Politics#endsarsnow: Why SARS Should Be Scrapped by Honbright(op): 4:11pm On Feb 23, 2020
SARS is one of the Nigeria Police Force units that is saddled with the responsibility of fighting crime in the society; specifically, robbery. The Menace of the special anti robbery squad is becoming unbearable and alarming in the country with their brutalisation, harassment, extortion, illegal arrest, unlawful raiding and detention among others.

Nigerians are complaining for their brutalisation, students can no longer walk free for the fear of SARS men.

The federal government says SARS has been reformed but it saddens that the bill isn't effective as their harassment increases by percentage on daily basis.

On Thursday 20th February 2020, two Hausa traders lost their lives in Abeokuta, OGUN state while the SARS operatives were chasing yahoo boys.

When do SARS turn EFCC?

The duty of SARS is to fight against Robbery and not finance. Nigeria government better act fast.

SARS should be totally reformed if possible not scrapped.

According to the Nigeria Constitution, citizens have freedom of movement and right to life but it seems all these laws is only for the rich people and those in power while the masses are suffering, SARS operatives do raid from 10pm without listening to excuses, they will tagged their victim a criminal and threaten to send them to prison if they don't cooperate.

They force innocent civilians into their Van and mandate them to compulsorily transfer money to their accounts otherwise the victims will be locked up in their cell for days.

The SARS operatives intrude on civilians privacy by check-in through their mobile phones and call logs which is wrong.

The federal government should look into these menace before it gets out of hand.

SARS are tarnishing the country image with their incompetency. Is it a crime to put on nice dress?

Is it a crime to make dreads?

Why is the police force unit arresting innocent people. I learnt police should be the citizens friend but they are typical enemy.

SARS brutalisation records increases everyday. It saddens that the force that ought to be protecting the lives and properties of civilians are the one compromising it thereby making the country unsafe and putting the citizens lives at risk.

The SARS operatives have no manners for elders they brutalise anobody that dare challenge them, some of them will even threaten to kill and still boasts that nothing will happen.

It is no longer a news that the SARS operatives Commit crimes and other atrocities; smoke weeds, drink to stupor using their uniform to cover their tracks.

Another thing about this SARS is their contribution to the society is majorly to influx crime, why chasing yahoo boys instead of chasing armed robbers?

I think SARS are encouraging cyber crime as they search any youth they see on the street phones and query them why they are not into yahoo. This same SARS killed Remo stars Assistant captain on Saturday 22nd February, 2020. Enough is enough.

I must commend the Force unit, SARS on their contribution in fighting crimes such as robbery, cybercrime, violence among others but the truth must be told as the fact still remains that Nigerians are being brutalised, killed and extorted by the police force unit SARS hence there is a need for SARS to be scrapped or better still their men should undergo psychiatric test.

The hash tag #EndSars is currently trending on twitter where Nigerians are pouring out their mind and sharing their encounter with the police force unit.

PoliticsBehind The Agency Bill And Freedom Of Boko Haram Members - Busy Brain by Honbright(op): 12:08am On Feb 23, 2020
Wonders shall never end. After killing to the fullest, our leaders have realised that it's good to commend the efforts of the callous killers who does not possess any human feelings. Or isn't it a way of commending retired Boko Haram members for the killings, for the atrocities, carnage and maiming all over the years with national agency for education, rehabilitation, de-radicalisation and integration of insurgents in the country, VAM News reports.

The bill was sponsored by Senator Ibrahim Gaidam during plenary on Thursday at the upper Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja. It's captioned ' National Agency for the Education, Rehabilitation, De-radicalisation and Integration of repentant insurgents in Nigeria ( Est, etc) Bill 2020( SB. 340 ).

I can not but imagine the type of leaders we have in Nigeria. Some times, I do think maybe there is something mixed together with the breeze they inhale from air conditions in the chamber that normally trigger shallow bills. If we cannot have agency that will look into the well-being of the wives, sons and daughters of our fallen heroes while battling Boko Haram, Herdsmen, Bandits and kidnappers, then, the senator that came up with agency bill for the killers should be medically cross checked.

For more than a decade, woes had been fallen and still on rampage as a result of Boko Haram incendiary. Many out Nigerian sons and daughters living in the North East region are homeless, hapless and fatherless, many houses burnt, properties worth millions destroyed.

