Maths and English is the lifeblood of education. Any decent secondary education curriculum must be geared at least 35% toward these two subjects. |
ayanle456: i am indeed a somali female... lolWho wants to hit on you? We Bantu men don't score in wrong hole. ![]() You think we dont know that Somali women mostly prefer a.nal due to circumcision that doesn't allow them to enjoy vag.inal sex? ![]() |
Hmmm, this cassava bread and Abakiliki rice must be really expensive considering Aso Rock has not remediated any of its N1bln food budget back to the treasury. |
What the fvck type of bulls1t is this. Solidarity strike ?Because the Lagos government didn't recall its employees? What business is it of yours who the Lagos government decides to hire or fire? These doctors are all crazy. The unions 100%, absolutely must be broken. Evil and monstrous entities, unions.
Shut the hell up! If you dont know how key Unions are to civil society and Governance, best remain quiet. Where you around in the 90's when the Unions brought IBB's regime to standstill? |
Where are those eediots who fought tooth and nail to defend GEJ's grossly corrupt and abysmal fiscal performance in Bayelsa? Dem go bury head for sand like say them no see the thread. No worry, una just dey start. The dude has been 2 years in power now and this would be his umpteenth trip to the World Bank to ask for emergency loan even despite starting with a surplus. Whilst Buhari who paid off Nigeria's debt in 18 months during the worst economic crisis this country has ever faced at (early 80's collapse of oil-market) is a "terrorist". No worry, GEJ go continue to terrorize una belle. Fools! |
Dont even think about it. GEJ is PDP man/ chief election-rigger to the core. We all remember how Yaradua sent GEJ especially to rig Ekiti election in 2009. It was one of the most blatant election rigs in Nigerian history. |

Hey man, it seems khat (Somalian gworro) should be reclassified as a class A drug!!! |
Beaf: General Tunde Idiagbon was a no nonsense, unsmiling, morally upright, disciplined guy. A man of few words. Please make una leave the mad man Beaf. He is prone to such meltdowns. Maybe his Jamo wife left him as per se he no get better thing doing than type nonsense all day. The frustrated man is so confused, he tagged Idiagbon as "the late great Idiagbon" We thank God for the greatness of that Government whether you ascribe it to Idiagbon or Buhari (who gave Idiagbon carte blanche to enact the reforms Beaf so much likes). If only Nnamadi Sambo could do the same for GEJ since he is incapable of doing anything but stealing Nigeria dry, buying out every Tom, Dick and Harry, wiping out the Nations accounts, putting the Nation in renewed debt; and failing to pay monthly allocations to two tiers of Government and NYSC corpers despite presiding over the largest oil revenues Nigeria has ever received even accounting for inflation. |
Church business is not above the Nigerian condition, namely corruption, nepotism, tribalism and incompetence. . . . but worst of all, hiring underqualified people to sensitive posts just because "the church only hires members". Go to any large Church and you will see the same thing. I am not surprised that they transfer these inefficiencies to their other businesses such as the running of schools and health-centres. |
I was heartened to discover that Sam Hutchinson is eligible for the UCL final. So no dulling if Cahill doesnt make it! Any thought of playing Bosingwa in CB should be jettisoned. Mario Gomez is the type of striker that would eat him for breakfast aerially. |
. Amangala - No Hard Feelings Captain Amangala was in philosophical mood today when FPL News spoke to him about the H2H cup final defeat to Kokomaster. In a considered response, Amangala said "One man cannot have it all. Kokomaster has been a consistent manager over the last 3 years and deserves some reward for his efforts. Ipukulu Marines and Kokomaster have been the two best teams this year, and since Ipukulu won the main league it is only fair for Kokomaster to take home the consolation prize. Afterall, even the dogs eat some crumbs under the master's table" This is the second season in a row that Ipukulu Marines have lost in the final of the H2H Cup, after losing the cup to TBoogie last year. Ipukulu Marines have an impressive record in the last 3 years of H2H competition which reads: Winner, Finalist, Finalist, but when asked whether it hurt to lose the final twice in a row, Amanagala responded by saying "Well, its not like we havent won that competition before. Besides, no other team have a better record in that competition. I would like to focus on our outstanding achievement of winning the main league which is the pinnacle of managerial achievement." Asked to comment on the 111 point swing Ipukulu Marines achieved over Chigurh FC, Amangala said "well Miguel Munoz is a fool who counted his chickens before they hatched. Nine weeks ago, he was 51 points ahead, and he finished 60 points behind. Thats what Ipukulu Marines does to competition". Pressed on whether rumours linking him to Proflificcockblockers are true, Amangala responded: "They lack the money, players, fanbase or prestige to entice me. They're not even in Europa League next year talkless of Champions League. Forget that story abeg." Umaru Dikko FPL News |
