You're getting it wrong here. Never said he doesn't love God.
Man's Hot and you're talking about loving GOD?
Oh! So if they don't go to church early means the husband does not love God?
And who told you going to church proves that you love God
SMH

Mods please FP
My question is to you, not to some random man. Do you love God?

Happy Sunday y'all
Something funny happened this morning

While we were preparing to go for Church service this morning, we heard shouts from our neighbors window, I didn't hear much but from what I could grasp, the man asking the woman to satisfy him before they leave for church

Apparently, they were dressed and out of the blues, the man became Hot and wanted it badly but the wife refused which turned to quarell that everyone had to come out, so I decided to being it on here

You already dressed up for church and your Husband became Hot and demands for sex, would you give him?
Matured answers please

Would you give in/him/her if you were going to work, had an interview, or had a flight to catch? It is kindergarten stuff. Do you love God?

Answer my question first, I have obliged you an answer, you should reciprocate.
Supernatural is something relating to God or attributed to God because it is phenomenal and unusual.
Feeding 5,000 men is not necessarily supernatural, any government, politician, NGO, and philanthropist can do it. But when the mode is feeding 5,000 men from 5 loaves of bread, that is supernatural. It doesn't save anybody because those men can shout "crucify Him" in coming weeks. Building and buying don't save anybody too.
Can God help you do something? Yes.
Can God help you build a house? Certainly.
Can God help you get a car or plane? Absolutely.
Oyedepo is someone you can see almost every day. Just find him on YouTube, he's busy saying what God will help him do or what God has helped him do. Check him back in 6months or years time, God has helped him do what he said(prayers and faith). It's very clear and documented, no gimmicks or guess work. The speed, ease and efficiency is definitely not made in Nigeria. You can try to replicate any achievement of your choice with your team of "intelligent" atheists. Let's see how far.
So what did you have in mind when you say that Oyedepo's results look supernatural?

So do you agree or disagree?

They look supernatural because people have been primed to consider them as supernatural when in fact they are not supernatural.
Give one or two examples of what you consider supernatural.

But i no Shit for Church na, why would they be acting that way?
Because they are human beings. Like i said, it is not limited to denominations. It's in different spheres. So tagging a whole denomination to the action of your small parish is not really achieving much. It happens when sports people go to other places or take major decisions. It happens in job change. It happens in even change of residence.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Moment U Stop Going To Their Church, Enimity Don Start. by Image123(m): 1:53pm On Feb 12, 2022
This has more to do with people than religion or denomination. People can feel bad or attack you for leaving any place. It can be a place of work or residential area. Don't take it too personally.

I call it the statistics of the gospel. This is one reason they want an increasing number of congregants because their predictions have an increased chance of becoming a reality with the higher number of people. Some of them like Oyedepo are very slick and would have primed their congregations to be receptive so well that their results look supernatural.
Lol, see excuse. You see supernatural, you still dey shalaye.

Unless you have a learning challenge you ought to know you thanking god for surviving means you're also thankful others died instead of you or even at the very least content with it.

It's like me being thankful police came to my place and arrested my neighbor when I was also guilty. I'm thankful I wasn't arrested, which means I'm content having my neighbor be arrested instead.
You have to be very slow to think that everyone must die because some died. How does surviving equate to being thankful that others died? Is your life tied to theirs? Are you not aware that we all have our lives to live? Why must your life be tied to some random person that died, who tied it? Your analogy is senseless, it is not a crime to be alive. If you committed such crime, i didn't.

Yeah, it's clear you're deep in your delusion.

1. Believers say their god is fair.

2. Believers get in an accident.

3. Believers are thankful other believers died and not them, ignoring their belief of god being fair.

It's an idiotic mindset bro.

The idiotic mindset here is you thinking that when others die, they die in your place. Believers are not thankful that others died, they are thankful that they are alive when they could have died or have been dead. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being grateful to be alive, use this God given brain of yours.

Hello everyone,

Have been a very active guest on nairaland since about last year. Have been reading and going through so many atheist believes here and I somehow find it sensible to me cause each day I go through a lot I pray fast and do many more it just seems as if the thing won't change.

Then I remembered how my mom was a chronic church lover who never misses a church program. If you read my previous post about how my dad is to me you would understand the sorrow she has gone through before she died.