Many house wives had turned to widows while parents that await the return of their soldier son are left behind the daydreaming sceneil till now. What other depression is more than fighting war that has no definite stoppage time. We are just praying for the labour of our heroes not to be in vain; how will it not be in vain when the killers are being granted freedom.

Recently, 1400 Boko Haram members had been released in three tranches since operation safe corridor began. Operation safe corridor is an initiative for the deradicalisation and rehabilitation of all ex Boko Haram members.

The first set was released during Governor Shettima's time while two sets have been released under Prof Zulum While Mr. Shekau speaking on Chibok girls, said, the only way to have those girls back is for their men in prison to be released. After the release of 1400 wicked men, no-one sees the break light of Chibok girls. What we saw was another bomb blast.

In Shekau's Statement, he said, “Buhari came to Maiduguri pretending to be a good man but he is not. He shouldn’t try to return to Maiduguri again.

Quoting Mr. Shekau further, he said: “Buhari, fear your Creator. God said you don’t have up to a spider’s web. But you think you are a major general. l swear, you are nothing. Buhari, I am talking to you, you’ll know no peace. Don’t come back to Maiduguri.

Just go and sit down and think over my comments. And if u think I am the one disrupting your affairs, honestly I am not. You have deceived the people by telling them you are a just leader; carry on!”

From the above statement, one would agree with me that it is out of point for President Buhari led administration to free captured Boko Haram members. The above lines from Shekau depict that, he is mentally unstable and physically wicked.

His words lack direction and the reason for killing Nigerians is hazy. Everything said up there only emanated from a disjointed and most wicked soul.

A video threatening President Buhari and Honourable Minister of communication has shown that things have finally fallen apart and the labour of these heroes that left their comfort zones to combat Boko Bombs seems to be in vain just because the way and manner Nigeria' government is handling the matter is getting worrisome. If not, why would government grant freedom to the suspected killers?

From the reports, CAN Chairman of Michika LG. Adamawa State was missing, later Ropvil Deciya Dalep of Unimaid was beheaded by Boko Haram while Fatimah Babagana of Mass Communication Department, Unimaid along other 29 innocent Nigerians were burnt to ashes by same deadly sect. Campuses are no longer safe in the North East region.

Just of recent after President's Buhari's visitation to Borno, about 30 innocent lives were sent to the world beyond. Tell me, is it now normal for the government to release these killers and still attempt to create agency for them while Chibok girls, Leah Sharibu and others are still in their dungeon. It's like giving kudos to them to have succeeded in terrorising the country.

If the government claim the released members were not real Boko Haram members, would government know Boko Haram members than the soldiers that have been battling them for years?

The soldiers are familiar with them and they know those they captured as Boko Haram members.

Why would Federal Government grant them freedom as repentant members ?

Why are these repentant members not revealing their sponsors?

Who are those supplying them sophisticated weapons?

If they are born again terrorists for real, they should tell the government about their antics and tactics in order to find a solution to their mode of operation. If they are not giving information about other colleagues, their freedom would bring more tragedy.

In as much as my hope is still alive that we would find a way out to the problems bedevilling the country, what is behind the national agency bill and freedom of Boko Haram members is nothing but an attempt to waste the efforts of our past heroes and the present ones on the battlefield.

However, it has been proven biologically that the sex drive increases at puberty stage, therefore if this isn't properly controlled with several measures such as the introduction of "sex education " which will definitely reveal to them the danger to be faced after the involvement in premarital sex; the repercussion of this act won't only reflect on the parties involved but ,will be extended to the nation in caboodle.

Most pregnancies conceived by females specifically the teens leads to abortion, which is one of the causes of death in Nigeria;

Nigeria as a nation is suffering from this menace; therefore for this to be declined and reduced among our teens, there is a necessity for the introduction of sensitization programme across all facet ranging from the metropolitan level to the rural level. And most inhabitants of the rural settlement are less updated, so this programme will go a long way serving as a turning point from this menace.

EducationSP Speaker Hails Judiciary For Slamming A 21st Years Jail Term On Lecturer by Honbright(op): 10:44am On Feb 21, 2020
The national speaker of the Nigerian Students Parliament (NSP); Rt.Hon. Mubarak Aliyu Rimi today has congratulated Nigerian students for their victory against the Sex for Admission Lecturer, VAM News reports.

