Nah the price for "keeping the ineffectual GEJ and the coming Dubai man from Aso Rock" is that we will suffer buhari's perpetual cluenessless and no ministers will be appointed for the next 6 to 8 months....only for him to bring the likes of amechi back. grin

After which we can prepare for recession 2.0 angry grin, after which he will proceed to blame everyone from the time of Adam. Its a script.

Buhari is a full package. Since you are ok with him keeping pdp away, enjoy every other thing that follows.

Last Bullet
Nigerians are universally known for hope. Hope that tomorrow will somehow be better than today.

Buhari has killed this hope. #fact
It's unfortunate Nigeria is not blessed with good leaders for choice. Buhari is not clueless, but rigid, slow and stubborn. Highly phlegmatic individual, he should have been trained to work emergency situations when younger. He's a one way traffic kind of person, which doesn't fit into the flexibility required right now. I just hope he can resign.

He can resign. Who stops him from appointing and sacking, reshuffling etc. Why so rigid in everything my man? Since the work load is too much for him, simply resign and hand over to Osinbajo for God and country. He has done well by helping us keep the ineffectual GEJ and the coming Dubai man from Aso Rock.

Some dance steps could be termed "worldly" but then, who was there during the time of David in the bible to confirm that his dance steps were "worldly" or "decent".
If his dance steps were "decent or missionary" as we assumed, could his clothes have torn while he was dancing?
David's clothes tore? That's new. So anyone whose clothes tear must be doing something indecent. Hope your clothes tear everytime you dance so as to dance like David?

Have you been to heaven to know what heavenly dance is like and what constitutes worldly, crazy dance undecided undecided undecided
Do you really have to go to Heaven to know crazy dance? The lust of the flesh and eyes, the pride of life is the world. Any dance inciting lust, lascivious and depravity is simply not godly. Do strip dancers have to go to school to know how to dance seductively? Do those girls in secular music videos need high level training to know worldly dance and what is needed for their videos? Are Christians supposed to be so dumb they need definition and demonstration before knowing a kind of dance is crazy?

The only church I know that does not dance is deeperlife.they are just too boring like someone is dead.

All the rest can dance like David dance.

What is the need to sing in church if not to shake body n do leg works ..

This sermon too long joor.
How did David dance? You think he was dancing like an idol worshipper? Or you think it was his dance that made him please God. Why do all the sinners think they should only copy David by dancing, how many minutes did he use to dance compared to all he did to serve God in his generation.

You are allowed to dance for Jesus just as you are allowed to sing praises of his name. You can dance galala, skelewu, azonto, shaku shaku for all you care, Jesus loves all forms of praise and worship. What isn't allowed is any dance that is sexually suggestive such as twerking or grinding next to the opposite sex.
If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. It's a simple sentence.

Christianity Etc › Re: Religion Is Not The Reason For Backwardness In Africa, Our Leaders Are by Image123(m): 3:13pm On Jul 21, 2019
Most leaders and their cabinet are very educated people with impressive resumes, trained outside the country and greet citadels of learning. They simply use religion as a tool to get what they want easily. They aren't very deep in religion usually, but play to the gallery. African religion leaders and overseers are making giant strides and breaking records all the time. That's the difference.
Christianity Etc › Re: Religion Is Not The Reason For Backwardness In Africa, Our Leaders Are by Image123(m): 3:05pm On Jul 21, 2019
Of course, religion is not the problem. Places like China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, USA, UK, Italy, Egypt, Spain have shown development and industry despite religion. The problem is that religion is an easy tool to use and achieve many aims. So the leaders and the led use religion for their selfish gain.

I have until further notice being relieved from that duty and/or assignment. I guess you're happy and can breathe a good sigh of relief that no more "fiam" until further notice, from me anymore, on that subject, erhn? Excuse the "breathe" pun, too tempting not to seize the opportunity not to take advantage of using it considering subject matter has to to do spirit and breath
This is a good testimony, see what the Lord can do. Lol cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

I concur completely with all in this comment without demur

Er Sir, er Sir, there are questions ooo (i.e. raising hand and standing up)
1/ Why is the spirit the most precious part of man coming from God and not the soul, hmm?
2/ If the soul, is not the most precious part of man coming from God, why is Satan then interested in and always gunning for the soul but not the spirit for, being after the souls to have, take and display as trophies? Case in point, turning up, arguing with Angel Michael about Moses' body, asking for Moses' dead body, for him to take way.
Not question from senior man, Ah ah? This one is examination, not question, haba. Lemme try small sha.

The spirit is the most precious part of man because it comes directly from God.
Gen 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2Co_3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Joh_6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

While the above emphasized DIRECTLY refers to the Holy Spirit, it also shows how essential spirit is. It is the spirit that gives life. We know that man is created in the image of God: God Himself being tripartite in nature; the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The body as we will readily agree is from the dust, the God the Father of spirits, breathed spirit into the body, and man became a living soul.
Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is Spirit and Father of spirits, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. That is of heaven and from heaven. Being soulish or fleshly cannot please God as being spiritual. And the spirit returns to God that formed it. I'll stop there. that is why the spirit of man is most precious. And the regenerated man is rightly arranged as spirit, soul and body.
1Th_5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The second part, satan is interested in taking anything and everything just like the place you quoted showed. If he can get the body, he will. If he can destroy the soul, he will.

