L u c i d:If you humanize, you will marry harlot. If nobody pays them will they indulge in prostitution. Men I guess are at fault and not ASUU |
Nonsense. Out of thousands of female student, na how many you interview? Why don't you talk about those doing their research, helping their parents at home, doing real part time work and so on. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. I hope you are not a customer. AIDS is real oooo. |
This is the same woman whose company is said to be involved in fuel subsidy scam. I hope she is not fronting for some big men in government. Sahara Reporters, bring more information for us. Tell us about Deziani the petroleum minister. |
Ndi Anambra: Yoruba people are just so angry with Igbos making waves in Jonathan's government. Jealousy go kill them all.Only primary school drop outs think like you. What happens if all Ministers, Senators, Govs and their deputies do the same. Stop tribalism. This is pure misappropriation. We all shouted when Farouk received 630,000 dollar bribe. So stop thinking this way. This is the same country that struggled to pay salaries in August and September. Common lets join hands and fight against bad leadership. |
Abariwiseman: we know some media houses from the SW part of the country are doing everything to pull this woman down, all because the aviation ministry has been taken over by the easterners. but when fani-kayode erroded the aviation industry with his SW brothers and sisters, we did not hear any rotten stories that was going on inside the ministry then.Close your mouth misappropriation is misappropriation. Its wrong to do so. If we are told that the one president Obama uses cost 300,000 dollars, her going for those cars don't make sense. Empower our security agents, put CCTV around the country and provide jobs for the people. She doesn't want to be kidnapped I guess. |
There are about 40 ministers in the cabinet. If all of them go this way of 255million it will amount to 10.2billion. The 450 (approximate) National assembly members going for the 800,000 dollars cars @ one each will amount to 59billion naira. State governors, deputies, Special assistants in presidency, and state commissioners approximately (600) @ 800,000 = 78.7 billion. The 774 LG chairmen going for one each = 102 billion summary. 10.2 + 59 +78.7 + 102 billion = 248.9billion this is more than the annual budget of more than 80% of most states in Nigeria. This is what corruption has been doing. You might say at least they haven't bought it, but I can tell you convincingly that this is how it starts and it leads to competition among politicians. Just see the trend of private jet now. if you don't have one you don't belong. They are milking this nation dangerously. It is well, |
nnenna.1:Good. Where those cars in the budget of the aviation ministry? After some chaps will be crucifying ASUU. |
2 days can't kill him. At least some people fast 7days straight without water. |
It's like the market women threat is working. FG don't won't to see nude mothers protest. It will be worst this time around, because we now have a global world. Before you say stop, you tube, Facebook, nairaland, twitter and all of them done circulate the information round the world. Thank God they want to avoid embarrassment. |
I said this on this forum before, that the strike will most likely be called off after the Sallah break. Good one by FG, now they are talking. |
Which school is Yinka Gbadebo in, what course is he studying, what level is he and when will he graduate? Most student this days graduate at 18-24 years old but that guy looks 35-40. Is his education so slow? Or was he selected based on his age? I need sincere answers. The best answer will receive a reward on this platform |

Mind you the government is not doing ASUU a favor with 130billion it is only doing what it supposed to do. If 30billion of earned allowance is what you don't like, I'll honesty like to employ you give you an appointment letter and willfully not pay you for 4years and 4months. Complaining to you that, you are not the only one I employed. |
gcfr.com:Which Nigerian has a PhD and is without work? Keep deceiving yourself. |
maclatunji: Bariga-Shomolu-Fadeyi axis is really something in Lagos.just by google search of shomolu, bariga cult fight, you will be amazed with what you'll read |
Wastage in high places. Their previous houses, we were told was sold to them. I remember during the hot case of Bankole (former speaker), there was a write up that the president gave them the first option to buy their residence as a political reward to his 2011 candidature. The write up said Bankole purchased his house for 100million and was now renting it out to the new speaker for 40million per annum. So why are they building new houses. Just imagine a resident that cost about 400million each for 4 people? How much will be used to maintain it and you much will they use for feeding like ASO rock. |
agabaI23: UNIBEN paid a year and half earned allowance. It is no secret. Some received over a million while some under. I was reliably informed that the least paid received 700k.how did you know? |
No source. Amebo news |
That's why I like Nkem Owoh a.k.a. Ukwa. His song goes like this. Agreement is agreementeeee oooooo (2X) He don reach time for settlement, you come dey tell me nonsense AGreement is agreementeeeee oooo AGREEMENT. |
castrokins: You should ask ASUU how they expend TETFUND. What cause are they fighting for? After years of funding through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, can you say for a certainty that objectives of the fund were/are met?Don't go there. Do you know that the 100billion Suswan claim to have raised was from TETFUND? Why will you agree a thing and refuse to budget it? Why ate we spending billions on election that will never be free and fair? Why will the government be preparing 1.5trillion for a census to count goats and chicken in the north to increase allocation? Aside TETFUND, all state and federal universities would have revolted long ago. In fact as it was said by some one some state universities are worth to be named TETFUND universities. |
