I met this fantastic guy over a year ago, but i was in a long-term serious relationship so i turned him down. We lost touch until a few weeks ago when a friend of mine mentioned that a friend of hers was looking for husband. I always thought he would make a great husband so i recommended him. I Sent pictures and his social media handle for her to check him out. She found him suitable and didnt mind that he has a young child. They asked me to contact him and determine his interest level in and if he already has someone.

I asked him to call me and when he did, our conversation was like we had not slipped a day at all. It flowed effortlessly and he expressed his desire for me to give him a chance since i am now single. I told him the reason i contacted him and he said he is only interested in me. I thorougly enjoyed our conversation and want to take it further with him. But how do i break it to my friend now that it wont happen with her friend and him? I feel a sting of guilt. I initally made the recommendation with a very clear conscience because i am still nursing my breakup and didnt see myself in another relationship now.

just tell them you gave him her contact and you don't know why he didn't call or that he is not interested. Don't let something good pass you by for someone else, they won't do same for you so stop feeling guilty.

@Op,acquiring a Masters Degree is not a waste of time,you might not get the benefit now but someday in the future an opportunity will present itself and one of the requirements might be "candidate must be a Masters Degree holder".

As regard scholarship,there are some scholarships that are fully funded(Eg. Chinese Government Scholarship,Taiwan Government Scholarship,I think Korean Government Scholarship etc,just make your research).

We have PTDF Scholarship,DAAD Scholarship,MasterCard Scholarship,NDDC(which is open presently)and lots of others you can find online.
Not forgetting Federal Scholarship Board/BEA Scholarship.

Please is the NDDC scholarship only for those from Niger Delta?

Hello dear, am in almost the same situation just that I blew mine up and full of regrets, after showing green light he had already lost interest
Let me try and help you out here step by step:
1) stop contacting him, no calls or text, just keep to yourself.
2) when you see him just say hi and don't stop to discuss anything with him, look not interested, if your with your friends look happy and smile with them.
3)always make sure u look good always and confident.
4) find a hobby, find something u love doing and be happy.
5)try and stop thinking about him, yes it's hard but just try and accept that not everyone will like you. It sucks right? Yeah I know.
6) open yourself up to meeting New people, go out have fun and you might just get another crush who digs you.
7) know that you only feel this way because you haven't dated him, he isn't perfect even if he looks like brad Pitt, there are so many good men out there dying for your love.
pray to God and pour out your heart cry if u have to.
9) always remember that time heals all wounds and in some years time u would regret regretting this when u meet the love of your life. Such is life dear, try all this and trust me u would be so much better. God bless.