Speaker Mubarak thanked Justice Josephine Oyefeso of the Ikeja High Court who sentenced a former part-time lecturer at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akin Baruwa, to 21 years imprisonment for raping 18-year-old admission seeker.

Investigations confirmed that Baruwa, a married father of two, was arraigned before the court by the police after the victim, a daughter of his friend, filed a report.

The prosecution told the court that Baruwa raped the girl on July 23, 2015, in Room 8 at the Faculty of Business Administration, Annex building, UNILAG when she came to seek admission into the institution. While delivering judgement in the one count of rape filed against him, the presiding judge, Justice Oyefeso, said the prosecution proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

“The offence committed against this young lady was a violation of her chastity which would have left huge emotional scars from which I pray and hope she will recover. I cannot begin to imagine the physical and mental trauma she has had to endure from the man who she considered her father’s friend, a community leader who should have known better.

This is a shame. This is a crime that not only offends the survivor, it offends her family, it offends the society at large, it also offends God. I find you Baruwa Afeez Akin guilty of a one-count charge of rape contrary to Section 258(1) of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011, and I hereby convict you accordingly.

In line with Section 258 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011, Baruwa Afeez Akin is hereby sentenced to 21 years’ imprisonment.” she ruled.

Speaker Mubarak noted that this judgement will serve as a deterrent to other "Sex for admission or Sex for grades Lecturers" scattered all over the higher institutions in Nigeria.

PoliticsBoko Haram Repentant Bill: CAN And BBOG Blow Hot, Knock Senate by Honbright(op): 8:49am On Feb 21, 2020
The Senate on Thursday started work on a bill for a law seeking the establishment of a national agency for education and rehabilitation of repentant Boko Haram insurgents.

When it eventually becomes a law, it will ensure de-radicalisation of repentant Boko Haram militants and other insurgents.

The bill, which was sponsored by the All Progressives Congress member representing Yobe East Senatorial District, and former governor of Yobe State, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, passed the first reading on Thursday.

But few hours after it passed the first reading, the bill attracted mixed reactions with the Chibok Community, which was attacked by the insurgents in 2014, and the Christian Association of Nigeria condemning it.

It was, however, supported by the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.

Reading the bill, Geidam, who is from the same state with the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, said the document titled, “National agency for the education, rehabilitation, de-radicalisation and integration of repentant insurgents in Nigeria,” would ensure that repentant insurgents were fully integrated into society.

The proposed agency, according to the legislation, would provide educational opportunities for the insurgents.

It will also rehabilitate, de-radicalise and integrate the repentant insurgents in the country. The proposed agency, according to the bill, will provide recreational sports and fine arts programmes for the repentant insurgents.

The bill also states that the agency will be able to gain a greater understanding of both the immediate needs for combating Boko Haram, as well as tool for counter-radicalisation in the future, by maintaining open lines of communication.

The proposed agency will also provide vocational rehabilitation facilities for the repentant terrorists to learn carpentry, clay shaping, pottery and the like.

The bill adds that repentant insurgents will make use of art through drawings, guided by professional art therapists in their art. rehabilitation.

The main aims of the bill are to “provide avenue for rehabilitating, de-radicalising, educating and reintegrating the defectors, repentant and detained members of the insurgent group Boko Haram to make them useful members of the society.

“Provide avenue for reconciliation and promote national security. Provide an-open-door and encouragement for other members of the group who are still engaged in the insurgency to abandon the group, especially in the face of the military pressure.

“Give the government an opportunity to derive insider-information about the insurgent group for greater understanding of the group and its inner workings.

“Gain greater understanding of the insurgents will enable government to address the immediate concerns of violence and study the needs of de-radicalization effort to improve the process of de-radicalization.

“Help disintegrate the violent and poisonous ideology that the group spreads as the programme will enable some convicted or suspected terrorists to express remorse over their actions.

“Make them repent and recant their violent ideology and re-enter mainstream politics, religion and society.”

Recall that the military established a rehabilitating centre in Gombe State for repentant Boko Haram terrorists.

The centre, it was reported, had trained and rehabilitated over 1,000 insurgents since its inception over three years ago.

The Borno State Government had also revealed that about 1,400 repentant Boko Haram suspects had been released by the military and rehabilitated into society.

The Federal Government had in 2017 established the North-East Development Commission, after a bill establishing it was passed by the National Assembly.

