I've been coming to NL for a long time now but I just opened an an account here not quite long ago.Pls,I need your advice(no insults,pls).I'll try to make it brief,so pls take things easy on me:We fell in love about 2yrs and 10months ago when I had admission into a higher institution,although he wasn't my first love but I can say he really got my heart that I don't want him to go.I had gotten into various relationships when I got out of secondary school(had no bf in secondary sch.),but I was just a player,playing with the hearts of those guys(not intentional),because I realised that most of them were after sex,I dumped them after testing the levels at which they can control their body,I made them reach climax through kissing and romancing and leave them high,then I'll break the relationship.Infact,I've been in a day-relationship.when I met him at my first year,first semester,I was having 3 guys already and he became the 4th,but I later left the other guys for him.And since then,I've always found it difficult to accept any other man.He is a handsome and nice guy.He later disvirgined me after about 6months of dating(can't explain how).he alwAys tell me that he loves me but whenever I introduce him to someone,they will tell me that he looks like a player,that he is more handsome to be true(I wasn't attracted by his looks cos we started dating before we met).Although,I've never caught him with a girl but whenever I checked his bbm,it always give me a doubt,I tried every possible method to catch him but he always appear to be clean.When I graduated,I do travel down to his place without telling him and funny enough,I always meet my stuffs the exact way it was,even up to my undies*.But,I still don't know if I can trust him.I'm sorry for the long and boring story,but please understand my plight,I don't have friends,I don't keep female friends,and. I have this friend who is working in one of lagos big companies.
He asked me to advise him about buying a land or getting a car.

I advised him to go for a choiced land and forget buying a car, since he is living very close to his office. He insisted on buying a car and i was so amgry with him cus, why would he ask for advise while he is bent on doing what appease his mind?

I went to visit family members where I used to stay, then decided to quickly say hi to my secondary school friend who stays in the same neighborhood.

On getting to his place he was drinking a mixture of alcohol, we talked about old times and the future. This guy keeps drinking the mixture so I couldn't help but ask him why he's drinking that at afternoon, he told me that a girl is coming to visit him and he "needs to finish work", he went on to tell me of his escapades with this girl, I just laughed and said he won't change.

Just as I was about leaving the girl called him that she is almost at the gate. I was going to leave immediately since his place is a self contain and I don't want it to look awkward that I am leaving because she came. I was right outside his door when the girl walked into the compound, and for a moment I thought my mind was playing tricks on me. This same girl is a girlfriend to a close friend of mine where I live, this girl from what I know is the decent type, my guy's serious date, whenever she is around we would be like ah madam don show.

Thinking about the details and escapeds this my secondary school friend just told me, I couldn't believe she is the same person. Long story short, I don't know how she got my number, she had been calling me, when I refused to talk to her she sent me a message on whatsapp saying she doesn't know why she did what she did, and that she loves her BF what what.

I have been cheated on and thanks to a NL who was able to help me go through that phase, I know how much it hurts and I don't want to be the one to put my friend through same pain. Should I just keep quite and hope he finds out or should I tell him?

Life in Nigeria is hard sha that some good news can be like bad news. Recently a friend told me how a man fainted when his wife gave birth to triplets in the hospital. Dont really know if its true but from what i heard, the man and his friend took his wife to the hospital when the wife was in labour. After she gave birth the doctors told the man his wife gave birth to triplets. Instead of the man to jubiliate like other men, he started lamenting about where he would get money to cater for the kids in this hard time. In some minutes he fainted and his friend called the nurses to attend to him. After waking, he was still lamenting that he didnt want his chidren to suffer. He said he wanted just one kid at the moment not 3. His friend supported him with the little he had, and called their pastor and told him what happened since they worship in the same church. The pastor supported them and also told his well to do members to support them too. That was how my friend got to know about it. I was like poverty bad o. To other people that would have been good news. Guys read and learn. this happened to one of my cousins. according to what he told me he met this girl far back in 2005 by then his business was going on well, he was rich. this girl claimed to love him so much and the guy fell for it. they were like love birds inseperable and with the kind of love the girl showed him he never believed this girl will ever leave him. after dating for about four years the girl got pregnant and gave birth to baby girl. he went to see her family he did marriage introduction. his wife to be really had passion for education and always wished she came from a rich home where she will be sent to school. so after the marriage introduction the guy decided to send the girl back to school with the belief that she would be his wife. every one in the family kicked against it, his mother advised him to futher his since he stopped @ secondary level but he said he wont be able to combine bussiness and studies since his bussiness involves travelling alot. The were both living together and and planned to get married after the girl graduates. The girl graduated last 2 years and along the line the guy lot a huge sum of money to fraudsters which is really affecting his business. This dude is not as rich as before. To the cut the long story short this girl left him without any quarel. The guy travel and came back to see that she has packed all her belongings. But when we agree that we ain't equal and want the men to do their job that makes them "the head" they say marriage is a partnership.

Marriage is NOT a partnership.

In business, we have debtors and creditors. In marriage, a woman is a creditor, whilst the man is a debtor. Calm down, I'll explain.

Let's get down to the way "God" ordained it. 1 Timothy 5 : 8 and 1 Timothy 3: 4 let us understand that IT'S A MAN'S JOB to provide for his wife and children in all ramifications include finance. The same bible that make the man the head is the same bible that makes it clear that a man is to provide for his family not the wife and husband. It's the husband alone.

Excuse me, a man has an idea, he shares wth his wife if the wife is not ok with the idea, no one cares the man makes the final decision even if the wife is not ok. So that authority the man has over his wife, the price to pay is to fend for his wife and kids in all ways. Even as small as making her hair. Any damage, the man is to bear the damage in shield of the woman.

1 Peter said a man should not cover his hair in the church as his head is the glory of God and the woman's hair is the glory of the man. So, now tell me, how is marriage a partnership?

I'm atheist, let me leave the religious sector. Let's get down to logic. A man getting married to a woman is incuring an expense. The desire for children and what not. A man is to cater for his children's finances ! Not the wife.

So when I say that a man must have a house and a car should not be taken literally. In the financial world before loans are granted, depending on the creditor, a requirement is a house and a car. Not like the house is a collateral or the car is, but it's actually a yardstick in estimating the probability of repaying the loan. A man must have a house and a car doesn't necessarily mean it must be a physical car. The point is, a man must have money worth enough to get a house and car before finding himself a wife.

I know you gonna ask what is the woman's quota? Yes a woman helps her husband in his endeavours. A companion and a helper. A woman's job is to help take care of the children and household while the man brings the funds.

So a man is a debtor. A man owes his woman and owes his children.

Marriage is no partnership. Everyone has his or her duty.