Mainly the post on nairaland that has made me realize that Indeed these prayers dont work was an old post from hardmirror(sorry for the mention sir) I came across It i read everything and realize this man is making sense. Although I still attend church services like normal Christians but my zeal for Christ have gone each time am in church I don't feel like it makes sense to me to come to the church on basis of praying praying and praying which mostly doesn't work. embarassed
Nothing works for everyone does not mean that nothing works. This is the simplest, straightforward non Bible way i can explain it to you.
The medicine that works for millions didn't work for those that die in the hospital daily. There are so many failures that have tried education, marketing, online business, passive income, tiktokking, fish pond, piggery etc. It didn't or hasn't worked for them don't mean it doesn't work for others. Life is not a bed of roses.

First I'd like to start by saying it's your right to express your beliefs and the same with others right to expressing their non-beliefs.

In Nigeria, there are a great many road accidents and they keep increasing in broadcast and yet the people who survive and the people who use the vehicles and roads continue "thanking god for safe journey and mercies".

I'd like to ask if you hold this view or any among them why you think all responsibility should be on god for your safety and you don't hold your government and their constituents accountable?

Do the people who die on the same road not worship the same god? Or is it better they died and not you?

Is it better if we all sit idle and so long as the rulers in charge don't kill us all with their incompetence in one way or the other continue "thanking god" hoping things would get better?

If your neighbour was burned in a gas explosion and you weren't does that make you happy? Do you feel content god didn't want that happening to you over your neighbor?

If god as you believed it gave you a choice for you dying so others may live(that you don't know) or they dying instead what would you pick?

Please feel free to share why you think god keeps selecting you over the safety of others, thanks.
Were they supposed to thank you instead? Don't be foolish if possible. It's like saying someone should not appreciate others for their successful projects, books and articles because others fail. Use your God given brain please.

What are you saying? Removing restrictions doesn't say there's no COVID-19 or that people are not dying from Covid. You have continued to live like the ostrich glibly believing that no one has Covid. You've failed with all the conspiracy theories propounded. On the other odd hand, you believe that vaccines are killing people without a single proof. Stop comparing apples and tomatoes. Covid restrictions are different from Covid vaccine or Covid infections.

Several Studies have shown that atheists/agnostics on the "average" always score higher in IQ tests than theists and that more than 90% of affluent science professors are atheists (we can't argue that scientists are the most intelligent set of people in the world)

Some of the studies shows that, theists do badly in tests that involves critical reasoning and logic and that's alot of them don't do well is science hence they really do not understand the world around them. It was suggested that they rely more on intuition in reaching conclusions than critical reasoning and sound logic.

The question is: Does a belief in god make one less intelligent or are the less intelligent people more likely to accept a believe in God?
Now to your useless research, study and question. We've known this already for more than 2000years, it's laughable that you are still looking for it.

1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty

You may read the verses in between the passage to help your new studies and findings. God doesn't behave like dumb humans who make the important things unaffordable. Humans create a system where what they need is only affordable by few. God makes the most important things like salvation, fellowship, spiritual growth, and Heaven very affordable that nobody has an excuse. You can be the poorest, weakest, dumbest and most neglected persons and still be saved, have fellowship with the Highest, grow up in grace, and of course live eternally with God. If you don't like the system, listen very often to the words of comrade Oshiomole "Go and ..."

Well then I guess I'll never know if Jesus is real. If the god only responds to those that are already inclined to believe then it seems to confirm to me that the god is merely in your head so that if you aren't inclined to believe then you won't get a response. This is not how real people behave.
Very simple.

1Sa 2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Joh 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Like i usually bluntly say, man is too inconsequential to dictate terms, man is at His mercy and grace. You may receive His mercy or grace but otherwise, you're less than puny in the scheme.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Faith by Image123(m): 12:52pm On Jan 28, 2022
Myer:
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11.1

Following God, Christ, Christianity is based on faith.
However, what does the verse above mean?

This is important for any believer because Luke 18:8 asks if on the last day, Christ will find faith on earth.

What then is this faith?
I hope we can explain the 3 different Faiths elaborated below;

1. Is Faith waiting on God for his divine direction before making any decision?

2. Is Faith praying for your heart desire and trusting on God to make his word good?

3. Is Faith believing in Jesus Christ and nothing else matters?
Faith is the extent to which you trust God.