The NEDC is charged with the responsibility to, “among other things, receive and manage funds from allocation of the federal account and international donors for the settlement, rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads, houses and business premises of victims of insurgency as well as tackling menace of poverty, illiteracy level, ecological problems and any other related environmental or developmental challenges in the North-East states”- Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe.

FG trying to make insurgency a lucrative business – CAN
CAN’s Director of Legal and Public Affairs, Kwamkur Samuel, in an interview with The PUNCH, said he was not aware of any nation that had successfully undertaken the project of de-radicalising, rehabilitating and empowering terrorists.

He stated, “We shall be ready for them at the public hearing on such bills. If the Federal Government is not having an ulterior motive of rewarding terrorism through that bill as most Nigerians believe, the FG, instead, would have put a bill in place that will provide adequate relief materials for victims of terrorism, and concrete measures proposed for adequate compensation for them as well.

“If Nigerian government had taken full responsibility and liability for the welfare and adequate compensation for victims of insurgency, they would have known well if they have defeated Boko Haram or not. They would have also known very well the kind of persons and group of persons that constitute the victims of Boko Haram, kidnapping, and killers Fulani militias.

“Like we have always said, it is the conviction of many Christian and indeed Nigerians that the Federal Government is trying to make insurgency a lucrative business for the large number of unemployed Nigerian youths and young persons, if not what is the justification of the special attention been given to the terrorists at the detriment of the welfare of the victims and the security agents fighting in the bush?”

It’s a dumb idea – Chibok community

EducationNANS Frowns At Mr AGUN Of Geography, Calls For Suspension Of Lecturer by Honbright(op): 12:37pm On Feb 16, 2020
Our attention has been drawn towards the maladaptive behavior of one Mr Agun,a lecturer from geography department,Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo who out of his non competency ordered the students on teaching practice at All Saint's Grammar school,Oka Ondo to go on their knees, as punishment for a baseless charge against Nigeria students, Voiceairmedia reports.

This unlawful act triggered the student teachers to be booed, the student Union leaders of the institution were as well treated in an unworthy way in which some of them were beaten and battered.

The oppression by the teachers of the aforementioned secondary School on students on teaching practice exercise is well noticed as the right mechanism would be applied as at when due.

This is a rightly call on the management of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo to act on as we won't condole any form of oppression on our dear students in the State hence, we pass a vote of no confidence on Mr Agun of Geography department.

In a statement signed by ADESOJI ADEWALE PKA OMOOBA, PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER and AKINTEYE BABATUNDE A. (Babtee), CHAIRMAN, in lieu of this, we set a ultimatum of five(5) days as at the time of this press release for our student management of the institution to do the needful on the lecturer, as NANS will want to Foster more relationship between the management and ourself.

EducationRep. Member Adefisoye Advocates For Federal College Of Forestry by Honbright(op): 10:02am On Feb 15, 2020
By Agbelusi Ganiyu

Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye had presented a bill for the establishment and sitting of a Federal College of Forestry & Tourism in Idanre in Ondo State.

This revelation was made known to Idanre Media Service recently by Mr. Akinrotohun Idowu Allamposah in a telephone chat recently.

According to him, the bill has passed through the first reading on the floor of the House of Representatives where the honorable man, popularly known as "Small Alhaji" is representing Idanre/ Ifedore Federal Constituency having won the election under the banner of Social Democratic Party (SDP) during 2019 General Elections.

Meanwhile, notable Idanres are already expressing their minds on the development. His Royal Highness, Oba Henry Olumakaiye, the Onikoire of Ofosu Oniseere, Idanre, Ondo State had expressed his happiness at the development and prayed that such good things will continue to come to Idanre kingdom.

An Idanre son who simply called himself Olorun Agbaye wrote;

"I love this and may God see them through but my advice is that there must be synergy between our representaives at both red and green chambers so that they both can push things together for timely approval. Allover (Senator Patrick Ayo Akinyelure) and Small Alhaji are making us proud. I love their courage and sagacity".

It will be recalled that ever since MHR Adefisoye arrived the House where he became the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on the Army, he has been promising to use everything at his disposal to ensure Idanre gets an institution of higher learning.

Idanre people had been yearning for an institution of higher learning for long and many people are of the opinion that if he succeeds in bringing the Federal College of Forestry and Tourism to Idanre, he will further endear himself to the hearts of both Idanre electorates and those not bothered with politics.

