Do you know that traditional marriage is mostly done for bride price presentation?

There won't be need for that if there's no bride price.

First name for trad marriage is bride price, no bride price no marriage. Sometimes in the euphoria of seeing their beloved daughters get married the mother and father might decide to expunged a large chunk of the traditional rites due them from the would be husband in order to assist in the smooth running of the ceremony. This is mostly done when the groom is not well to do and the father in-law is wealthy. In most cases the parents would decide to cut down the expenses needed to foot the bride price bills . That woman's story is not true, price price contains different rites not only limited to the nuclear family( husband and wife) but also the extended family and other things contained therein. Even the husband and wife decides to waive their rites for the would be husband that doesn't mean the pride price has not been sorted out. How would someone do trad without bride price when trad in itself is pride price, unbelievable.

Even if family offends me, if I am in a position to lift every member of the family will. Family before friends and then strangers, nothing takes away family in that ranking other.

Akeredolu was nearly booted out , just because Buni wasn't joined that is why he still stays at the Government house. Other litigants won't make such error, Nigerian politicians and impunity is like bread and butter.

Although I'm not a politician, as a political observer and concerned citizen, I deem it fit to counter Uncle Kola that it is the opposite of what he said that's actually happening to party administration in the country.
Perhaps he is not in the country or didn't hear that in the just concluded local council chairmanship elections held in Lagos and Ogun, PDP didn't not win any chairmanship post out of the 40 local councils that exist in both states. And indeed out of 377 councillorship positions, PDP could only win just 1 post in Lagos. It was a sweeping victory for the APC.
Fast forward this stats and stance to 2023 for forthcoming elections, it is quite oblivious that the APC stands the better chance to sweep all elections in the most populous state in Nigeria, Lagos and Ogun where they have majority. Giving the fact that the APC is wholly victorious in the local council elections, they would translate this to influence and win elections in other SW states.
It is pertinent to know that the PDP is running errands for the APC in Lagos and at the national level, because they are completely destabilized and cannot organize nor manage their members and implement party manifesto due to lack of a central organizing committee in the party. This has resulted in the lost of many of their loyal members to APC, which is very apparent in Lagos, Ogun, SS and in the north where many PDP loyalists are defecting to APC to increase their chances of winning elections in 2023.
Uncle Kola should do his findings very well before feeding us with trash from his own oversight and ineptitude. God bless Nigeria!

Using stats from elections conducted by Governors to make assertions regarding general elections really shows you really don't know what's is happening in Nigerian political spheres. The only thing that resembles election a little is the one conducted by INEC which is even done with so much irregularities, state electoral commissions don't organize elections , they write and announce winners.
What Kola said is right ,just watch as it starts unfolding from Anambra elections. It was just by technicalities that Akere still stays in the government house else he would have been booted out. Other litigants won't make same mistake Counsel to Jegede made, at this point it is dicy for the APC truth be told.
An opposition that has seen these mistakes of a ruling party shouldn't join issues with them but work tirelessly behind the scene to put machineries in place to send them parking , I haven't seen this in PDP.

The article was not referring to how powerful Individuals of a party is , but the legality of that party to function. Unfortunately, APC just shot itself on the foot with that supreme court judgement. Any decision arising going forward may be challenged in court .

True Amaechi would have discontinued with it but for obvious reasons he continued even when the project PPP backed out foreseeing the inviability of the project. You think about it if a project that would cover over 100km has gulped more than 50b at 1.5km where there was no bridge, no much obstacles how much would be required when it gets to high dense area like Rumuola?
Let's blame Wike less here that project was ill thought-out.

The cost is over the roof, that's crazy. 1.50km for 50billion, then 100km will gulp over 3.3trillion at 2014 value of the naira .

I am really pained that Wike abandoned this epoch-making project. This project would have put Port Harcourt and Nigeria on the map as the first of its kind, but the motor park, crack-abusing governor started playing senseless politics with it.

It is really dicy, for me I would have completed it. if you check how much he would put into the project for a trekable distance you might not blame him totally for prioritizing other projects. Note the Governor completed all other projects of his predecessor except this one .... Politicians don't go to jail even they steal so badly , not sending thieves to jail is not a deterrence to would be thieves .