When some of us pointed out the wanton and wasteful spending overseen by GEJ in Bayelsa, we were shouted down. Now states cannot get allocation, NYSC members cannot be paid and even the buses promised as a palliative measure to subsidy withdrawal have not been paid for. Even guys like OBJ and Yara who ruled when Nigerian oil capacity was halved by militancy never failed to meet their obligations. Thats what you get with GEJ's style of "Government by Ghana-must-go-bag" Even Okonjo cant help him. |
How come these same Governors were not in position to demand kobo from Obasanjo? GEJ entered unholy pact with these Governors to rig elections for him and he will forever be in their thrall. |
Jarus: Mukina, are you attending this event?Does Muki now reside in Nigeria? |
Eziachi, First of all, my sincere prayers for your return to full health. You are one of my cherished elders on NL. Second of all, It is very necessary to sack underperforming staff. . . however. . . You shoulda got the cleaning company to redeploy the lady and put them on final warning before withdrawing the contract. The owner of the cleaning company is a business man just like you and the actions of this lady cost the company fixed income even though they had little jurisdiction over the ladies actions. If contracts were torn up everytime an employee misbehaves, nobody would have any contracts in UK. You have to raise complaints with the company and they will deal with the lady themselves. If they continue sending substandard staff, then you hammer them. |
A nailbiting finish to H2H to match the EPL season! Kokomaster was way ahead going into injury time. . . but a goal by Aguero put Ipukulu Marines level. . . Aguero then gets booked to leave Kokomaster 2 points ahead. . . this will go down to bonus points!!! Hopefully, Aguero gets some decent bonus cos Kokomaster is 70% sure to claim the H2H |
Hoooooow maaaaaaaaaarkeeeet!!! ![]() |
Its crunch time. . . Ipukulu Marines going for the double. . . cant believe Johnny Evans is playing. . . just put him on my bench last night. . . |
Are you sure about that sir ? the last time I checked Your Government taxed her citizen up to 35% on thier income... That is not fair on my side...
And our Government (UK) tax us 40%. . . |
Well at least he used his degrees and worked as a professor. What he did in his spare time is no one's business. It is interesting to note that the great prof could not tackle any Maths or Science degrees. |
The 373 new doctors are a disgrace to their profession. Member of such a noble profession should not be crossing the picket line. I dont know what Fash's budgetary constraints are, but even unskilled labourers in the developed world would be insulted to earn the kind of wages House officers were earning. A man doesnt sacrifice 7 years of his life (10 if you count strikes), long sleepless nights in the teaching hospital and all sorts just to have his employment rights trampled like a common labourer. |
Please abeg - Nigerians, Nigerian webmasters and Nigerian journalists - you cannot resume a job you are starting for the first time. |
You can have stew with stir fry (rather than rice). Beans is very good, especially non-porridge beans Suya is very good Shaki also good. . .dont eat the fatty bits Unripe plantain Peppersoup |
^^^Some things never change. . . . 2 semi-final defeats to me in a row. . . Meanwhile, no one can claim the H2H was based on luck this season. The top 4 scoring players in the main league made the semi-final, and the top 2 players made the final. Ipukulu Marines vs Kokomaste FC would be the ultimate classic. . . Kokomaster cannot catch Ipukulu Marines in the league, but he can snatch the Cup from him. . . . or will Ipukulu Marines complete a historic double to become the most successful FPL manager of all time with 3 titles out of a total of 6 contested?. . . .STAY TUNED!!! |
nateevs: My verdict . . . .Sharrrrraaaaaap!!! Stick your verdict where the sun dont shine. Motivation is the key factor in football. Anyone who cant see that Liverpool would be ten times more motivated to win than Chelsea needs to see a psychologist. How could they pass up the chance to revenge their cup final defeat infront of their home fans against a Chelsea on auto-pilot due to Cup commitments. Best believe that if League position was the goal during RDM's manic tenure, we would be in 3rd position right now. AVB who had all of December, January and February without any pressure could not squeeze pips out an orange, dropping points every which way to nonentities. Chelsea had an epic run of games with 5 consecutive games against Barca, Arsenal, Tottenham etc and came through unscathed. That was where their motivation lies. Infact we have been playing reserve team in the league for the last 7 weeks, indicating that we are mentally geared up for the Cups. Schizophrenic Coogar started the night arguing the right for RDM to rest his players, now he is arguing the opposite. I said at the start of the season that AVB is Europa Cup King and will take Chelsea into Europa Cup. . . and he has done just that!!! But thank God that we will win UCL final. ![]() |