HealthDoctors To Begin Nationwide Strike Over Nuc’s Phd Directive by Honbright(op): 8:28pm On Feb 14, 2020
The Medical and Dental Consultant’s Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), says its members will pull out from all Teaching Hospitals in the country if the National University Commission (NUC), fails to withdraw the circular issued to Nigerian Universities that all medical doctors lecturing in the universities and medical colleges must possess PhD certificates before they would be allowed to lecture, VAM News has gathered.

The NUC had on December 24, last year issued a circular directing all University Vice Chancellors and Registrars, National Postgraduate Medical College not to allow doctors who were not PhD holders to lecture in the universities, a decision that was vehemently faulted by the doctors.

In their resolve to take a final stand on the NUC’s decision, the association through its National President, Prof. Kenneth Ozoilo said the group had on January 31, issued 24-day ultimatum for the NUC to withdraw its earlier decision, else it will ask its members to stay away from all hospitals across the country, citing that the ultimatum is expiring in the next 10 days.

Ozoilo, a consultant at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), made the disclosure on Friday during a press conference held in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

According to the group, PhD certificate though relevant but “doesn’t add value to any kind of treatment” adding that for a PhD holder to lecture efficiently, they have to be trained and get practical experience from the field.

MDCAN which described the NUC’s decision as punitive and acting in error, noted however that having fellowship acquired through residency was more vigorous which could be equated with PhD certificate, explaining that “residency training is purposeful while PhD is cosmetics.”

EducationPress Freedom Under Buhari's Administration: Campus Journalists Meet by Honbright(op): 11:25am On Feb 13, 2020
Student-journalists and other media practitioners converge on the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife for the International Conference for Campus Journalists (ICCJ).

Organised by the Association of Campus Journalists, the conference with the theme: Press freedom under the Buhari Administration, dissected issues on media freedom and suppression of the right of journalists under the current democratic dispensation.

Senior Legal Adviser, Social and Economic Rights and Accountability Project,(SERAP), Joke Fekumo, cited several cases of infringement on the rights of journalists in Nigeria.

She bemoaned the National Assembly which, last year, came up with fresh guidelines on the accreditation of the coverage and reportage of its proceedings.

She alluded to Press attack tracker, a tech platform that tracks attacks on journalists in Nigeria, expressing shock on the number of causalities as revealed by the platform last year.

“According to Press Attack Tracker, at least 36 Nigerian journalists were attacked between January and July with 30 of the attacks recorded during the general elections.

The death of a journalist who was shot dead in his residence while awaiting the results of the presidential elections was also reported,” Fekumo said while delivering her keynote address.

Fekumo said SERAP is planning to undertake the litigations for journalists whose constitutional rights were being breached by the authorities.

Online Editor, The Nation Sunday Oguntola, had a panel session with the student journalists where he gave perspectives on the trajectory of press freedom across different democratic administrations in the country.

“No government the world over has ever seen the Fourth Estate of the Realm not as major opposition and therefore tried to stifle it.’’

Nonetheless, Oguntola said only a few governments wish to enter into litigation against the media, adding that oftentimes, they lose the case.

He highlighted the importance of national security and the need for people to be wary of fake news. He urged practitioners to put into context objectivity before proceeding to publish any story as this could cause tremendous damage to the individual concerned.

Sharing his experience, Micheal Olatunbosun, a multimedia journalist with Splash FM Ibadan, said he desired to impact his generation by using the media as a platform.”

The likes of us are still in the industry because of the plethora of work we can do such as writing, scripting, jingle, production, among others.

He urged the young journalists to acquire more relevant skills in order to assert their relevance in the media space.

Olatunbosun also admonished budding journalists to be painstaking enough to compile thorough reports and get their facts rights before conducting interviews.

Ibraheen Shitta, a female correspondent with TVC, lent her voice to the gender balance and inclusion in the media space. Shitta said being a female journalist doesn’t make one less a journalist.

Regardless of gender, Shitta believes if a good job is done without leaving loopholes, the journey will be very smooth.

President, ACJ OAU, Olusola Oladare, as well as President, Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ilorin chapter Glory Chika, appreciated guests for the successful event. Oludare recalled how the body contended with funding during the planning stage.

He was upbeat that people would begin to see the prospects in campus journalism and therefore be willing to invest in it.