Conceptz: yes, but the money will yield interest if given to a businessman to do business till they resolved their issuesSo you want Dangote to collect the money again. Can someone tell me which building Dangote has donated to any school? If its PDP rally now, he will donate 1billion because he knows how to get it back by govt policy. That man smart oh, he has started campaigning for the use of cement to construct roads. |
Omooba77: You can google the cost of those equipment and als factor in some contingency; it is stil a far cry, but like I said earlier, most of the money would have gone to kick backs and settling omo onile and agberos......................Whatever, as far as it is a good project that outweighs food for ask rock at 1billion per annum. Which means after 4 years the presidency would have eaten rice and other food products worth 4billion |
Mikano in trouble. 70 generators are leaving. Diesel suppliers are threatened, no more contract as usual. if each generator consumes a minimum of 1million per annum (cost of diesel and maintenance. Of course a far underestimation, as most of us know what it cost to run diesel generators in Nigeria) then 700 million will be saved. I bet you that they can't use more than 100millin for both maintenance and gas supply to the new plant. So 600 million is saved and if you multiply this by 5 years, it implies the state has 3 billion saved which is about the cost of the plant. If the state decides to unction the generators to my beloved traders at 1million naira each that will amount to 70million naira which will pay the salaries of a local government in a month. I remember that Odili did something like this in Rivers state. If all our leaders from 1999 has done a little of this, we would have been progressing gradually. Which other state has taken such initiative and brought it to fruition. |
ayusco85: Why the comparison? U shld compare nigerian lecturers salaries of with that of other countries lecturers salary. It will be A̶̲̥̅ more fairer comparisonAsk yourself if it is fair to have a minimum wage of 18,000 naira as a nation and someone else is taking 29million. don't be deceived that wide gap will forever be a problem in this country unless its been addressed. Do they generate income or ideas like Dangote group CEO who was earns 18Million montly? If yes, then give it to them. |
If this salary analysis of the senators is true, it literally means that a senator earns 5 times the annual salary of a professor montly. the per annum of a Prof is below 6Million including all allowances. Reference google CONUASS II and check grade 7. while a senator takes 29million plus montly if his or her salaries is consolidated |
3kay945: How Many ladies here want A MINUTE MAN?As far as he did not commit suicide |
buffenuff: We don't see state and local governments workers, state school teachers going on strike. Why? Because they know they have to get the job done. These lecturers should all be sacked, everyone of them. Bring in fresh 21st century lecturers. All these lecturers are too old school for these generation, they teach you programming only on the board and by the book but when you give them your laptop to show you example, they can't do shit. ASUU should be shut down. What's their job anyway. The only time I hear about ASUU is when they wanna strike. Let every university hold their side, if any lecturer has an issue, let them sort it out with the VC. You don't hear about oxford and cambridge lecturers going on strike. As foolish as you are you are comparing our university welfare and infrastructure with Oxford and Cambridge where lecturers earn a minimum of about 15- 20kpound montly. I'm sure you are a trader else you would have known that NUT went on a national strike on teachers salary for more than 3 months on thier 27% Teachers peculiar allowance in which some states are still picketing once a while over non payment. E.g Kogi |
Tintedliz: I went 2 an al galz skul n it made me 2 self concious wch rili affected ma mixing up wiv pipu.it also encourages lesbianism.I went to an all boys school and I'm not a gay. But your comment is suspicious of your person. Finding it difficult to mix up!!!!!!!! Na WA oooo. Abi you don won loose tay tay before your parent go put you for all girls school. |
Infomizer: I don't know why xtian folks should have a problem with the hijab thingy? I mean, isn't it a decent form of dressing? I'm no muslim tho', just on the side of reason here. I really don't understand why folks can't afford to coexist and tolerate each other. In our own country? SmhGive hijabs to your sisters and mother to wear. Must you impose a religious lifestyle on another religion. |
Very Good |
gboss4sure: The best system is to make the university's independent of the Government, Let every School run the school from the money they generates. For Christ sake this people make millions from students every year. If not for corruption they money made from students cam be used to run each school effectively.Really, then you would have had several private universities in Nigeria today. Ask your self what makes private Universities charge up to half a million or more as fees? What makes Nigerians pay 1million plus in Ghana to study. Tertiary education and education generally does not come cheap. Have you considered why some private primary and secondary schools can pay their teachers 150k montly while others struggle to pay 20k montly; it all buoys down to the funds available. |
