Brooklyn Nets player. Cash sufficient, and certainly doesn't look like a love drunk wussie. Guess it must be a case of friend zone by choice (on the man's part).

Now that's always a sweet friend zone arrangement. When a man initiates it because that's how he wants it.

Not so bad. A fool at 30 isn't condemned to being a fool forever. There is still hope.

You still have 10 long years to eschew tomfoolery and locate the path of wisdom; otherwise, you're lost forever.

Na wa o. Marriage isn't supposed to be a prison na, especially for men. You can't reverse engineer nature and expect a man to be with only one woman all his life in the name of marriage. And if they tell women to either stay single or put up with a polygamous minded husband they would refuse the single option. They want to have their cakes (marry) and eat it too (prevent the man from 'expressing' himself). It simply cannot work.

The thing is not pragmatic and definitely not realistic. Time to renegotiate this so-called institution. If King Solomon, with his 1000 women (wives, concubines, Bleep buddies, and everything in between), made it to the coveted heaven that even eunuch monks didn't make, then what other inspiration does a man need to do the needful?

Sexual frustration has really set in for the woman. This might really be what is causing her anger, as the husband is not satisfying her sexually, she lost total control and went on an uncontrollable rant and was abusing her husband. I wonder if she is experiencing a hormonal imbalance, estrogen, somewhat like the hen that chases away another hen that is lying on top of eggs it had laid, just to claim it.
The woman should have sat with her husband to discuss the above issue, as things like fruits (carrots, bananas, date palm, plaintain), good excersise(jogging, skipping, lifting little weights), good pre-intimacy and sexual technique can help him overcome the problem of weak sexual performance.
The above is true for most couples as they, always fail to discuss their sex lives, which is very important.

The unfortunate biological truth is that, for most men, sex (and the desire for it) does not happen in a psycho-emotional vacuum. With all the strife, unpleasantness, marital problems, difficulties, pent up grievances, wife's bad behaviour etcetera, it is difficult for most men to be attracted enough to their irritating wives to achieve or sustain an erection for sex.

I certainly have a VERY low threshold for feminine bullshit, and my dick goes limp and stays limp when my mind isn't at peace with a woman for any reason, even if she's the sexiest woman in the world. If the woman fails to retrace her steps and she interprets this as poor sexual performance, na she sabi. I wouldn't even deign to look at her naked body sef, not to mention attempt any form of intimacy with her. My poisoned mind would send all sorts of poisonous signals downward to my proud dick, ordering it to stay limp and remain so for as long as the object of irritation (the annoying woman) is within sight.

So that's it. It's all a very complicated and vicious cycle. The woman's bad behaviour must have tuned off the man sexually, further frustrating her. Unfortunately, women like her always think that a man can just press a button in his brain and his dick would rise to the occasion. It doesn't work like that.

I totally agree with you bro.

I have a first-hand experience of what Evaberry is saying with my former gf.

She would do some things that would make the most cool-headed guy loose it.

In situations like this, I get out of the scene. No phone calls, no contact until she eats the humble pie to beg.

Then, she will say somethings like (1) I gave her the silent treatment - a man is not supposed to do that.(2) she did what she did - because she is a lady.

I will be like so because you are a lady, you are qualified to do whatever pleases you while you expect me to rub your ego, abi?

I've moved on ever since sha.

Lady, females love eating their pie and having it.

I pray that we will never marry a lady who will send us to our early grave.

Haha. That's why I laugh in scorn whenever I see some stupid 'feminists' here insist that a man should never lift his finger on a woman no matter what. That he should just walk away.

Follow their advice, and the same foolish girls would accuse you of being immature for keeping 'malice' with them. That why should you give them silent treatment. That it isn't manly, and that it is better for you to react and show your displeasure, than to 'keep malice' with them.

Can you imagine these people? Go left, you're doomed. Go right, you're doomed. Stay still, you're finished. Which way is the way to go with women, for goodness sake?

Physical violence usually doesn't end with a damage to the body. It equally damages the soul.
Do you think the real victims of domestic violence only suffered a burst kidney, a broken tooth or head?
They are equally damaged emotionally. Physical violence doesn't just coexist on its own. It's usually accompanied by emotional damage to the soul.
But you still cannot rate both as same. Even by law. The law isn't concerned if you're insulted and called names. If you can't take such shit, then walk away forever and say never again. But she's very much concerned about having mad people roaming about using their fists and weapons to damage others when such fists could have come in handy in Sambisa.

If you ever live with a woman,if you check the tongue properly ,you will see a blade there.
Most women bridle their tongues however, especially if you are a husband who is patient and do not stir up strife unnecessarily.
There are bad tempered men who vent their anger and frustrations on the one who is most available to them........the wife and in some cases the children.
From my experience, the kind of men you described get the worst treatment, and they end up bottling their frustration until it boils over one fateful day and they kill someone.

The baba alaye, easily offended, often quick to 'para', quick to 'demonstrate' husbands typically have the most long-suffering wives who control their naturally running mouths.

Nature abhors a vacuum, like the saying goes.

No need to be too patient or tolerant with these Naija women. They are women. Let them do the 'patienting'.

very few men are victims of domestic violence. Women always bear the brunt of a man's anger

No matter what a woman says or does, a man should never hit her, a man is physically stronger than a woman so hitting her will inflict serious physical damage, whereas a woman may not cause any real harm to a man.

