A DNA test ordered by a Mwingi court in Kenya has confirmed that a pastor accused of defiling a 17-year-old girl in a church impregnated the victim. The test results showed that Pastor Steve Masila impregnated the Standard Seven pupil, who hails from Nguutani ward, on August 12, 2017. Mwingi senior resident magistrate Grace Kirugumi on Tuesday, September 11, granted the suspect a Sh200,000 bond with a surety of the same amount. The Arising Christian Ministries pastor appeared before the magistrate at the Mwingi law court for the release of the DNA result. Masila is accused of defiling the minor as she was mopping the church in preparation for a Sunday's service on the fateful Saturday. According to the victim, Pastor Steven found her washing the church on that fateful Saturday evening and defiled her warning her not to tell anyone, else he would harm her. "Pastor Steven found me mopping the church and raped me warning me not to tell anyone including my mom," said the victim. The court had heard that Masila, after committing the offence, threatened the minor not to disclose the matter to anyone. The minor opened up to her mother with information that it was the pastor who had defiled and impregnated her. The mother (pictured) said when they told the Pastor about the newborn he denied hurling insults at her. ‘He insulted me terming me a bad mother as opposed to what he thought if i could destroy his reputation alleging he is the dad to my grand daughter. He further went on saying to take him where we we can, ‘ the poverty stricken widow narrated in tears. Masila upon being asked he started threatening the mother that they will all die and the kid will also die since they are accusing a man of God. The pastor has denied the charges and was remanded at Waita GK prison until he settles the bond. The hearing will be on September 18. Meanwhile, it was gathered that on July 16,2018, residents of Nzawa village evicted Pastor Steven after the news made headlines last. Apart from the girl he raped and impregnated, he is said to have hooked several other girls from area to the dismay of the villagers. According to the area residents the rogue pastor has been insulting them for a while, but worsened it by threatening them that they will be dying one after the other for falsefully accusing him of tasting school going children’s forbidden fruit. Simon Mutua, a resident told journalists that they took the law into their hands and evicted the son of God from Nzawa village for this served him better. ‘This self proclaimed pastor has to leave our community now for we cannot continue living with a rapist in the name of serving God,’ another bitter resident added. Pictured below shows residents evicting the pastor; https://www.torimill.co/world/9766/dna-test-confirms-kenyan-pastor-impregnated-17-year-old-girl-he-raped-inside-church.html

A Nigerian man has exposed the plot of some educated Nigerian men to destroy the future of “beautiful”, “intelligent” and “career-oriented” women. Darren Idongesit, a Nigerian writer, met some educated friends of his at a pub and when they started discussing, he was shocked by the words that came out of their mouths. According to him, there are men whose aim is to “decommission” women who have huge prospects. They chase after the women, endure all insults and humiliation, act like the perfect man, all with the aim of getting the woman pregnant. When the woman is pregnant, they lead her on up until the time it is no longer safe to terminate the pregnancy, then they abandon her. Warning women about this plot by some men, Darren wrote; "Dear Nigerian ladies please be careful who you sleep with because what I heard ‘educated’ men talk about today is horrifying.https://www.torimill.co/viral/9737/man-exposes-plot-by-some-men-to-destroy-womens-future.html

A Zimbabwean couple, Sisasenkosi Sulu and Mandlenkosi Maphosa, failed to show up for their own wedding ceremony in order to avoid police arrest as the couple are now on the run for allegedly stealing groceries from a supermarket. According to reports, wedding guests had arrived and were waiting for the about-to-wed couple to show up, instead, a young boy of 13 and a 22-year-old lady represented the couple, reports iHarare. According to one of the guests at the wedding; “Some of the relatives did not know that Maphosa and Sisa were fugitives. Therefore, they were totally shocked when they saw a young couple walking down the aisle. “The boy who played groom was 13 years old and the one who replaced the bride was 22. One of the relatives of the couple, Nothabo Moyo said; ‘‘At first, I thought the boy was a ring bearer, but then again he was a bit old for that position. I only realised later what was going on when the young bride entered and stood next to the minor, and they were being addressed by the names of Maphosa and Sisa who were supposed to be getting married. ‘‘It was not fun at all, because after spending a lot of money on outfits and presents, it was just child’s play.” iHarare reports that Sisa was arrested in July for allegedly conniving with her fiance to steal groceries worth more than $2 000. After she was granted bail, Sisa escaped to South Africa following her partner, Maphosa, who had managed to flee. https://www.torimill.co/news/9713/zimbabwean-couple-fail-to-show-up-for-their-wedding-to-avoid-arrest.html Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique

