If you go to a public hospital, it is cheaper. I took out a tooth for 7k in Randle hospital last year September 2023.

A replacement tooth in the same hospital costs 7k or so..

Before taking out the tooth, I tried to do a root canal treatment to save the tooth at the same hospital. Cost was 35k... I was supposed to crown the tooth after the RCT with 50k, but I was ill-advised by my friend. He said the RCT was good and could last a long time without the crowning. The crowning is more like a case that is worn to the tooth like clothes, phone case, screen guard etc, for protection since it is in a solid state but still fragile.... I Sha didn't do it...

However, I was forced to remove the same tooth a year later after biting stone in suya😭😭.

If they have certified and experienced engineer/inspectors ... many buildings would not even get off the ground. Three storey building with this foundation?.... dig it up and start all over again. This wall... you are laying sand blocks?... take the wl down... start over using correct blocks. If this is done... no need for buildings to be collapsing.... this is the root of the problem.

there's no one who would come to this thread and not read at least 6 pages of comments/opinions. This has been an eye-opener. Somehow somehow, no experiences are the same. People who travel abroad mostly go to raise the bar for themselves and come back. The idea is to go there, get citizenship if possible, and then come back and establish here.

If citizenship is not in the plans, work, save up, and set up business here. That is what most people do. We can't keep complaining about taxes. It is the taxes that provide the favourable environment we witness there. However, I think someone earning 2million a month in Nigeria has no business trying to move abroad.

That's not how it works. As long as you graduated before your clocked 30, you won't be exempted. You have to serve your fatherland. You see how Ukraine prevented the exit of male aged 16 and above so they can join the war, that's how the NYSC scheme works. You will only be exempted if you graduated after 30yrs of age.

But as an OG, you can still skip the service scheme but not completely. All you have to do is get called up for the program, and pay your way to relocation to a preferred state of your choice. At your choice state, you'd register, get clearance and will present yourself to your LI. You can liaise with your LI or how you intend to run the service. You can either part with a cut or all of your allowee.... However, you'd be required to report once every month for clearance... You go dey ask questions like say you no dey this country.....
