fmc1:That's incorrect. Nigerian Soldiers have been the most involved and dedicated to the fight agaist Boko haram. When they (BH) run to Chad, Cameroon and Niger, there is a limit you can take the fight to an Ally's territory. The Lockdown all over the world is an advantage to crush Boko Haram in which all the nation's involved are clamping down on them seriously. NIGER and Nigeria lost several soldiers recently but they have still not retreated. It's now an offensive fight from the nation's involved to clear them off their hiding places. The lockdown will make them have no supplies in terms of weapons and other logistics |
Ed12:Is January 30 to December 1 = one year If you were an employer would you pay for work between Jan 1 and 29 that an individual didn't work with you? Would you pay full December salary for an employee that resigns on the 1st of December? |
pode:Do you have an idea of how much he will pay for agreement and commission and how much it will take to relocate and renovate the new apartment? |
femi4:Does it mean you celebrate your birthday every 13 months |
Saao:Do you mean MURIC? |
In this days of COVID-19, please don't just pick up animals with your bare hands. Protect yourself and others |
sinkhole:That's one of the reasons ASUU is saying no. How can you be risking your life travelling to Abuja in the Nigerian of today over salary issues. Where is the issue of decentralization? Where will they sleep in Abuja? Who will feed them there? What if there cases aren't attended to and they have to go again? Is it someone, that hasn't taking salary that will be traveling about? Then the real man no man will begin to show up. Pay __K and you will get it done in 48hours. Is that how we move from under developed country to developing country not to mention developed country ?? |
Realadey:No be only craze. He done kolo |
dallyemmy:In which University? |
tsephanyah:Stop fooling yourself. The guy wouldn't have gone to court with all this your supposed explanation for the DSS and the first family. How come a simple issue like that took that long and the guy was never charged to court by the DSS. They messed up in this case. They should have apologized to him and pay him compensation on their own (sure that the guy asking someone for 5k will jump at an opportunity of 500k from DSS as compensation for unlawful detention) It's another case not handled properly. Now it's an headline everywhere and also bringing embarrassment to the first family |
HigherEd:I don't agree with you. Several FG universities won different centers of Excellence grants, last year. TETFUND should stop making noise up and down. You can imagine applying yearly for conference grant both foreign and local and you never get any for the past 8 years won't you feel there process itself is a scam. Every year you attach 2 passports don't you feel people will get tired if they don't see transparency in how they select who gets the grants. Kudos to them on NRF funds, however if you have about 100 application from a University and only 1 or 2 are granted because of qouta system and geopolitical spread, why come to the public and say people are not applying? For those corrupt persons, what measures has TETFUND taken to stop them or make them pay back. Imagine applying for 1million soft reasearch grant this year and you get approval next year and funds are not released till after 6months. How are they working to tackle bureaucracy? Cost differences in dollars, taxing of research items for University researchers by Customs etc, it's even worse when you use ur salary to import needed items for research and they bring bill for customs charge to you as if the item is for buisiness. They had better run workshops with stakeholders in each schools and find out how to improve on theirselves rather than go spend taxpayers fund in Dubai. However, I commend our little start but they can do better, they can borrow ideas from South Africa and India on how they run thiers. Enough of noise making Nigerians it's time to work. NOTE: For all grants the researchers have their own percentage as honorarium, so the question is not that there are no ideas it's more that there are no FUNDS or the process for receiving the fund is not clear or full of unnecessary bottlenecks. We have researchers traveling in and out of the country yearly for fellowships, Post doctoral researches etc and also receive grants from NIH here in Nigeria. if they do it well outside the country and also administer NIH grants and others well here in Nigeria. Then, that should tell you that there is a problem at Home (TETFUND). |
visijo:Abraham ke? Which Kain church you dey go? |