35-year-old Kenyan woman and mother of 11, Rael Mukeku, is happily married to two husbands. According to Mukeku, both of them are aware and happy with the polygamous arrangement. Rael lives in a grass-thatched hut, the only house occupying a small rocky compound behind in Chyulu Hills National Park, Makueni County. She has spent much of the three decades-and-a-half of her life in marriage, something she does not shy away from revealing. She first got married at the age of 10. “I married my first husband in 1992 and we were blessed with our first child the following year. "I have had 10 other children since then,” Ms Mukeku told the Nation at her home, slowly opening up on how she ended up leading a lifestyle frowned upon among the Kamba and in most Kenyan societies. Juggling between rocking an infant and trying to appease three other children donning threadbare clothing, who have been crying for food, she recalls her background. She schooled up to Standard Two at a public school, worked as a maid at a neighbour’s home, and got married in the same village. “The second husband came when I had seven children already. He didn’t like taking care of the children unless some of them were his and this is how we ended up getting more children,” she reveals. She is quick to admit that she has quit binge drinking, khat chewing and snuff taking, habits, she says, she had picked up early in life from the bad company she kept and which she had carried along with her until early in August when she dropped them on a doctor’s orders. She, however, does not regret marrying the two men, who work as casual labourers, and giving birth to many children. “My only mistake is that I settled on men who are not rich, but this does not worry me much because they are caring and loving,” she chuckles, recalling a recent incident in which her husbands joined forces to care for her during an illness. “One sold all his three goats and a kid to clear the hospital bill, while the other provided the money we needed for the day to day upkeep,” she says. It was her physical needs that encouraged her to get another husband to fulfil them since the first husband, Muema Nguu,50, (pictured) is sickly, wasn’t able to. She had confided in her mother about the problem before taking in the second man. Muema also sanctioned the idea but asked to meet his would-be co-husband first as a condition “It got to a point where he advised me to identify one man and officially introduce him,” she says, echoing Mr Nguu’s account of the events leading to the compound marriage. “It was a difficult decision. It was preceded by a difficult period in which I had become weak after suffering a long illness,” says Muema, while herding his employer’s cattle in the next village. Despite a deal they had struck, which was witnessed by a local elder and one of their adult sons, Mr Nguu at first struggled to come to terms with the relationship. "Upon realising that he had impregnated her I got mad and warned that such should not be repeated”. he said. Years later and three other pregnancies down the line, he has embraced his co-husband with whom he has a lot in common. The two were orphaned at infancy and worked as casual labourers at the homes of their neighbours in their childhood after dropping out of school for lack of fees. “My relatives are not happy with this arrangement, but every time they complain I remind them that they have refused to help me raise my children,” says Mr Nguu, regretting that his children have not got a proper education. Mr Nguu says that some of his adult children are yet to come to terms with the compound marriage, something that has been worrying the extended family. “Our main worry has always been that she has been identifying them with their different fathers. Rael’s father Mukeku Nguu says he does not approve of his daughter’s polyandrous marriage. “We have always advised that she treats them equally and that she stops telling them that they belong to this or that husband,” says Mr Timothy Mutua, a neighbour and distant relative. “His children call me ‘Dad’. When he is unable to clear school fees, I get him sorted out. He reciprocates when I am in a financial mess and he is better off,” says Mr Nguu’s co-husband, Mutuku Muia, 45, who works as a farm labourer. Unlike Mr Muia, who spends all his nights at home, Mr Nguu comes home at most twice in a month. Ms Mukeku says that whenever her husbands happen to be at home at the same time “they do not fight over anything because they agreed to be in this relationship" https://www.torimill.co/world/9699/my-only-mistake-is-that-i-settled-on-men-who-are-not-rich-35-year-old-mother-married-to-two-men-says.html Credit :-The Nation.co.ke

A Nigerian woman based in Toronto has told of how she challenged cultural norms by choosing not to kneel down for her husband during her traditional marriage, and that Nigerian men are mad about it. The gorgeous Yoruba bride said she and her husband spoke to the coordinators (Alagas) ahead of the wedding and asked that they do not ask her to kneel for her husband. The wedding day came and it was the way the bride and groom wanted it. There was no mention of submission and she didn't have to kneel. She said her sister also took a stand at her own wedding which took place earlier this week. After she shared her story, some women who did the same thing came to share theirs. A few Nigerian men applauded her for challenging the status quo. But the majority of Nigerian men were angry and called her out. Some even insulted her husband for supporting her. Days ago, the story of a Benue mother who had sex with her son so she could have kids for her husband shocked Nigerians. But her case is not the first of its kind. There have been stories of mothers who got married to their sons on other continents, especially in the western world. Surprisingly, some African mothers have also engaged incest and took it further by marrying their sons or having kids by them. One Malawian mother married her son because she spent so much to train him and she didn't want those "other women who have been aborting" to come and enjoy her hard work. Below are some mothers who got married to and/or were impregnated by their sons. 1. Memory Njemani According to Zambian observer, Ms Njemani said; "I invested a lot of money in the education of my son. Why should another woman be married to him and enjoy my hard work I invested in him? That will not happen. I’m marrying my son so that we don’t empower other women who have been aborting." The two have since married and are staying together. 2. Betty Mbereko In 2014, the story of Betty Mbereko, a Zimbabwean mother who got married to her son and got pregnant for him, shocked the world. Betty, 40 at the time, who had been widowed for 12 years, married her son Farai Mbereko, 23 at the time, Ms Mbereko, who was 6 months pregnant for her son at the time they got married, said she decided it is better to marry her son because she does not want to marry her late husband’s young brothers, whom she says have been coveting her. She told the village court that the affair with her son had begun three years earlier. According to Zimbabwe Mail, she told the village court council; "Look, I strove alone to send my son to school and no one helped me. Now you see that my son is working and you accuse me of doing something wrong. Let me enjoy the products of my sweat.". Mrs. Mbereko’s son/husband said he was more than prepared to marry his mother and would pay off the bride price balance his father had left unpaid to his grandparents. He said; "I know my father died before he finished paying the bride price and I am prepared to pay it off. It is better to publicise what is happening because people should know that I am the one who made my mother pregnant." The village court asked them to immediately break off their marriage or leave his village. They chose the latter and have since left the village for an undisclosed destination. 3. Mrs. Veronica Iorshe Veronica Iorshe, 47, from Benue state, is currently pregnant with her 26-year-old son's child after she lured him to have sex with her for two months because she wanted a son for her husband. She eventually got pregnant but her husband refused to accept responsibility and drove her away. https://www.torimill.co/metro/9449/african-mothers-who-had-sexual-relations-with-their-biological-sons.html L
