OsunOriginal: You are very very ignorant? What is the population density of Akwa Ibom? How many roads do you have in Uyo compared to the number of roads in Ikeja Local government? How many vehicles ply the roads in Uyo?

The last time I checked, Akwa Ibom state population was 5 million compared to Lagos of 15 million (official) - the true population of Lagos is about 20 million not even adding people that come here daily for business. And you can beging to estimate the number of roads that will be required and number of vehicles on those road.

You fail to understand that population determines every other thing and not the land mass.
take it easy on your blood pressure. I'm not doing any state comparison of state 1 is better than state 2. The fact is that akwa ibom is bigger than Lagos in landmass or area. It's simple logic that you need to build more roads in the bigger as it will contain more. The number of yards for an adults cloth is bigger than the number of yards for small baby Lagos. Plus, the roads in akwa ibom are better, cleaner and bigger than most Lagos roads.
it is very obvious that you've never been to akwa ibom. asking how many cars ply uyo. The untarred road network in the rural parts of akwa ibom are better than many roads in the south west. I am from the south west.

They like to do Houseboy and Cook and are not keen on BMWs
although people have answered you well, let me add that you need to do yourself the favour of visiting akwa ibom. By the way, I'm not from there. what you're saying is history, come out of the doldrums into the present. I'm aware of the FACT of free and compulsory education up to o'levels in the state. The government buys the waec forms. Apart from that are juicy scholarship opportunities including studying medicine and aviation in Europe. There has been great efforts to bring all state indigenes back home, educate them and train them. You can't just take a little child out to the park anyhow with intent to make them househelp elsewhere, they are now more conscious and enlightened. Their government schools are enviable places to work, they are trying to get the best hands and heads. You can actually see the effort. some folks are expecting overnight miracle. human development takes time. The future will tell.

How come despite all the infrastrutural development, the Governor was fighting tooth and nail to win the last election. Well the good news is Akwa Ibomites are sophisticated voters they can see the beyond the fake facade called development. They Know that man is a clever fraudster.
others want the money. It's not because he's not performing, its because they also want to control oil money. they are mostly selfish people.

OsunOriginal: Can some of the picture posters here show me the infrastructure in 3 towns in Akwa Ibom state apart from the state capital? Also show us the road linking the towns together or to the state capital.

You will agree with me that state development is not about tarring the roads in the state capital while other towns struggle to make a decent living.

Lagos is not a single town - it is a cosmopolitan of many towns already linked together - Ikeja, Agege, Dopemu, Festac, Isolo, Surulere, Badagry, Ikorodu, Ketu, Gbagada, Oshodi, Mushin, Ikoyi, V/I, Lekki, Aja, Abule Egba, Ipaja, Ogba and so many other towns. Many of these are bigger than Akwa Ibom capaital. So, when you say Lagos, it is not like Uyo.
have you ever been to akwa ibom? I can bet a No. Lagos state is the smallest state in Nigeria so what are you saying?

so if fayemi of ekiti state builds a Mega poultry of quality, it's safe for us to say it is fayose's work? i doubt it. akpabio didn't do the typical Nigerian politicians thing of abandoning all previous projects and embarking on his own fresh idea. he turned failed and shoddy works into continental monuments.

akintun: Nigerians are one of d easiest people to rule. D truth is dat relative to other state gov's, d Akwa Ibom stae gov is trying. I wonder why people are comparing infrastructure in Uyo which is a state capital to infrastructure in d whole Lagos state. Wat about d development in other areas of d state. It would be good to see pictures from there. D money our state gov receive is small, when u compare it to d level of development needed in d country. D previous leaders of dis country have messed up so much dat any serious contractor would include a risk premium into d cost of constructing infrastructure in Nigeria, therefore wat costs 20billion in other countries would most likely cost 50billion in Nigeria.
the development in akwa ibom is in different areas, not just the capital. And we should not forget an important fact that akwa ibom is about two times bigger than Lagos, speaking of landmass.

plappville: Image...this thing is seen disrespectful because in Nigerian, we know young people dare not cross leg where elders are sitting how much more, they see a youth do that in the Church. The traditions of our fathers is what has been transmitted to the Church. People of a different culture/tradition will be disrespecting God if we are to generalise this crossing leg habit.

frosbel: And they did ' destroy him , he died, but death could not hold him, so though they killed him, he had eternal life abiding in him, therefore the grave ( not HELL ) was not able to hold him.
The same way death and hell will lose their hold on people on the judgement day.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
You may also read the verse that follows if it doesn't inconvenience your new found traditions.

frosbel: Hmm, Sir, you seem to be getting more confused.

Jesus Christ had direct conversations with these people you mentioned, they were events not parables. They were real time events which were observed , recorded and written down for our awareness and encouragement in Faith.

The Parable of the rich MAN and Lazarus was not an event which happened, Jesus was conversing nether with the rich MAN nor Lazarus, he was simply telling a story with a meaning , something which the Jews failed to grasp , as you also seem not to.
Are you kidding me? Direct conversations? Did Abraham not have direct conversations with the rich man? Was the EVENT of the rich man and lazarus not recorded or written down? Was the event for your loss of awareness and discouragement? What are you saying, have you started smoking? a story with a meaning, what meaning? you think He was a story-teller telling tales from the arabian night?

frosbel: Darkness, does not mean prison, lol. The angels are in darkness , reserved for judgement , no hope of ever returning to their former state. Darkness is a condition and is a prison of sorts.

