There’s also a section of people who come to the stadium just to watch their favorite players. If the said player moves to another club, they would dump Old Trafford and pay tickets to watch the player in another club.

I didn’t actually say football can survive without the fans. I said the fans overrate themselves - they see themselves more important than what they are actually worth.

The bottom feeders in a food chain are also important but not as important as the levels above them. In the football pyramid, the fans are the least important. You are just consumers at the end of the day.

If you don’t go to Old Trafford, other people will. If all the Manchester United fans residing in Manchester boycott United games, neutrals from other parts of the world would attend the games and watch.

Midfielders like this guy, Iniesta, Scholes, Xavi, Pirlo, etc are the kind of midfielders I love watching. Players that oozes confidence, control, and calmness. When they get the ball you immediately see they've got technique. Pogba too plays this way but you can't just shrug off this feeling that he is kind of lethargic on the ball, if he is just a tad bit faster ... and shorter, nobody can touch him in midfield.

Pogba does this every time he plays for France. At United, nobody really makes intelligent runs apart from Rashford who can also be erratic with his runs.

Martial wants ball to feet - one of the laziest forwards in the history of the game. Daniel James has no directional sense and he’s also erratic at controlling the ball.

With France, Griezmann, Mbappe and Benzema made perfect runs and Pogba was finding them with ease. He had the most through passes in the Euros despite getting kicked out in the round of 16.

Pogba is the best midfielder on the planet - he can do everything and that sometimes work against him. When Man City or United concede goals, nobody every blames KDB or Bruno but someway somehow Pogba gets blamed.

I don’t think Lindelof can do better than what he’s offered so far. His ceiling isn’t very high. However, it’s better to have options like we do in case any of them has a long term injury.

I heard Woodward is after Trippier. I don’t understand that signing at all. If someone should be signed to improve Wan Bissaka like Telles improved Shaw, it should be that boy in Brighton(Tariq Lamptey).

I want a stationary pillar in the DM. We already have two creative midfielders in Pogba and Bruno. Putting Camavinga there to join them is an overkill. Who would defend if we lose the ball?

Camavinga is also decent but he has more to give going forward than restricting him to the role of a water carrier.

I also like the look of Renato Tapia of Celta Vigo. The Peruvian even gets busier than Ndidi in snapping at the ankles of any intruder in his zone. He’s like prime Makelele. He misses nothing in his area.
