Moneyboyz: Any money I see from now on I will just leave this shit hole Country for good.
There are no signboard of government acquisition, not everyone knows where to go about these things, this is my second land investment going down the drain
So sorry for your loss bro. But as for facts finding, most of the things one needs to know are often available at the Lands Registry at the Government Office. It's just that nobody cares about such things in Nigeria. From personal observation and the past experiences of people I know, I have vowed that I will do a thorough due diligence from trusted sources if I am to purchase any land in the future. Atinporomeh in Badagry area comes to mind. The events of 2010-2011 are not easily forgotten.
Most of the people commenting never had the jobs in the first place. At best, they had job opportunities or prospects. You cannot lose what you don't have.
esmarcq: Not gonna lie, I'm going through one right now, got the job before, got sick during training and had to go treat myself, came back, did all the necessary steps from start and was denied entry at the final round due to my previous sickness and have been adviced not to apply ever again, it has been traumatic and depressing ,but one has to move on with life. All my life I've dreamt of retiring in this job, quite unfortunate that story has ended. Onward together!
ravensckar: This issue is the easiest that I have come across. With a little bit of understanding, both of them will have a perfect marriage. Now, let's analyze the issue. She's educated, but you think she's unambitious. That's a lie! She just doesn't enjoy doing whatever job you're pushing her to for reasons best known to her. Bros, I'd advise you take her out for dinner one beautiful night and calmly ask her what type of job she'd like to go into. You'll be amazed. My wife is a degree holder, but prefers owning her own shop. I once forced her to work for a company, it almost killed her self-esteem. But now that she's in her preferred area, she's shining.
Secondly, on the issue of laziness. I think you just need to sit down with men and let them tell you first-hand what marriage entails. Almost all women find chores stressful. They enjoy roaming the house naked, watching television and enjoying themselves. Who wouldn't? I'll advise you play a trick on her. Whenever you return from work, tell her the usual line; 'work was stressful today, this and that happened bla bla bla'. Then, proceed to cleaning the house in her presence. Do it with a smile on your face. Trust me, her conscience will prick her. Some women are like that, words and threats won't work on them. Just appeal to their conscience. I believe your lady is a wonderful person since she isn't even pretending to be hardworking just to trick you into marrying her.
Thirdly, on the issue of pregnancy and the everyday drama that comes with it. Bros, I'll be very honest with you. The initial stage of marriage is filled with drama. Do you know why? Both of you ain't used to each other yet. You're beginning to observe the unpleasant sides of each other. Now, what's the solution to this? Take your minds off the negatives and focus on the positives. Think of the stuffs that your wife is good at and let it motivate you to want to make your marriage work. Compliment her for it, and tell her to her face that she's the best in that area. Then, watch her try to improve on her weak areas. It's a bit complex than how I've put it, I pray you find a way around it.
PS- It took my wife more than 4 years to understand that she has to tidy the house before going to shop. You can guess who was doing the cleaning for those 4 years. Lolz. Marriage hard o, but again, compared to what?
Bro, you made so much sense! Nothing much to add except that every relationship is different. Let love and mutual respect be the foundation of your marriage. Now, barman, give this bro 2 bottles of ACB, mortuary standard!!
jachi001: Op! I haven't laughed since last year November 9 when I lost my husband. I never knew i can still laugh again, Thank you for lifting my mood.
There are still many joyful days and years ahead, dear sister. Thank God you're getting yourself back. May it be well with you.
Here in Ikoga, Mowo, Age Mowo axis of Badagry, EKEDP don cast. I have spent more than 4k on fuel in the past 1 week, and I only put on the generator for few hours a day. But what can a writer do?
I laugh at some of the comments here, and I cringe at others. Only a few really know what they are talking about! Whatever the case, we pray for peace in LASU. Many people don't know the stakes in this issue, and the powers at play. Things are not always the way they seem. We hope for the best. I say no more.
alphaconde: the only celebrity I ever had craze for was Eric Donaldson because I encountered his heart break songs when I was heart broken.
I will never idolize any one again
"Why can't you stay for just a little while? Mommy and Daddy, they won't need us now... Why must you go when I need your company? You better watch what you're doing to me.. You better watch what you're doing to me.." Chai, Eric Donaldson!