Op the husband in your write Up should have quietly left the compound and go relax somewhere until he was sure his wife had calmed down. when a woman is angry she throws all reason and caution to the wind, it therefore falls on the man to be understanding and reasonable

Engaging in a fisticuffs with a woman is wrong and should be condemned.

This is the most foolish comment in the history of commenthood.

Yeah sure. The APC has 15.2 million members. Out of this number, 15.1 million are cattle wandering nationwide from North to South West, while the remaining 100,000 are human beings with cow brains.

APC = A Party of Cattle....

A party with cow philosophy and cow-ish mentality. That's not a party to rule the almost 200 million human beings in Nigeria.

Amaechi won pdp primaries and was qualified to contest for the rivers governor ship election . Then evil men that doesn't want his progress decided to change the goal post at the middle of the game. They removed him illegaly and brought in a man that didn't contest in the primaries. Trust me amaechi went to court cos he is a law abiding citizen and won the case upto supreme Court. That was hope the man that got to power via the back door was removed and replaced with the owner of the mandate. I am saying all this cos some of you endomie children are so gullible that you don't ve sense of history. You forget easily. Now will any man be angry with a man that refuses to give up on his mandate? Only a mad man should be against justice

You're quite foolish.

Amaechi 'won' which primaries? From where? How?

The same powers that GAVE him the ticket, also asked him to withdraw, in line with the usual under the table shadowy arrangements that propped him up in the first place. Yet you're here talking rubbish. Amaechi was a NOBODY before Peter Odili unfortunately picked him up from the dirtiest gutter. The same Peter Odili made and sustained him as Speaker. The same Peter Odili did the background work to make him win the primaries. Following new developments, the SAME Peter Odili asked him to step down and then brought someone else (Celestine Omehia) to replace Amaechi as PDP Flag bearer. Only for Amaechi to betray his GOD (which is what Odili essentially was to him) and abuse court processes to claim a mandate that he never deserved in the first place.

We're talking politics here - not some stupid, opportunistic, clever by half legalism.

Like I said in my previous post, I blame Peter Odili for being such a poor judge of character. Without Peter Odili's unfortunate mistake of rescuing Amaechi from the gutter where he belongs, Amaechi today would have been a random nonentity.

Many people are poor judges of character. Not me.

Looking at Amaechi's Brutus-esque, Judas-esque face, any sensible person simply shouldn't trust such a man with such monumental favours. I indict people like Peter Odili especially. Peter Odili's judgment stinks to high heavens. Amaechi isn't the kind of person you entrust with so much... Making him your PA, the HOA Speaker for eight years, empowering him, and ultimately paving the way for him to become governor. To what end?

It rankles.

Whatever the action you might want @op to take, talking on the matter is the first step. Except that I didn't see any suggestion (better or worse) from your comment.
Well, I'm not sure what a man would want to talk about with a cheating wife. The evidence of her cheating is there - stark, recorded for posterity, thus immortalising her lack of virtue for generations unborn

. What exactly would you talk about? Ask her why she did it (doesn't matter at this point), give her a chance to apologise and seek forgiveness? Ask her what she wants you to do to prevent her from cheating henceforth? Or what exactly?

The point is to do to her exactly the same thing you would do if you caught her butt naked with another man. There's really no need for long talk.

I have a low threshold for nonsense.
I will confront her immediately. Get her to call that admirer of hers on phone in my presence and tell him plainly by herself to stay away from her.
And then i will tell her in very clear terms, that the day she so much as look in the direction of another man, she is leaving my house for good, and without my child.
I am being cuckolded in my own home, i would be too furious to even say i want to waste my time investigating or petting her.
In the good old days, it is not romance that stops female infidelity, it is the fear of the consequence. Too many weak men nowadays that their wives have no single fear.
A healthy dose of fear is not a bad thing.

Well spoken.

See the foolish weak men here making excuses for the woman. Oh sit her down, talk to her, flirt more with her, tel her sweet words, pamper her, find out what she's missing and try and do it for her so that another man wouldn't do it for her... Blah Blah motherfucking Blah!

There's a lot wrong with the sissies of nowadays called 'men'. Your so-called wife that you went through hell to marry and maintain is cheating on you, and instead of doing what you should do, you allow yourself to be blackmailed into conciliatory mode. Well, to each his own.

Yeah, I know that situation. Someone very close to me retired from a top public service position with nothing. And I'm talking about a highly lucrative public sector job, where most of his peers are billionaires, and even many of his juniors are filthy rich.

He simply refused to do the needful while still in service, relying only on his measly salaries and entitlements...Only to retire into the real, unpleasant world where people recognise and worship nothing else but money.

The scorn, opprobrium, and utter disdain that society (including his family members and relatives) have for the man knows no bound, as they now have to struggle for survival like ordinary masses in today's difficult Nigeria - because their breadwinner 'wasted' the chance to secure their future for them.
Nobody cares that this man is the most shining example of honesty, contentment, and godliness you'll ever see.

That's the country we live in.

This your story sweet well well.

Married women are the easiest to get. And I don't mean recently married girls. Those ones are still caught up in their faithful forever after delusion.

Give them 3-10 years in marriage, after two or three kids, and 90% of them would be too easy for the average adventurous playboy to sweet talk and sleep with.

I often tease them and flirt with them for 'research purposes' and my findings often leave me shaking my head in pity.
