JesusDWay:Thank you so much. God bless you. |
Ayaayo: Fumbaby:i am a silent follower of this thread even before i got married. i got married in november last year and I got pregnant to the glory of God almost immediately. this is what i did : 1)about 9 months before my wedding month, i kept track of my cycle every month- the day i started my period, the day it ended and the entire length of the cycle 2) about 6 months before I got married, I was drinking regularly Bragg's apple cider vingar mixed with water 3)three months before i got married, i went to see my GP here in the UK. he told me to watch my diet, eat lots of fruits and vegetable, exercise and i should take FOLIC ACID TABLETS once a day and also an 'A-Z MULTIVITAMIN TABLET' once a day. 4)my husband is often away for work in another country so i had to make every fertile day in my cycle count. From day 1 to day 10, i was safe but from day 11 to day 16 (before he went away), i make sure we did the 'needful' as many times as possible every single day, of course he didnt know i was actively ''trying'' to get pregnant and he was just amazed by my constant urge to climb him even when he claims he is tired and relunctant i will still insist and remind him of my conjugal rights and tell him his body his MINE to use as I want. i tried all styles - especially d*ggy (I read it's the most effective for maximum penetration). First thing in the morning, last thing at night and even during the day (weekends), i would initiate baby dancing.to God be the glory, barely 2/3 weeks later , i had a positive result on the test kit. I must add that before the visit to my GP, my cycle was rather haphazard. 31 -39 days and this was never the case about 5 -10 years ago. However, as soon as I followed my doctor's advice, my cycle returned to 28-30days which made calculating my ovulation days very easy. this is my way of giving back to this thread as i learnt many things from fellow ladies especially on the importance of babydancing during one's fertile period. baby dust to all ! God will bless all expectant mothers here with the fruit of the womb and they will carry to term in Jesus name. Amen |
Nozzle:thanks for your response. you are right - my main challenge is getting my husband involved. i am not sure he has the time or patience to study/sit for the IELTS exam. I will speak to him about it though. thanks again. I have another question please. i have two transcripts - one from a Nigerian university while the other from a uk university. Can i send both together from my base abroad? Or should I have the Nigerian transcript sent by my relative from Nigeria to WES? |
Jennifer89:aww . kisses! im doing great. Yourself? second trimester has been okay. just that i am sooooo tired anytime from 5 -6pm |
hello mamas. i have been a silent follower of this thread and the ttc thread even before i got married. lol. to God be the Glory, i got pregnant almost immediately after i got married. I am a first time mum. i must say i have learnt a lot from both threads and God bless all the regular posters. my favourite line on this thread is ''it comes with the package'' we will all carry to term in Jesus name. Amen. #teamseptember |
Nozzle pls to get the maximum points, is it best i apply as a single lady or married? Highest qualification is a Masters degree i am married but all my passports and documents still have my maiden name. |
Nozzle:thank you so much for this. huge relieve for me. |
africanusvu:so true there was a time warri was the location of choice for oil companies and oil servicing companies. its not really the same anymore ![]() |
i have copies of all my transcripts with me. can i just send them directly myself to WES? please, has anybody tried this? |
Wilson125:mumu go and carry out DNA test on him then |
Luvties:middle belt ? lol . is that some joke ![]() Keep your Dark Mark and co to yourselves |
wow. so some men do all the things in this write-up? i thank God for my man. sweetheart, know that I love you and you are indeed a rare gem |
babyosisi: FUTA kwaYou can call it anything you want. It still remains a federal university that has been in existence for over 20 years. I have been to all four schools - unilag, FUTA, OAU and U.I |
Not impressed. Unilag, U.I and even FUTA have finer structures/environment. For private universities, convenant university, ota beats all others hands down. |
So many ignorant responses here. There is no big deal in the fact that the first lady inagurated the ship. According to naval tradition in nigeria, when a ship is being commissioned, a WOMAN does the honour. Could it be the wife of the chief of navy staff or the wife of a retired naval boss, nobody really cares as long as it is done by a female. Ya'all should check for facts before coming on here to moan ! |