The film is just there. I agree with the Op on the scenes between Didi and her Dad. And the comedy scene between Broda Shagi (taxi driver) and Raj's mom. Those scenes make some little sense. Raj's friend (Kekere-Ekun) was dry; he didn't play the role well at all. I'll give 5/10
Richie4richie16: Bro the data analysis you did with Utiva, is it worth the price you paid to learn. Am asking because I want to run same course with them
It's well worth it. You have to be committed though. The training is online, with assignments and tasks to complete regularly. You need a good laptop, strong internet connection, and of course, stable electricity for the duration of the training. Go get your goals! Peace.
travelwaka: Waterfalls are natures gift to man, you might have seen them in movies, pictures, documentary or possibly visited one. Erin Ijesha is one of the many waterfalls in Nigeria. It is a seven-step waterfall located in the heart of Osun State. Erin Ijesha waterfall is located in Southwest Nigeria. Erin Ijesha can be loosely translated as the Elephant of Ijesha. At the top of the hill on the seventh floor is the source of the water and the ancient Abake Village. It is also known as the Olumirin Waterfalls. Erin Ijesha waterfall is one of the most accessible waterfalls in Nigeria. It is less than a kilometre from the express. No wonder it is one of the most visited waterfalls in Nigeria. It is one of the many natural wonders of the world in Nigeria. The first floor is usually less populated with water gushing down from the top. It is the favourite destination for people scared of height and does not want to engage in the endurance trek. It has seven different falls, the second level is the largest with water gushing down from over 40 metres from the top of the mountain. The Erin Ijesha waterfall is the definition of natures beauty.
Nice one! Remember our group trip there in 2010. I hope the government has improved the facilities there, especially the road leading to the waterfall? The real name is OLUMINRIN WATERFALL, located in Erin-Ijesha.
IamWonderful: You are still chasing shadows and dwelling on speculation to soothe and promote your lies further. Even if either alcoholic or otherwise, wine is forbidden by God Himself
Bro, where exactly in the Bible did God forbid wine? The Bible is very clear on the use of wine (alcoholic): DO NOT ABUSE WINE. There are several references to the moderate use of wine in the Holy Scriptures, either for its dietary benefits of for its therapeutic effects ( Psalm 104:15; Esther 1:10; 2 Samuel 13:28; Ecclesiastes 2:3; 10:19; Zechariah 10:7) God never said do not use it all, except for certain individuals on certain occasions, when engaged in spiritual activities at the temple, for instance. (Leviticus 10:8, 9; Ezekiel 44:21). Take note that priests and other individuals of the Levitical lineage who were commanded not to drink wine when officiating at the temple were permitted to use on other occasions. Some were even assigned to be in charge of the wine. (1Chronicles 9:29)
In other cases, some individuals entered into a vow (oath) either voluntarily or through a prophetic pronouncement not to use wine. e.g the Nazirites and the Rechabites. (Numbers 6:2-4, 13-20; Amos 2:12; Jeremiah 35:5-11) Please do more research; there was no direct command of God in the Bible for ALL humans to abstain from wine. What the Bible DIRECTLY CONDEMNS is drunkenness and alcoholism. Drunkeness and alcoholism usually lead to mental, physical and spiritual harm. (Proverbs 23:20, 21, 34, 35; 1Corinthians 6:9-11). The Bible admonishes all Christian men and women to be moderate in their use of wine, and never to be lovers of too much wine. (1Timothy 3:1-3; Titus1:6, 7; 1Timithy 3:8; Titus 2:2- And yes again, the wine the Bible spoke of was ALCOHOLIC. The bottom line is this, we are free to use alcohol in moderation, or not to use it at all. The choice is ours. However, we shouldn't force our personal preferences on others or teach them as a command of scripture. (Revelation 22:18,19) Peace to all.

overseasnbeyond: The way forward is to go solar, The NEPA did not supply electricity for about 2 years to my house now and i don't care about that any longer because i generated light through solar. The initial cost was high but the long run benefit is so satisfying..
You are just on point. A brother of mine was so frustrated last year that he went the solar way. The initial cost was a bit high (about 800k) but his family is better for it now. 24 hours electricity. What I love the most is the quiet environment. I hate the noise of generators!
However, nothing wrong in seeking the patient's permission or getting him on board. It isn't written anywhere that individuals forfeit their personal constitutional rights to privacy all because they are admitted to a teaching hospital.
There are always better and more humane ways to do things... Courtesy is not that big a deal.
