hopeful2018:Lool remember the last nationwide NLNG recruitment in 2015 nobody bothered about the portals until some few months to the announcement of this current recruitment, well you know it already all slots were long gone years before. Even this current NNPC recruitment some people are preparing to resume their guaranteed slot in a recruitment that hasn’t been concluded ![]() No harm in keeping the hope alive but no build house on top am ![]() |
Best trend on NL in a very long time. An eye opener, how resources of this Nation has been cornered and monopolized a particular group of people is enough to shed tears Nigeria is deteriorating ![]() |
Debaiz:It was because he was “white”. Does an average Nigerian know the meaning of the word “Diplomat”. Foreigner my foot, which laws do our leaders obey? Nothing i hate more than a foreign having to audacity misbehavior in my country and still claim rights. I don’t not support jungle justice but left to me that foreigner should have been burnt there and then. Yes, I said it. ![]() Foolish evil Nigerians have the guts to raise their hands and take their own brothers life over petty crimes and let this one go. I am embarrassed to be a Nigerian ![]() |
prinsam30:Hell no!!! Why wasn’t he atleast given the beating of his life. The problem with Nigeria are Nigerians, majority of Nigeria are evil and hypocritical. This is Nigeria. A man steals a phone and his fellow Nigerians burns him to death. So what happened in this case ![]() A Nigerian is shot dead point blank and they do absolutely nothing to the culprit because he is “white”. Nigerians can so hypocritical and disgusting at times. This is extremely sad, I am sure someone would be waiting for that man to come home with sustenance |
GrabHisBalls:Of course even I would protest, if i was asked to pay compulsorily for ICAN during my undergraduate days in a Federal university ![]() ... but let me see the living soul that wants to protest in Babcock/Covenant (I am sure the person must have packed his/her bag and bade his/her friends farewell) ![]() The poster was just stating a simple truth, Please lets read with an open mind. So we can all live in peace and harmony ![]() |
GrabHisBalls:Lool relax. There was no mention of “poor” in the post you quoted. The poster was just trying to say it’s compulsory for these private school students whether they like it or not unlike public schools. I think accounting is now 5 years in Babcock and Covenant, one extra year from the usual 4 years. Besides most if not all their graduates are already chartered upon finishing final year. It’s still well deserved if you ask me. |
Chelseaplus:Lool. A faction that should be crushed with an iron hand in such a way that no trace of even their dust would be found afterwards. Nigeria is fast becoming a comedy stage ![]() @Op thanks for making me laugh this early morning ![]() |
donbachi:Paul planted, Apollos watered but it was God who made it grow.......... Lmao ma mahn ![]()
|
fr3do:It is not just paranoia bro, the basis of their fear is well found. Have you ever been seen a video you didn’t make. With your face and it looked so real that you would find it almost impossible to refute. Such technology is on the rise now, just imagine what can be accomplished with such a technology in a world that relays so much on appearances. Even the faces of you and I in the wrong hands can do damage (and we never blow). Such technology has so improved that the face of a person on a Live streaming video can be swapped, now imagine the consequences of the face and voice of a top world political figure in the wrong capable hands ![]() Make my words; In the nearest future, fake news would be overtaken by deep fake videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLoI9hAX9dw |
Interrogate her about what you saw via chat (eg WhatsApp). Threaten to report the matter to your dad. Whatever she says on that platform would serve as evidence when you finally tell your dad. Proverbs 23:27b promiscuous woman is as dangerous as falling into a narrow well. Cheaters are very dangerous, I have seen multiple accounts where these kind of wives kill their husbands just to enjoy his inheritance with their lovers. Man up, act fast and save your Father’s life. Note: Nairaland guys of marriageable age with stable income mark and stay clear of the female moniker that said OP should keep shut. A word is enough for the wise ![]() |
Hmm Those whom God wish to destroy, He first makes them proud. |
They know the consequence of selling sub-standard products to their own country-men ![]() I can remember when they launch in Nigeria, I made the grave mistake of patronizing them. Thank God I didn’t put both feet in their muddy water, just to test I bought a phone of 60k only for the screen backlight of the new phone to go off (no external cause) within one month of purchase. Their nonsense Calcare dribbled me for one additional month before underpricing my phone by 50% and giving me a refund in form of another substandard Techno product. I can never forget For anyone that cares to listen DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS rather get a Samsung or Huawei or any other brand that goes through rigorous product testing. A word is enough for the wise. |
Wizgrandpa:See ahn. Before I used to question God on why he would create Hellfire; a means of eternal punishment for wicked offenses committed by some humans in their finite lives. ....but as the day go, I could see the absolute need for Hellfire. The wisdom of God is so unsearchable ![]() |
Lmao smh ![]()

Hypocrisy is deeply rooted in the blood of most Nigerians. Must you express your hate just because it’s doesn't fall into your genre of music! How different is the content/general ideology of Naira Marley’s songs to that of Drake, Lil’wayne, Rozay, Cardi B or any other artist’s song they are currently jamming up Is it because he vibes in Yoruba?! You would think the people criticizing a song for matured audience are so holy that they listen to solely Christian gospel/Islamic music smh ![]()

philips007:Wash! This coming Sunday church go still full.
