According to the singer, “Cyber bullies need to expire this year. “Trending is nonsense if you’re trending for being a shitty person. Try not to say things about people on social media that you wouldn’t like to be said about you. You’re a coward if you’re an idiot bully hiding behind a keyboard’.

I was shocked when I heard the story of a man who ended his marriage with his new wife because he found out she wasn't a virgin as he had thought. I was baffled and I thought, when a woman loses her virginity before marriage, has she also lost her capacity to love and care for her husband and family or the ability to be a good wife and helpmate to her husband?.
I know some guys who say they must get married to virgins and I always ask them who would marry the ones they have screwed.
Virginity they say is the pride of a woman. I'm not going to argue that and I'm really proud of those that are able to keep theirs till marriage. This State of ours has been suffering from “fitnah” (crises) for the past 7-8 years. And it’s unanimously agreed that the only way out of this “fitnah” is for all of us to repent to Allah and seek for His forgiveness as well as His spiritual intervention, only by doing so can we get out of the current disaster our people have been suffering from.

But unfortunately opposite is the case, as almost 70-80% of our youths have suddenly and messively resort to a newly emerged football gambling that is called “Naija Bet”, in which a person predict the results of the 5-6 football matches that are yet to be played by putting N100 or N200 and that if he/she guess the results correctly he/she would end up winning some certain amount of money.

And every critical thinker knows that such gambling encourages theft, burglary, enmity among youth, and it also discourages those involved from going to school. (subhanallah wal’iyazu billah).

Allah SWT has warned the Prophet saw against dangers involved in gambling in a number of occasions in the Glorious Qur’an. Allah SWT quoted to have said:
“They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say, ‘In them is GREAT SIN”

(Qur’aan 2:19). He (SWT) also warned the believers in yet another verse by saying: “O believers! Intoxicants and gambling, worshipping stones and divination by arrows are impure of shaytan’s handiwork: refrain from such abomination that ye may prosper.”
(Qur’aan 5:90).

Therefore, going by these afore mentioned Qur’anic verses, one can simply realize the simple fact that any society that are involved in such abominable activities are directly testing the patience of Allah SWT.

“Wallahi” if care is not taken, we are going to witness yet another disastrous anarchy, a situation where we will have thousands of our youths dropped out of schools and I think you are aware of the consequences.

May Allah SWT guide us to the right path.

One Nigerian guy is currently at a confused state right and needs the candid advise of y’all.

So after battling to gain admission into a university in the country, our reader finally got admission into DELSU but unfortunately, had to be screened out because of wrong JAMB combinations.

He was too distraught to tell his parents, who could have had a minor breakdown – cause they’d been ecstatic about his admission at the time – and so went on with the flow of being admitted and received all the support he needed for school.

He planned on trying admission again this year but wasn’t so lucky and now his folks thinks he’s going to his second year and guilt has set in and he’s worried whether or not to tell them.

“I’m born into the average Nigerian family. I’ve been seeking admission since 2014, all to no avail.. I finally got admitted to Delsu in 2016, my parents out of excitement announced it to the whole world.

But on getting to sch, I was screened out coz of wrong jamb subject and name errors on my credentials. I couldn’t summon courage to tell them coz my mum especially will be heart broken.

I collected all the fees and house rent and traveled, i kept them till this year tho and reapplied, but my name didn’t come out. I’m f-cked!. My parents think I’m in 200L now.

My dad has also given me school fees and house rent for this year, but everything is still intact. If I venture to tell my dad, I know that man too well, he might kill me or disown me. And my mum might just loose it she’s really fragile.

Superstar singer and actor, Folarin Falana aka Falz The Bahd Guy, has shared his bitter experience with SARS Officials following the #EndSARS movement launched by private Nigerian citizens.

The singer who had an interview with NET in preparation for his first concert ‘The Falz Experience’, said;
“On this particular day, they spotted us somewhere in Lagos and double-crossed us, they then asked us to come down from our car.

My manager tried to have a conversation with them but before he knew it, they gave him a dirty slap, he was close to tears. They said they would arrest us and take us their station. I wanted to sue them, not as a lawyer, but solely because they violated my human rights, but then, it is really sad that they think because they have guns, they think they are in a position of power and they use these to oppress poor Nigerians.”

He also suggested a solution;

While the issue of tithing appears to be causing ripples and division among Nigerians, an investigative journalist and writer, Femi Owolabi, has come to the defence of some pastors and what they do with the tithes and offerings they get from the church.

Owolabi took to his Facebook account to speak on the trending issue.

Below is what he posted…
I live around Yaba area of Lagos. From Sabo down to Iwaya, you see boreholes donated by Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM.

Many months ago, I was working on a report and I needed to carry out some laboratory tests. When I got to University of Lagos’ Chemical Engineering lab, I was directed to the university’s central lab which I gathered is the largest and most equipped. Entering, I saw that the lab was donated by Daniel Olukoya, founder of MFM who is actually an alumnus of the school.

As much as the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, embarrasses itself on the pages of newspaper, CAN runs one of the largest displaced persons camps in the northeast. For three years that I have been mobilizing relief materials for displaced persons in the northeast, aside individuals and a few NGOs, Christian organizations have been a larger donor of relief materials. My phone would ring, and the caller goes, “I am Pastor JJ. We have bags of cloths, please how do we get these to the displaced persons in the northeast?”

Charis Family Church, in 2015, opened its facility as a collection center for relief materials. The pastor, Bayo Adeyinka, and a team raised almost a million naira to sort logistics.

Just yesterday, another pastor whose church’s team once gave me bags of relief materials for IDPs, told me they have 33k left in the account, and he asked what this can sort for the IDPs. He also wants us to meet this week so he can drop with me, bags of relief materials.

A man reached out to me many months ago. He needed information on how he can move 1000 cartons of flour (or wheat?) from Lagos to any of the IDPs camps in the northeast. I did a check on the man, he is a pastor.

In Lagos here, the Catholic Mission and a couple of other missionary hospitals are always on medical outreach to the IDPs.

I understand there is an ongoing debate on whether or not paying tithe is a Christian practice. Sincerely, those arguing against come with strong points. And sadly, responses from Daddy GO and others are so weak, far from convincing.

Get it right, it is the duty of Lagos Water Board to provide water for Lagosians, but MFM now shares in this responsibility. It is the duty of NEMA and the Refugees’ Commission to attend to the victims of insurgency, but CAN and a couple of other Christian organizations share largely in this.

So, above all, if I am paying tithe or giving church my money, I do so because of some of these things I have mentioned in this post.

An Egyptian Lawyer, Nabih al-Wahsh has been sentenced to 3 years in jail for saying that women who wear ripped jeans should be raped in punishment.

According to BBC , the lawyer made the statement on a TV Panel show in October during a debate on a draft law of prostitution.

He said:
Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing? I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her.

“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass them,” he said. He added that “protecting morals is more important than protecting borders.”

The National Council for Women’s Rights said they were a “flagrant call” for rape and violated “everything in the Egyptian constitution.”

The council has also filed a complaint with the Supreme Council for Media Regulation about the Oct. 19 broadcast.

According to The BBC , Wahsh is known to incite outrage he previously called the Holocaust “imaginary” and is a self-described proud anti-Semite.

“If I see any Israeli, I will kill him,” he said during a separate TV appearance.
