Stop Over-reacting as it is a common question in this Western Countries and plz it is not just being asked only to the people of Colour. If you live in a multi-cultural city like Toronto, it's something that is common. I have over the past tried to make people understand that I am Nigerian nd proud of it and not from St. Vincent they tag me. B/w, they know u r Canadian like alot of people are but they r more interested to know your background nd I do not see anything wrong with that. I think your mind is all covered up with racisim so plz free yourself from that.

@davidylan, plz after one year of schooling in Canada, international students are not entitled to permanent residency. They are allowed to work off campus after completing two academic semesters (6-8 months), It is after graduating nd working for a year that International Students can apply for permanent resident and there is no guarantee that the person will get it.

To the poster, talk to your man about it. he should be encouraging you nd not putting pressure on you.

I was told that it will hold and we have till at least 3rd week in October to apply. They are slow in updating their website and they dont until the batch is ready to go for camp nd then they will bring out the schedule etc. And yes, forget about what their website says, foreign students still get to choose!

b/w, which school are you going to? its rather weird that school will resume for you on August 20th as even high skool students here would resume Sept. 7

Oh I get, I said that cuz no-one really goes to Newfoundland land, more or less still developing nd datz why school fees is cheaper compared to say Toronto.

Be warned that Canada does not have no such thing as Lottery Visa before someone eats your money all in the name of Lottery Visa

@tollu, I cannot remember feeling anyhow about the Uni. all the uni. in Canada is standardized, Maybe I said something about Newfoundland but dif. not about the uni.

Both are though Calgary is more of Oil nd Gas, u can look at both places