247naijamedia:Why call a Prof a Senior Lecturer? Graduate Assistant Assistant Lecturer Lecturer II Lecturer I Senior Lecturer Associate Professor/Reader Professor This is the ranking in the University for Academics. So a professor can not be a Senior Lecturer at the same time. |
mistijude:Exactly, mine was on a Saturday morning, Jan 11. Card not missing but items bought on eBay. Thank God I just paid children's school fees two days before then. So they met very little. I however blocked the card, called customer service, reported to the bank on Monday, contacted the person to cancel the order (but I guess he is working together with the theif, as the seller on eBay is yet to reply to my several emails), I await bank response within 45 days. Everyone should know the codes to hotlist their card. Don't wait for a second alert just block it once you see it. |
Rest in Peace Juwon Awe. A brother, A Kogite from Mopa, Full of life, very respectful, struggled and hustled as a young Nigerian. Always cracking me up with jokes and has a popular saying " Anu ni elese nje". Adieu my brother. The wicked world took you away from us abruptly. |
Anyone noticed that Alhaji Lai Mohammed has stopped talking.............. this way Ebenezerk2: |
MISTAICEY02288:That 850 pound in 4weeks is more than 3 Nigerian Professor's salary put together for one month. |
Na wa o, even people who never steeped into university will make comment. Sha thank God for social media. You should know by now that the Academics form about 1/3 of the work force of most universities and others are Support staff (SSANU, NASU and NAATS) Mouthgag: |
-Exercising in the morning will help you burn calories all day long Fact: your body will quickly return to its pre-workout metabolism rate, so you may only burn an extra 10 to 25 calories after your workout is over. - [b]Exercising 15 minutes a day, 3 days a week is enough for good health Think again! People need a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise at least 3 days a week. And that means working up a sweat. |
J111333:In Europe, you have heaters in your rooms, trains, buses and offices. Here in Nija (Jos), they don't have those essiential needs to combat cold. They seal up windows, burn firewoods and charcoal, refuse to bath untill it's noon, they don't have regular power supply etc. If Nigeria experiences 0 degree generally for 2 weeks then Nigeria will have had a big share of Natural disaster. Because it will wipe out so many homeless and poor people. Many will develop Pneumonia. |

Soulsymbol99:The people can begin to clamour and push for him and the likes in 2023. |
Nukilia:My thought as well. A careless electric cable somewhere could lead to this. However, if there were other people swimming at same time then electrocution can be ruled out. On a lighter note, do people swim during winter? Does the pool has heater? I think Ayeparty might be involved. |
mrvitalis:He doesn't take official salary and so are many top RCCG pastors I know. Even Oyedepo stopped taking salary since the late 80s. He also doesn't get royalty on his books and tapes. Read their books, you will understand. " The secret of Great Men are in their stories". |
autonomous22:Kudos jare. Because beer was mentioned nobody remembers anything again. How about diluting soft drink with water? Is it the same sugar content? Or diluting agbo jedi with water? The concentration will drop definitely and it will become more tolerable for the body than loading it with very high concentrations at once. |
payperpost:Abeg tell them. They don't know how to understand what they read. |
OlujobaSamuel:Seems to me you are the first person that read the write up well. Bringing in all states and LGA's will mess the system up further. It will look like those of unity schools where I must have someone from Zamfara or Sokoto admitted as long as he has at least 200 in the admission. |
References:How can total valid votes cast be more than accredited voters? 885 VS 542 INEC Chair and officials as well as Judges has returned us back to Stone age. They should just cancel the CARD READER it's of no use. |
Iamgrey5:Who are the Nupe's, Koton karfe's and Fulani's voting? |
justflow1:In addition, that is also one of the Brian child of ASUU struggle in the 90s. When IBB called it ETF to include secondary and primary schools. However, ASUU continued her pursuit until it was appropriately named TETFUND. Most projects in state and federal Universities today are from TETFUND. |
The blind calling the person who can see blind. Is it the same FG that is struggling with 2009 agreement with ASUU that you want ASUU to trust totally? FG should create the platform that captures ASUU's concerns and their allowances and see if they will not embrace it. gaetano: |
