to go, assuming they don't find a reason with my thesis to prolong my stay.

i mean after reading all the bad news and insecurity every where!

funny thing is she was even expecting others to risk their own life and come to her rescue!

at least she is alive to tell her stupid story - lots of others aint that lucky!

But truly there are so many useless people on earth and sometimes i am pushed to support Bill Gates plan to reduce the population of the earth inhabitants from 7.6 billion people made up of mostly very stupid and dumb individuals to just 3 billion intelligent folks!

this vaccine will really do the world a huge favor. at least we will have less idiots!
In line with your reasoning, you and your family and generations should go with the first batch of idiots to be eliminated. Since you and Bill Gates created them and therefore have the right to eliminate them. Rascal.

I've been there b4 very annoying place to be, the judge is the supreme, the lawyers/barristers can only but appeal to his conscience.

Change 'imbibe' to 'inculcate'

The recipient then 'imbibes'.

She should join me in the class action i want to bring against PHCN - EKEDC in particular.