For example :
Which one is it? Darkness DOES NOT mean prison or darkness is a prison? You have claimed this two positions in the above quote. And what does this have to do with anything? i just quoted plainly to you that some fallen angels are in hell, and you come up with your exposition on darkness and prisons?
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
You seem to suffer from memory loss so let me remind you. You were saying that even devil and his angels are not yet punished so why will humans be punished, and here is scriptures showing that some angels are in punishment, reserved to their final punishment/judgement.

Finally , on this point , If we use your logic, can you tell us if Paul was in prison when he penned this verse :

"Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you," - Philemon 1:23
oh you somehow think that prisoner means something else ba? But death, die and co must streamline into your bigotry?

Abagworo: Akwaibom gets 20billion Naira per month while Bauchi gets 4billion per month. This means that Akwaibom can do everything Bauchi will dream of and still have spare 16billion to save. Is any of these projects worth up to 16billion? If you now multiply the extra 16billion by 6years, you'll be ashamed.

I actually do pass through Akwaibom once in a while and I saw the works done. The airport and Le meridien hotel were done by Victor Attah who received far less funds.
This is a lie na, this is a lie. How can you say Attah was the one tyhat did the airport and the hotel? i guess if gej fails to deliver on his numerous promises, anybody who comes to actually implement the project will not be credited with it. Little wonder gej is promising heaven and pluto since folks like you will say he is the one that did it. If Bauchi gets 4billion per month, they would get about 48billion per year. Have they done anything remotely close to these pictures in the past 10years/ If you see something good, please say so.

He said his bible was only KJV. Then I showed him how with my Ipad I have an alert that can send me a scripture every hour, how I have a bible reading plan that can help me read through the entire bible in a year and how if I am too tired I can even play the passages out as an audio... Then I turned to him and asked him if he could do any of these with his paper back..

frosbel: Jesus dictionary ? So we have another dictionary that explains these words differently ? Please show me where this dictionary is ?

Last time I checked , the bible translators translated the words of GOD and JESUS into the most appropriate English equivalents, are you saying they did not know what they were doing ?

SMH grin
You're asking me if there is another dictionary? Were you not the one making reference to the dictionary of Image123?
Joh 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Mat 27:20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Do the words 'die, death, and destroy' mean the conventional from the above passages? Your answer is my answer, really.

frosbel: Bible evidence ? Sorry where is this elusive evidence you keep providing ?
liar, i'll post it again to your shame. You said
what was the rich man's name ?
why are demons and their leader for whom hell was prepared, not yet tormented, why MAN.
And i gave you answers. i said "what was the name of the centurion Jesus said had great faith? Or the name of the thief on the cross? The Bible talks of angels in hell 2peter 2:4. I've shown you this before, do you lack retentive memory or purposely choose to live in denial?". These answers clearly show from the Bible that some fallen angels are in hell contrary to your claims, and falls your argument that a man doesn't exist if you don't know his name. Instead of you to bury your shameless head in penitent silence, you are here fooling yourself and lazy folks who cannot read. Here is the folly of an answer you gave
you are so fanatical and emotional in your argument, such that you refuse to slow down and read the bible for yourself with an open mind.

Sticking to traditional beliefs will not save you on the last day, only following Christ and his TRUE doctrine will.
Here is the Bible again, Mat 8:5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Read it with all the slowness and unaidedness you can and tell us the name of the centurion. Search for the passage on the thief on the cross with Jesus too if your loss of tradition permits you. Here is the Peter passage.
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
I'm curious to hear what your new church's traditions have to say about this verse. i'm certain you are desperately searching for some link/webpage to tell you the next line. When you find, i'll be waiting here. Go fetch a link mr.the only one following the true doctrine(whatever that means).

Be genuinely born again, and free from sin. With that you have faith and confidence to approach God and the devil/and his colleagues. Whenever you see the cobwebs, simply tear them apart and go your way. There is no enchantment against a true child of God. They are preparing to fall for your sake. If you are a true child of God, be very happy. God is preparing a table for you IN THE PRESENCE of the enemy.
Isa 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Homebaked: The teaching of the church about hell being an everlasting torture place for evil doers is worrisome. The teaching implies that the inhabitants of this hell will be body and soul and fully concious. They will experience extreme pain but unable to pass out. This will go on forever. This kind of teaching may do well to frighten people to righteousness but I am afraid it is not portraying God as being rich in mercy. I wonder how happy one could be heaven thinking of a relative going through that hell. I go for total annihilation for the wicked-no life, no conciousness, no pain, nothing
Yep, the inhabitants of hell will be fully conscious as shown by Jesus the chief teacher of hell, to John His beloved.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
john also wondered at the things he saw, there are many wonderful and amazing things awaiting sinners and saints. It doesn't matter what you go for, hell is not by your vote or like, it is by Jesus the owner of hell.