What a shame. So because of allegiance, you are not allowed to think before you talk? Or you didn't receive home training only allegiance? You didn't go to school or they didn't pay your school fees or teachers salaries to teach you how to address others on a public forum? I know many yoruba people and many Christians, you my friend are a stain to the name tags for refusing to think or behave properly because you have data and allegiance.

Whats the difference between the spirit and the soul?

have be wondering

abeg guys help me answer this one
I want to guess you are asking for a Christian or biblical perspective. The question has been answered several times in the past. It's a shame the sort of answers on the first page except for maybe my friend MuttleyLaff (who has been literarily kidnapped by homos) who managed what seems right. The soul and spirit are two different parts of man. The bible clearly says Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

There is a dividing asunder of soul and spirit. The spirit is the most precious part of man coming from God. The soul is the seat of emotion and intellect. If there are further questions and clarifications, i will be available by the grace of God.

Lol.. I just hate the fact he tried to rubbish igbos with his comment.

Many residents of that area have pointed out that fulani herdsmen have taken over that forest and have been kidnapping people just that this one happened to a well known figure.

I know how many friends who have experienced these herdsmen.

The point is that the herdsmen got hold of guns and added kidnapping and raping to their usual venture. According to the report by punch shared here earlier today, the herdsmen in that location where she was killed have been disturbing people and police is scared of Abuja.

As for Tinubu ,he is only trying to be in good book for 2023. He could have defended the herdsmen without tagging igbos. The man doesn't like igbos at all. And I can tell u guys, if he becomes president, he will be worse than Buhari.
Is Evans a representative or representation of all Igbos? Are Anenih, Shina Rambo, Clifford Orji and all other past criminals representatives of their tribes? Why do we start thinking this way?

Exactly why the herdsmen story has little credibility. Yes there are killings and all kinds of crime, and the government has to WAKE UP to security of lives and property, but NO real or tangible proof that a great percentage were done by herdsmen.
Very soon, every pant stolen and yahoo scam will be attributed to herdsmen the way Nigeria is going.

It's now confusing. Everyone is castigating Tinubu because he did not blame herdsmen for the killing? This is very confusing. He should blame herdsmen when witnesses saw masked men without cows?

Isn't it why we argue here day and night to change the mindset of some people?
Our problem is that we refuse to see the reality.
Sorry i didn't get the memo when this happened. Perhaps i've not been as frequent in this section as i suppose. What i know of unbelievers like you in this section is faulting others(christians/muslims) for believing by learning. They claim that the christian morality does not stand, because according to them, it is obtained by learning/environment. That it/morality will be different if we were not born in church. Something along that line. Meanwhile, here you are building the foundation of your morality on that same plain. So what makes your morality superior to the other, or more right than the other since you both learned it?

Meanwhile I said plus a couple of things. Each individual think what they know is right, but through interaction and relearning they change their mind. While learning is one of what determines what us right or wrong...it is not the only thing. There is pain, there is empathy, there is authority, there is self presentation... I can't go breaking all these and all must not apply at the same time for a particular subject of interest.
So, you believe morality should keep changing? Interesting. Like tomorrow, you may learn that it is moral to blow up the 'infidels'. What is pain to you is joy to some e.g bdsm(sorry to use that). What is authority to you is not to others e.g FG vs IPOB And on and on like that.

But yes learning determines what we see as right or wrong. This is obvious except u want to deny it.. The terrorist see his act of terrorism as right - learning to see this act as right took place somewhere. The Christian think hell is real and think burning people forever is justified - learning that this wicked act is right took place somewhere.
However apart from what u learned, different interactions are taking place in ur life time... Empathy can make u evaluate what u have learned... Its just a simpu sturv
Not that simple, as we are all different and not wired up the same way. What cracks my ribs with laughter may not even bring up a smile on your face. As we both know, there are several types of learnings and indoctrinations the world over, so i don't think you want to use it as your foundation for morality. My learning is senior to yours, your learning is superior to mine. Who agrees? Is incest wrong, yes. Then tomorrow, i learn that it is right. Then two years later, i learn again that it is wrong as learning never stops. Then a decade later, another learning. And the curve goes on like that. This is not morality my friend.

Christianity Etc › Re: Moral Problems: Is Incest Wrong? Why? by Image123(m): 8:36pm On Jul 02, 2019
What does an atheist have to do with morality. Morality is not your whims and caprices. I feel good about going to school, therefore it is moral to go to school. That's your concept of morality in summary and changes with time and person. Children of God base morality on God and His Word.
So according to the Bible, incest is an immoral thing to do. The Word of God has not changed stance concerning it. For atheists, its okay once mother and son consent or brother and brother. To them, it makes sense, so it must be moral. More like kindergartens playing with a physics textbook.