|
Xtruzz:It is not looking as if anything would come out for merit folks with this present way so a new crops of stakeholders would not even matter. I utterly regret the fact that the publishers were swayed away from the newspaper publications and peaceful protests but it’s not too late. Its time the world knows that the child of the common man in Nigeria cannot get a job in any government parastatal again even with proper qualifications because of greedy men that already earn more than 95% of Nigerians but have still decided to gulp down our common wealth ![]() |
Hmm the true is the present turn is of event is reflecting Mr Ahmad Shakur in a very bad light. He held on to the so-called “Merit APL” for well over a year, why? If he is interested in merit isn’t that the first thing he was to release then watch as Stakeholders fight for the remaining? Does he want to use merit slots as bargaining chips if push comes to shove Is that why he still hasn’t released the merit APL when his tenure ends next week Monday? The picture of the kind of man this trend is painting, worries me. People, what decisive action do we take at this junction. |
Xtruzz:“promised” lool. Great God, Why does this word keep popping up. This is like the sixth time someone has mentioned it. So no show if Shakur no “promise” you anything ![]() Are we merit folks part of the unfortunate ones. God see the tears and hear the cry of your children oo. Water don over pass garri.
|
Lool. Chop life before life chop you ![]() |
Jan9:Lool you are the typical Nigerian sir. Cause you would do same doesn’t mean everyone is like you ![]() Knocking on the floor, when there is a door lol. I have nothing against your efforts, now that i know it was “well thought out” by you lol. I wish you all the best. I really hope the floor you are knocking on opens for you, brother. #OneLove.
|
Jan9:You are also talking about the ones that sang praises of the integrity of this recruitment, collected their APLs then disappeared and till now nothing don show for the common man ![]() I salute your personal absolute prerogative, continue knocking on floor jare. Carry on, the gods are behind you ![]()
|
Jan9:Lmao wetin musa no go see for gate.Brother, are these the people conducting this DPR recruitment? Is not better march up to DPR HQ to demand an answer. I am sure you are a thoughtful somebody, you should know that these people could be anybody with any phone that can browse and 10mb to spare naa. |
Fixed match! There are very few occasions where a loser earns four times what the victor receives ![]() AgreatMan:Exactly my thought, Ruiz was wide open and AJ wasn’t even fight back, It was obvious AJ was holding back aswear. Watch the clips closely.
|
misterme:Honestly, It’s time to do away with very form of quota system in Nigeria. It is same syllabus, same metric across board plus this archaic system is costing us too much. If people from a particular region fail to meet the minimum standards then that is it, they shouldn’t have any representation. |
tohyorsih2:Most people that have something to prove are either broke or they have low self-esteem. She just proved she doesn’t have the latter, I’m impressed. |
Desric:Hmm whether ademmy is wrong or Marvel68 is just tired of playing us, we have less than 30 days to find out the truth for ourselves. Chai ![]() I said it in my previous post. Once its 1st of July, It is over any next this and next that would be pure lies but I know after July sef some people would continue to hope; after all I have seen people convinced the last NNPC recruitment wasn’t over that they would be called even when a fresh NNPC recruitment had started oo lool |
Why do we have psychos in people oriented positions ![]() I don’t see anything wrong with the mail, she obviously posted the part of the conversation she thought would favor her. It obvious from the mail she didn’t do her job like she was supposed to, why withhold feedback from the applicant and leave him in limbo. The applicant has removed his mind from the matter, but she still posted his email online and thought it necessary to rant about absolutely nothing. 1) Total lack of confidentiality. 2) No respect for the applicant; she labeled him “beyond foolish” for following up with her. Really. 3) She would ignore her CEO’s recommendation for no concrete reason. Gross insubordination. Can people like this in HR positions be fired already!! ![]() Life is hard already, can we be more humane. If you think you should be revered like a god, leave earth and go pitch your tent in the realm of the gods. |
peepydelano:You sef reason am. This DPR matter as e take be never reach for son of man to vex ni.
|
adewest1999:I swear, the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this trend was Gucci ; Roughly 180k per uniform, In broad light oo ![]() |
ademmy102: Marvel68:Part of me feels @ademmy’s posts are coming from a good place. At this point who is to be believed sef, whose info concerning the second batch has been reliable/trustworthy?? The lack of transparency in this DPR recruitment is glaring, that is the only thing i am sure of at this point. We are full of hope and faith but it cannot be denied that it is not going well with this recruitment. Now all i have is regret, maybe I should have joined the whistleblowers while they were singing it. Well once it is July, i will pack my kaya and erase DPR from my mind, come July every story of next week next that would be pure sakamanje. Maybe that was the game plan; “drag the recruitment, lace it with lies and false hopes then shake them off the trail”. Its such a pity we allowed everything to turnout like this. |
kings91:This man, you and your epistles ehn lool ![]() You are making us believe it’s going to happen in the next few days at the same time you are saying its may not happen, either way you win lool This DPR matter, water don pass garri. Does anybody know anything with certainty?? Like the most important matter; when we’d be called.