RomanceValentine's Day: Unfolding February 14 - Valentine Femi Adesanya Says by Honbright(op): 6:40am On Feb 13, 2020
By Valentine Femi Adasanya

In the Old Roman Empire lived  Saint Valentine. He was a devout Catholic Priest committed to the will and work of God.

During the reign of Emperor Claudius, young men were recruited into the army. Claudius in his selfishness and disrespect for natural emotional callings of his Soldiers, made marriage , an institution established by God for companionship, sex and child bearing a taboo for the Soldiers. This according to him was to keep them strong and focused.

Saint Valentine could not let the Emperor deprived the Soldiers of their right to marriage. He took the bull by the horns. He joined those  Soldiers ready for marriage with their Soulmates in a holy matrimony. He was caught and later beheaded (his head was cut off)by the Emperor.

Years after  Saint Valentine was killed, it became necessary to set a day for his feast and remembrance. There was an annual festival in Old Roman Empire on February 14. It was a Festival of Sex. People made love in the open as if in an orgy party. In order to put an end to this immoral festival and show of indecency, festival of sex was replaced by Saint Valentine's Day ( lover's Day).

Saint Valentine's Day is a day to show and share love with loved ones. Greeting cards, flowers and other lovely items are sent to loved ones on this day.

It is however disheartening that the day is being abused. People are now reviving the immoral act that Valentine's Day replaces. Hearts are broken, virginities are lost to the abuse of Valentine's Day.

Let's celebrate love that Valentine's Day  represents and not immortality that it doesn't!

PoliticsImplement NOUN December 4, 2018 Bill Now - Students Tell Buhari by Honbright(op): 8:17pm On Feb 08, 2020
...STOP PLAYING WITH OUR FUTURE

...NOUN NYSC/LAW SCHOOL SAGA

...Freedom can never be given by the oppressor it must be demanded By the oppress...

...More than 1 and half year gone we held our peace.

This is a call to all Masses. A call for justice. A call for our voice to be heard. A call against oppression. A call against maladministration. A call against all voices of traitors.

Now that Alawee has been increased, you expects us to keep calm!  NO! enough is enough

This is a call to demand for our rights. This is a call to stand for justice and fairness.

A wise man once said, when good people refuse to talk, bad decisions will be the order of the day.

This is a call to consolidate our future, our generation and our people.

Statistically, we are the ones paying highest amount of money as federal University  compared to other Federal Universities in the Country any thing about Open university is always delayed unlike our cohorts from other states.

It is no more a news that the bill that allows Open University Graduates to participate in  NYSC scheme /LAW SCHOOL has been signed by president Muhammad buhari since December 04 2018 but since then nothing has been done we neither hear anything from School Management nor NYSC on when they will implement this bill that has been sighed since more than 1 and half year ago.

This is not the time to be neutral or sit on the fence. This is the time to fight against oppression and demand for our rights.

National Open University of Nigeria is a Federal government university and Approved by NUC  but why are we  treating like a second class citizens.

Some of us pay hardly to afford for Open university terms and conditions as directed by NUC but why are they denying us of our right like other tertiary institutions I have seen a Nigeria graduate from Open university of benni serving in Nigeria even with international treatment.

I have seen our graduate NOUN that get to a point of his employment but deny due to the fact that he tender NYSC exclusive letter.

Enough is Enough

The time to make history is now. The time to be the architect of our future is now. The time to drum the Aluta song  is now.

Our Demand;

Federal Government should mandate it for NYSC and Law school to implement Dec 4 2018 bill that allows NOUN graduate to go for NYSC and law School indefinitely.

NOUN  2020 GRADUATES must be mobilize together with the 2020  Bach A.

Failure to comply with this, we will all march as the largest university in Nigeria in all the 36 States and make it known to the world that we have been treated as the second class citizens by our Government and all the activities of the government will be disrupted  through Social media and physical peaceful protest.

We are not for war but for peace.

An injustice to one is an injustice to all.

Note:
1. We are aware mobilization of NYSC batch A will commence by the end of this month February and our graduate must be mobilize along with them too

2. Dignitaries or personnels may plead for us to be patient and wait for Directive of the management. We know this tactics too well, we will never fall for this.

All NOUN student home and abroad are lending our voices to our plights, fight for our rights and demand for justice.