@Ibime Na oversabi dey koba u!! Haba since when did it become compulsory for all central midfielders to have technique?? How can you even say he lacks technique?? Even after clarifying what his role should ordinarily be and you are still yarning megedefegede! How skilful or technical are the likes of Scott Parker even Michael Essien was never known for his skill or technique ditto Suley Muntari!! The fact is he is still a work in progress i am not even a fan but for you to suggest that he can never suitably play that central midfield role is utter Ludacris
You fail to get the point again. . . Scott Parker and Essien are central midfielders with all the qualities a central midfielder should have and which I listed earlier. . . Ramires DOES NOT have those central midfield qualities. . . watch well abeg. . . |
Hey man, thats what happens when you have numerous successes. . . you lose count! Im sure even DD has lost count of the amount of times he's ruined the FA Cup and other big nights. Now please tell us how many times RVP has featured prominently on such occassions. . . forget all this diversionary tactics. |
Nigga park well!! My point is simple! You have been his harshest critic and he has proven you wrong in more ways than one this season! He is not a possession type midfielder he is more of a box to box nigga who would fit in depending on the system in operation
You are the one who needs to park well. Lets examine your statement - "he has proven me wrong. . ." In what exactly? (1.) That he has pace? or (2.) That he has energy? Or you mean he has proven me wrong that "he does not possess half of the technique to play central midfield" Pick your point of contention and stop chatting wuruwuru. Was he not "producing" when I was criticising him? Or do you think he only started scoring goals two weeks ago? Ramires was widely hailed as "Chelsea player of the season" and "2nd top-scorer" even when I was criticising him. Now this is the point you still miss re: your quote above. . . ."box-to-box" midfielders must possess some qualities ie simple ability to receive the ball, protect it with their body, spin-away from opponent, pass the ball correctly, keep possession. . . . and not run blindly with the ball through central midfield like a headless chicken. . . and dont run away from a square pass in midfield. Don't confuse running away from the ball with running box-to-box. Box-to-box midfielders only start making their runs when the ball is worked out wide. Until then, they play passes with their team-mates in midfield. . . unlike Ramires who starts running away as soon as Mikel/Romeu receive the ball. There is no box-to-box midfielder in the world without these qualities I've listed. . . except Ramires. Hence I said Ramires should be deployed on the wing or full-back where his only technical responsibility is to run onto diagonal through-passes (which is what he was doing even when he was playing central midfield) or to harrass opposition wingers. . . .and he is doing it well. We just thank God he has been removed from central midfield where he messes every play up. I wanted him out of my midfield and now he's out of the midfield, Im enjoying his game. Its simple as that. Nothing personal. Even in the same post I jocularly claimed that I have better technique than him, I still put him on the wings in my team to play Barca. I know his assets and I know his liabilities. Dont preach like he "proved something to me". I know my footie. When Nateevs told BlueDiva that Ramires is the central midfield version of Theo Walcott, it didnt even take 3 weeks for BlueDiva to come back and say Nateevs was right after studying his game. I know that Ramires produces good match-changing efforts (like Theo Walcott does) but when we point out Ramires' liabilities, dont come here preaching to us like "I told you so". We know what the dude is capable of from day one. . . just keep him away from our central midfield. Ramires was still scoring goals when I was his harshest critic. dyabman: @ibimeI thought you said Ramires is better than Busquets. So you've gone from comparing Ramires to Busquets to comparing Ramires technique to Ibime? You even took it serious meaning maybe you even consider your technique to be superior to Ramires, no? ![]() You know players technique is poor when fans watching start thinking "I play pass this guy" ![]() |
Of course a mugu like you could misconstrue 7 goals in 7 finals as anything. According to you it may be goals in 5 finals. To another person, it could be hattrick in one game, and other sperate goals. |
ritchboy: 7 finals? Ibime brain-farting as per usual.5 FA Cup and 2 Carling Cup finals. I would let you off though as two of them were at Millenium Stadium Cardiff. #splittinghairs |
If you didnt captain RVP. . . you're on a long thing! ![]() Where's that boy Coogar? How can he justify moving from 51 points ahead to 60 points behind in just 9 weeks? Instead of the ninja to concentrate on holding his second spot against Kokomaster, he was busy trying to overtake Ipukulu Marines. ![]() |
