Its best you move decisively, no call, no text, cut off all forms of communication that would originate from you. Why?

I am not obliged to reply this but I will......You must be a mediocre to think everyone trying to get in through a sponsor is a dullard. If it comes to merit, I am over-qualified sef. I won't brag about my experience and qualifications here cos it wont add any dime to my bank account. I have been on this thread hoping for merit list to show up. I went out of my way to get to FCC and DPR offices just to get a clue. I was a proponent of staging a protest for the list to be released. Yes, I have someone who could have influenced my appt letter a long time ago but I chose to follow the merit way. Now, that I have chosen to explore my options, you can go hug a transformer or jump into the nearest pond to show your grievance. I owe you nothing and I am not behind your misfortune. Step out of your comfort zone and build connections too. And if you wish to stick by merit too, wait for it without being stvpid. If you quote me again, I will descend so low to your level just to show you no one has a monopoly of stvpidity. Cheers!

Is it still possible to lobby one's name into the stakeholder's list at this point or will it be a fruitless effort? (I mean, can new letters be issued in the SH list?).

I'm thinking of exploring other options as I'm already losing hope on the merit list.

I don’t want to reveal much for now. Take my advise, ask someone to help check your name on the list ASAP. If your name isn’t on the list, quickly seek for help. Now is the time!!!. There’s a lot going on right now.

I have confirmed how many slots my state got and I have confirmed there is one slot for the position I applied for on the list. The only challenge I'm having is knowing the name of that person that got the slot. But I should cross that bridge today.

Talk about descending to a new level of filth . So now is the time to find the person got the job on merit and remove his name right. I don’t even blame you guys. when the head is sick, the whole body is sick.

I am glad the world is witnessing this, a major regulatory body that has not left a single strand of integrity. We are just waiting for Mordecai Danteni Baba Ladan and Ahmad Rufai Shakur to blow the final whistle, then come and tell the world that they conducted a free and fair recruitment.

We have nothing to lose. With time all would be known, you that deludes yourself into thinking that you got it on merit, you would know the persons that had the highest scores from your state, that should have been picked for the departments you applied to. Alot would happen, you wait. Lets enjoy the show.

There are some powerful stakeholders and retiring dpr staff that were promised their children will be employed but were sidelined, they are now on dpr management neck, where do you think they will get slots to settle them if not from the merit list?

Anybody with a functioning brain should know this already. The fact that DPR held on to APL of merit list (especially the non-science) that has been signed ever since speaks volume.

Yes. You really have to be patient with them. They will contact all the successful ones. I don’t have anything to say about the location of letters but just have your phone close to you. I explained everything already, those that received their letters were stakeholder candidates and few merit candidates that had sponsors that helped them pick up their letters. It’s worth the wait.

I was told today they are dispatching some letters but i kept asking shouldn't the people be notified atleast since they have started giving people already- there was no concrete response. Alot of people on this thread have gotten letters but wont say anything because of how they got it. I'm getting mine today but truthfully i wasn't officially contacted so i don't think there have been any official sms/emails etc. I'm hoping more people on the thread testify soon. . I dont hav info on EH but I'm sure we would know on the thread too when they start handing out their letters. I really wish everyone the best

letters are not being dispatched. They are being picked up. Truth of the matter is people that have posted theirs here today most likely have a DPR staff that collected it for them. It was handed over to the 1st lady, the other guy too said he met it on the dining table LOL. You'd also notice they got it after close of work when their source must have closed and probably dropped it off on his/her way home. I'm not certain if they contacted all the GTs officially yet but i really don't want to believe they have and more people here haven't testified. So lets just keep hoping for the best. Tomorrow is another good day to get APL. Wish you all the best.

Thanks, this has calmed my nerves a bit but still notifications cost next to nothing. Emails are free, sms is cheap; with less the N1,600, all successful candidates can be notified once. See as people wey sabi person dey collect from side yet the rest don’t know their status, what kind of PR is that generating for this recruitment.

I just really hate when people carry out sensitive tasks without thinking-through. Wa-lie the vexation no wan allow me sleep.

I think what the poster was trying to tell us was “his own” personal way of conditioning his body to prayers.

For instance, a great man of God “Charles Finney” (I think), walked around during his prayers. His reason was that he could fell asleep on his knees but if he fells asleep while walking he was sure to hit the ground hard restoring him to consciousness to continue his prayers lol.

Well till the poster clarifies, I think that was the message he was trying to pass. Everyone has what works for them in this regard.