persist:YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL. He is with her because he wanted to get his stay in the UK. And the girl knows it. Reason why she is treating him like a puppet. How else can one explain all the shit the poster took from her in the name of ''LOVE'' Love ko, Lion ni, |
labalaba4:why not go ahead and send a letter or rather a fax to Goodluck Jonathan. Bawss1:dont mind the loser. every business transaction that goes wrong is now linked to Fashola. |
there is nothing weird or spectacular about that penalty |
Siena:calling someone's father a leech is not a nice thing to say. |
nice video. |
with his level of education and exposure, it is a shame that such statements are coming from him. |
I just had to bring up this thread again to share the good news and give thanks to God. My boyfriend proposed formally to me last week Friday. I am still over the moon with joy. To all those praying for the man of their dreams to come their way or still nursing an heartbreaks, all i can say is: be yourself, be good and keep the faith in God |
very razz-looking omo oko (busy boy) |
I'm sure when your father was training you through school, feeding your ungrateful behind, clothing you and buying you all those nice barbies and things, he did not ever come on Nairaland to complain to us that your school fees were unaffordable or that he had to almost suck someones nuts to give you pocket money. How ungrateful can you spoilt kids get. So let me guess, 1 million naira is enough payment for all his troubles so he might as well go to hell abi?!! Heres an advice, send him a txt msg (I'm guessin you bought him a Blackberry also) and tell him to go to hell. Or go on his facebook profile (assuming he can use the internet), and tell him to go and farm. RUBBISH!!
Truesnowdrops:God bless you. poster, so it is now a crime to support your father when he is experiencing financial difficulties? you have no shame. when did it become a sin to cater for one's parents and stand by them in times of need? if he had sent you to teacher's training college or government technical college, oshogbo will you have the lucrative job you have now. to those that are saying that all he did for you are only his responsibility as a parent, then he should have sent you to learn a trade like sewing. so you want your father to become a pauper and feed from hand to mouth or come crying to you for money? what i will suggest you do is give him advice on how to run his business. there might be something wrong that he is doing with the investment that you can help put right. afterall, if the business becomes profitable, he will not have any reason to rely on you. |
oserols:u have no shame. so you want to look at a fellow guy's private and also use the zoom feature. it seems like there is an increased number of gays in nigeria. |
i have had similiar experience as well. almost similiar case as yours. i sent a text to him expressing how angry i was. it was the nastiest text i had ever sent to him. and that was it. not a word or a phone call from him after that. that was how the relationship ended. like play like play. relationship that he had invested so much in. i was shocked and baffled but i guess it was only proof to that he was not into me and he could not be bothered to fight for/keep my love. the days and weeks and months after was tough. i almost lost my sanity. but i devoted myself to work and i hung out with friends and that was how i met the present love of my life. it was only prove that if one door closes, a bigger gate opens. it is as if God sent the man i am with now to wipe away my tears. its been bliss so far. dont worry, it is just a phase. and it will pass. cry if you want to. it will make you feel good. but do not make the mistake of calling or texting him except he does. |
buttermi u are not in a gud place rite now cos d way u framed dis situation I don't tink d guy is really serious with u. If a guy is lookin to d future he will b very bold to show u off to his friends at least.
i fear men. my first cousin has been in similiar relationship. in her case, she knew all the man's family members and not one of his friends. apparently the man was married with kids but the entire family hated his wife [she stayed in another part of the courntry] and wanted him to divorce her and they were more than happy to see him dating my cousin. the man only confessed his marital status after about 1 year into the relationship. that is why i said that meeting his family members is no guarantee that all is well. buttermi, shine your eyes well well o. |

I don't think it was wrong stopping the relationship in fact you did the right thing but Mr poster correct me if I am wrong you had a motive of living off her in the first place and also saw it as an oppurtunity to stay back in the UK as your visa was running out because why on earth will you marry on a relationship of 1 month plus and forgive the lady so much.
