Atiku is a leader. Talks like a leader. Behaves like a leader. Carries himself like a leader. Has the pedigree and background of a leader. He is conciliatory, wise, balanced, and dignified in his approach to thorny issues. The heavy cap of leadership fits him better than the odious Fulani idiot currently wearing borrowed robes in Aso Rock. I hope Nigerians would do the needful when the time comes to install a leader in 2019. |
TEYA:Lol. Intellectually malnourished mumu. |
dulux07:I am saying that it is commonsensical to PRIORITISE when resources are scarce. The time, resources, and effort wasted on pursuing these rats and prosecuting them would have yielded more meaningful results if channeled towards thwarting some corruption going on at one government institution or the other. The latter would produce greater benefits for ordinary Nigerians. This is very simple. What's why I asked what the staff strength of the EFCC is (as well as what their operational budget might be). Priorities. |
TEYA:You're pretty stupid if you think that yahoo boys and their petty online schemes are a bigger problem for Nigerians than government and private sector corruption. So because you are among the 1% of Nigerians privileged to travel outside the country, your own concern is about the treatment you get from foreigners? How about the millions of Nigerians back here at home whose lives are made miserable by government corruption? That's not an issue I guess, because smug hypocrites like you are more interested in being treated like royalty abroad...for what exactly? As long as resources are limited (as they certainly are), then the EFCC must prioritise! Which is the bigger priority? Chasing after yahoo boys or chasing after those who steal billions of Naira meant for improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians? That is the essence of my argument. |
What is the staff strength of the EFCC? Because I don't think it makes sense to waste scarce manpower and resources chasing rats, when there are real issues and bigger problems to focus on. Millions of young Nigerians are into Internet fraud anyway, and insofar as they are not an immediate threat to the security and wellbeing of the country, the EFCC should focus on the humongous corruption going on in every government institution (at state, federal and local government levels) as well as the massive corruption in key private institutions such as banks. These are more injurious to the average Nigerian citizen than petty Internet hustles by frustrated youths. |
This is getting ridiculous. Some of us know this game, and are practitioners but this no longer makes sense. This over hyping of Abakaliki on Nairaland is now nauseating, especially for those who have seen - and seen through - the ridiculously small village-like Abakaliki "city". Abeg tell us something important and forget all this Abakaliki this and Abakaliki that noise. I wonder how much Umahi and his PR goons are paying Seun for this madness. |
CecyAdrian:Almost a year later, do you still hold this opinion? |
The solution is the P Diddy solution. Have one baby mama for all your babies, and then remain single and live your life happily ever after! Side note, I hope Diddy doesn't end up marrying that girl called Cassie. He must not make that mistake at this stage. With four biological children (and one adopted jara) from one baby mana, you're more than okay in that regard. Marriage and 'love' is a big scam, worldwide. Next thing she will start opening eye and looking for divorce settlement like the thief that they all are. Enjoy your life and your money as a single man with kids from a baby mama, UNLESS you have an African wife with an old-fashioned African mentality that knows her place and her role. Cassie certainly isn't that. God forbids. Don't work for a stupid bitch to enjoy for nothing. |
But for real, for a successful Nigerian man, it is a scam and an injustice to yourself to be in a so-called "serious" relationship with any of these over-entitled Nigerian slay queen minded females. You would fritter away your life's work or your blessings on a random, useless bitch. Get a girl that is old-fashioned in her orientation about marriage/relationships, and assess her to be one that knows how the game should be. It's really very simple. Most guys don't understand this, and it makes me sad to see. If you don't know how to meet and assess a homely, presentable, wife-material Nigerian girl, send me a message and I'll put you thorough. I have one, and she is my madam (lol). I even wash her nighties when I feel like, and I'm very happy to do that on my own terms. Cos I set the rules and we're clear on the critical non-negotiables. Then again, life is what it is, for those who understand it. |
makydebbie:Lol. I rather be confused than be a "modern" Nigerian girl. God forbid. |
makydebbie:Oh, so women NEED marriage more than men? Why can't women wait indefinitely until whenever the 'spirit' or 'circumstances' tell them to marry? Yet they want to force men to be faithful, or threaten men that they too can be unfaithful too in marriage (imagine the konkonbility!). You people are ridiculous. If you don't understand why men (especially financially capable men who know how to enjoy their hard earned money) hesitate to get married to you "modern' over-entitled things, then you need deliverance. |
What is the feminist opinion about this? |
