Kolade354: According to dimarzio, roma doesn't want to sell rajda to chelsea so we've turn our attention to witsel, and I think kante will stay @leicetser for one more season. Do you think umtiti is better than kadliou koulibaly of napoli? DiMarzio is a speculative and tenuous source. I'm thinking Umtiti as a leftback, not a centreback. Those Italian clubs can go stuff themselves with all their overpriced players. All Italian clubs are thieves and I'm not interested in any player from Serie A |

Kolade354: Chelsea have made a move for witsel. Where you hear that one? That would be welcome. I would have also liked a move for Naby Keita but he's just moved to Leipzig. I also read that Naingollan and Kante are still in negotiations (I only want Kante of the two, can't be having too many short men) For the defence I would like Jonathan Tah for CB and Umtiti for LB/LCB. |

Southern Kaduna have given an apt summary of the grazing reserves issue.
Whoever wrote that piece did a great job expressing the absurdness of the idea, and the feelings of victims of herdsmen.
Whether herders like it or not, they must be dragged kicking and screaming into 21st century cattle rearing practices not roaming around destroying farms and killing farmers and villages who challenge them. |

It astounds me that some dunderheads think the act of kneeling absolves Fayose.
When they said the average Nigerian IQ is 67, now I see what they mean.
The fact a grown man kneels to beg Fayose shows what a tout and thug he is, and how much decency and self respect we have lost for ourselves as a people that we are quick to kneel down when any big man is angry with us.
Fayose is still a thief and his bank account records still show that the money was transferred from Obanimoros son. |

CFCman: Group B of African WC qualifying zone
Zambia Cameroon Nigeria Algeria.
Guys, do you think the Super Eagles will qualify from this group?
This is arguably Nigeria's toughest ever World cup qualifying group! Yes we will qualify out of this group because we will take it serious from the start. It is when you see us paired with Tanzania, Angola and Burundi that you should be worried. Then you'll see them going into the first 2 matches with no coach contracted and only local players called up to the squad. Before they wake up, they are too far behind to qualify. |

raumdeuter: Surely what concerns most is their personal economy and safety
I support Bush because you cant have an economy if you are not safe, and Bush was here minding his business when Osama and his Al qaeda friends came to look for trouble.
Also as per student loans, If you are going to use the education to make a fortune why not pay for it like every investment in life where you get a return.
Free education then I would start studying irrelevant and useless courses that wont pay my bills just because its free Bush overstepped his mark by going to Iraq. Osama is not in Iraq. Gun control is actually what concerns my personal safety. I can't be reaching for my Ruger 3 inch barrel snub everytime a nigga look at me funny. Infact like I said Yankee is already so far right that nobody worries me except anyone trying to take it further right like Donald Trump or someone trying to go way left like Bernie Sanders. Your income tax rate is in the 28% range for professionals compared to UK at 40%. I would not even pay much mind to tax in the US at all if I were voting cos you already got it for the lowlow. What pisses me off is rank socialists in the UK like Jeremy Corbyn and Ed Milliband asking for even more contribution to pay for lazy twats benefits and to absorb more immigrants, like say money grows on trees. These are the kind of niggas that bankrupt countries like Greece, Spain, Portugal where everybody wants benefits they cannot fund. |

raumdeuter: What are you beliefs on
Gay marriage Family Taxes Welfare Warfare Gun control abortion and other ideological issues All these things no concern me enough to use my vote on them. A President cannot change gun control laws nor Gay matriage. I would consider these for Senate election only, and Gun Control would be my no1 issue amongst them if I know it can be achieved. When it comes to Presidential vote, I only vote on my pocket. However my pocket may also include student loans and Universal Healthcare for my family so it won't be on taxes alone. Every single Democratic candidate in the last 20 years is acceptable to me except Bernie Sanders. Mitt Romney and Paul McCain would also be acceptable but not George Bush because I no too like unnecessary war. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 3:12pm On Jun 24, 2016 |
raumdeuter: In most cases low income people who support Democrats thinks its a way of taking money from the rich and giving more of it to the poor, I intend to be rich and I dont want my money taken and given to people who didn't put in as much hard work or make the sacrifice I made in life
Your ideologies in most cases dont 100% align with one party
e.g I support abortion right, I support climate change, I support some form of gun control (Liberal views)
I support lower taxes, I don't support welfare and entitlements, I support national security and most wars US goes into, I support the traditional family of man & woman (Conservative views) They say a Young man who grows up as a Conservative is a heartless person. But as he grows older, if he doesn't become conservative, he is a stupid person. When you are young, you need student loans, student grants, lower House Prices to get on the ladder etc (Socialist ideals) so become a socialist. As you grow older, you want to keep what you have made so you need less taxation, more protection of your houses & investments; and you turn conservative. I did the full spectrum. . . . from Socialist in my teenage years, to Democrat to Conservative. But I would never be a Republican if I lived in The States. American Democrats are further right of British Conservatives. |

SailorXY: I don't think it will play out this way. First the referendum should be for all regions, not just an area. This will present opportunity for these sub-groups to form alliance with any other each feel comfortable with or simply stay on their own. The main clog in wheel of progress for Nigeria today is distrust & this breeds placing incompetence ahead of merit. I can't even begin to think countless examples of this paddy paddy over merit in the small space I manage.
Secondly when these smaller groups form alliances with those they feel share same ideas these 'godfathers' will die a natural death! The new nations will immediately be in direct healthy competition with each other & there will always be business relations between them. Acceptance is easier because nobody is staring @ his neighbor suspiciously & with contempt.
Here it will be difficult to play the religious or tribal card. A man from Badagry can team with another from Osogbo & tell a kingpin like Tinubu to go to hell for the good of their unborn generation. Same will apply against an Amaechi or a Tompolo.
Any sabotage will be met with co-ordinated resistance from all in one voice.
Not like we have today, some group of soldiers somewhere loyal to Boko haram's cause within same encampment & very ready to sabotage missions without thinking twice cuz it's 'our' people while another group of soldiers in same camp with morales above rooftops eager to move into northern cities, Boko Haram or not, to exert some form of 'revenge'. The same happens in the East, South & Middle Belt.
How can things work that way?? My brother, the average Nigerian man is so far removed from these scenarios you are painting here. Funny enough, the regions were better organised in 1966. As things stand, being a believer in Federalism, I trust Federal Govt more than State Govt. State Governors currently have all powers of Federalism except Police, Army and Fiscal Federalism. Regardless, revenue allocations under the current structure are not far from what they would be under Fiscal Federalism. The States have mismanaged what they have received completely. The only Govts guaranteed to pay wages these days are Federal Govt and about 6 states of the Federation. We can't be screaming Federalism and holding the centre to account when we have not impacted our local Govts that have failed us. They have failed in every aspect handed to them, from sanitation to security to fiscal management of what they have given. Niggas like Tinubu ain't even our problem. He instituted the only Govt running on Federalist principles today - and that is Lagos State. If Lagos gets no Federal allocation for the next 5 years, they will be alright because their IGR dwarfs Federal Allocation by 3 to 1. We need to hold our localities to account and get ourselves organised and accountable first. |