taoheedoriloye:Well, I've never beaten a woman. Probably never will, but I know for sure that some of them deserve it, even probably like it. But this I agree with, 100%: I cant be feeding you, clothing you, Sex you, take of you and at the same time you are also challenging my authorityCos as long as I was the one expected to do the spending to woo you, do the spending to marry you, and be under pressure to have money to have you and maintain you and everything else, then we do not have the same privileges or rights. I can't indulge my male entitlement to assorted sexual flavours (as a naturally polygamous species) and you'll threaten to do same under my roof. Na God to punish you nd your family. The European women you emulate in your feminist nonsense do not put the financial pressure or expectation on men. So when they express their sexual and romantic liberality, nobody complains. Be like them FIRST before purporting to emulate their feminism. |
But why? Why would he be doing wire wire from the US? These boys need to understand that if they're doing this from within the US, then it's only a matter of time before they get caught. |
The soft-spoken lawyer...Since when? |
SamuelAnyawu:**** "No businessman will give such an amount to a judge without something attached"... Is this a statement of fact or a very ridiculous and baseless presumption? Which law forbids anybody, judge or not, from receiving gifts or soft loans from friends or relatives? So because I'm a judge, my billionaire brother or old friend cannot 'dash' me N100 million without something attached? Is it not the duty of the lazy and incompetent EFCC to investigate whether 'something was attached' or not? If they cannot find evidence of a criminal 'something attached', then they have no case - even if the gift or so-called loan was $1 Billion! |
Geniro:Thank you very much. This is what disgusts me about this useless EFCC. |

fool. |
Caseless:Lol. Mumu. What does 'colourless' mean? |
Caseless:You're eminently colour blind.... Or you have no idea what 'colour' - or 'colourless' means. This IS already the most colourful election in modern American history. |
seunoni34:Unfortunately, most of them wouldn't understand this simple fact. They simply lack the sense to understand this. |
Eleniyan15:These people sef. |
donestk:It is supposedly 'illegal' on paper. One of those laws that are essentially unimplementable. The law here basically defines prostitution as soliciting for sex. The problem is that this only indicts those girls who stand on the road and harass passers-by or motorists for sex; even then, it is difficult to prove this in court. If we define prostitution the way it is supposed to be defined - as any instance of trading sexual favours for monetary or non-monetary rewards, then virtually every woman in Nigeria is a prostitute.. Including our mothers, sisters and wives - and the female judges who would preside over the cases. |
Isi kote, obulu. No tears to waste. |
Fantastic speech. |
DPR? Lol. You can apply and get selected for this job without having strong connections. .. It is possible... As long as you know how to put toothpaste back into the tube after squeezing it out. I just love the die-hard, albeit futile optimism of my fellow Nigerian masses. |
That's what you get when you put abokki zomana into positions of authority. These cows in human skin are renowned for their extremism in everything. Abokki armed robbers and kidnappers are the most ruthless and vicious - they don't know the boundaries between robbing/kidnapping for monetary gains and killing for the sheer wantonness of it. Same applies when these maloo people are in government and the security agencies. Everything must be Kai Kai, go go, do do, arrest arrest, jail jail, kill kill. No awareness of procedures, no caution, no, restraint.... No gaddem sense. God forbids. I spit on them. We shouldn't be in the same country as these animals. |
This has gone beyond ridiculousness and now borders on raving madness. |
If Aisha is the kind of strong-willed woman that I think she is, then she cannot be gagged. She must have tried severally to communicate with her husband and was likely ignored or shut out, hence the inevitability of venting her opinions and frustrations publicly. If Buhari attempts to confine her to the shadows, that would be his greatest undoing, and would provide ammunition to the 'other' camp - comprising millions of dissatisfied Nigerian masses, thousands of opposition PDP members, and hundreds of disgruntled APC stalwarts. This would certainly be a good thing for someone like me who detests the old and useless cattle rearer. |
Only a certified bastard would support the EFCC's continued persecution of this man FFK. I mean, what stops the EFCC from summarily prosecuting him and allowing the courts deal with the matter? What is the basis for these ceaseless arrests, re-arrests and indefinite detentions? |
These brainless dinosaurs in the EFCC are very annoying. Is the fact that my so-called salary is not tantamount to my assets a crime in itself? Is it not possible to earn money from other sources apart from one's salary? Can I not broker a big business transaction and collect agency/brokerage or consultant fees running into millions? Can I not be given gifts running into millions? Stupid people. |
shinebabe:Either poverty has corroded your brain or you're just plain mischievous. What is N300k? A sum that small boys waste in clubs routinely or lavish on their girlfriends is too much for a Justice of the SUPREME COURT to carry around for miscellaneous expenses? Do you know anything about how much their allowances and other benefits amount to? Do you know that it is easy for them to be multi-millionaires due to accrued income from their career earnings (first as lawyers engaged in private practice and then as jurists for decades) and their accumulated investments? Every idiot would have something to say about everything. Sometimes it is best to just shut up. |
