PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Had A Killer Squad As President -- Former Associate by IME1: 3:55pm On Apr 21, 2013
the spokesman said where is the evidence? do you realize that no being able to provide evidence has sunk a great number of genuine matters? you alone witness a crime and no one can back up your story even if it is true, then the case is thrown out for lack of evidence. E-v-i-d-e-n-c-e, would not always be available! so what do we do go and sleep?
really @op what do we do with this info now? hate Obasanjo, hate him more? kill him? prosecute him? start blame game and turn the tables to Buhari, Abdulsallam, IBB, Gowon, Murtala? really? we are in a country where we see things blatantly wrong but 'we cannot do anything.' Really what can we do? we are tired of these stories and facts, whether some believe in the existence of a killer squad or not, what do we do with this info? how can we help?
PoliticsRe: Boy Tries To Set Mosque Ablaze In Abuja by IME1: 3:35pm On Apr 21, 2013
Even though I do not like joining issues about religion, because many people are fanatics (within all faiths, no one is exempt) people are zealous without knowledge and end up as bigots. But I was reminded today that even while the early Christians also faced contradictions, blasphemies (someone dared to say '... sleeping or a fake god') and oppositions, they still grew bold and responded to those 'anti Christs and Christians'
So I have been encouraged today to speak out even when people deliberately, ignorantly or jokingly try to ridicule my Saviour Jesus Christ, His Church (we Christians- His bride) and my Creator God Almighty. I owe no one. So no one should in the name or right, law, oppression, education, philosophy or logic try to stop the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It cannot be stopped. The Holy Spirit is still at work in this world, no matter what people say, God loves us and wants us to believe in His Son Jesus Christ, be saved and share everlasting life with His Son, Jesus Christ.

Act 13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.
Act 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.
Act 13:47 For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.' "
Christianity EtcRe: Bible Verses For Today by IME1: 3:24pm On Apr 21, 2013
Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
Psalm 139:24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

These verses help me remind myself that we all who believe in God must check ourselves regularly, because we may think we are in right standing with God, but 'little foxes' may exist to make God say 'I don't know you' on the final day even where you spoke in tongues, got baptized, raised the dead, went to mission fields, received Holy Communion, went for all-night prayers, etc. We must ask God to search us and help us and as the good Shepherd that He is, lead us in the way everlasting. smiley

God bless Nairalanders, in Jesus name, amen.

the picture is nice, it's good for parents to build lasting memories (good) and legacies with their children so when the inevitable happens they'd have fond memories to bear their passing on to glory. imagine if all a child has memories of are bad and painful memories about any of his or her parents. how many of us can say we have such cool pictures wt our folks? huh

any body who preaches and encourages people to 'work-chop' is the real corrupt Nigerian (no offence) because if we all eat from where we work then the country has ended. Teachers, Doctors, Military, NEMA, NGOs, Judiciary, Executives, Legislators, ... need I say more? would all be eating from their work and it would be right by your support for 'work-chop'
what is wrong is wrong. if truly the man was doing something wrong it should be 'condemned' and not compromised because evil corrupt person can give you 10 sweet, genuine, pitiful reasons for why he\she does the corruption they do.

God is good. I am grateful to God for healing her. I can still remember vividly d role she played in the movie titled "evil passion" which paraded a lot of talented and beautiful actors and actresses way back then.

I thank God for using all does who donated, treated her and prayed for her, may they nt go unrewarded, amen. Anywaz 4 those who don't belive in God, the 1 true God Who is nt limited to space and time or region and race, we all would either mit Him as Judge or Father of mercy. no amount of money cld ve saved her if nt God. people die in Cuba and Uk, money does nt save them. money answers all things sure, bt silver and gold are in the hands of God. seek things that are eternal. even though Lazarus was raised to life he stil died following d normal human course of life, bt his dying wld b his rising to new life in Jesus after death. money can give u extra yrs (maybe) bt wen u finally go, meeen money no fit do nada. then u will knw that it is God- He Who made us all, that saves. belief or nt in God does nt change God. God is still God, the same y'day, today and forever! amen. selah.

there are so many issues. i agree that the south Easterners are the most affected and evry1 says they shld cm bak south, but what of the Northern Christians or Northerns that are nt in support of these attacks? where do they run to? have u seen the way Northern Christians are treated in d South? they are made jest of and called aboki (which means frnd and is nt a bad thing, bt d way its used and intention is nt rite). ok since Boko haram started under Yar'Adua who was a northerner and muslim hw is it nw GEJ's fault? the only thing to blame him for is the fact that he is the commander in chief of d armed forces and so shld have used his office or shld use his office as a means of stopping- nt reducing or curbing or negotiating (correct nations dont negotiate wt terrorist), bt stopping these bombings. imagine GEJ sayin in time past that BH wld soon b a thing of d past! which ka in talk b that one? so pple wey don die since mk they b sacrificial lambs 4 future peace? na them cause am? na their fault. pple die in d north and they are merely seen as numbers of casualties not as humans - pple's children, spouses, debtors, creditors, benfactors, colleagues, church members, etc. imagine El rufai sayin it was distraction frm more important things! what is more important that life? d ecoomy or d issue of corruption? if d economy is good and corruption ceases who are d 'humans' that are going to enjoy them? life first. 4 all we know they where many non-Igbos in those buses and other places where there has been bombings. who will fight for those ones? Ohaneze abi OPC or MEND or ...? i wish it were easy that all southerns shld com bak south, bt i tell u, e no go solve d bombing problem.

i want to receive the promise of eternal life and i want every one too because i believe i and my loved ones past and present and to come will be reunited. there God will have what He wanted when He created the earth in the first place- sweet fellowship with His creation. the Bible tells us that we would interract wt animals and nature in pure relationship wt out fear or hurt.
think abt it when u die and u realize that God is real and hell is the alternative to believing in Jesus Christ, a message u heard on earth on nairaland and on the streets and u doubted- wot excuse would u have? meeen by then e go late die! some say if u die and realize there is no heaven or hell u wld ve lost nothing if u bliv or nt! that is 4 d doubting mind, i beliv joor!

FamilyRe: Teen Pregnancy Prevention Ads: Too Harsh?! by IME1: 1:15am On Mar 09, 2013
the ad is not harsh i wish Nigeria could also have ads that fit our own context cos there's also the rise in teenage pregnancies in Nigeria. one unfortunate factor is the issue of rape. almost every week from different parts of Nigeria, there'r issues of how one 70 yr old man 'defiled' a 10 year old girl. or how 2 step-brothers aged 19 and 13 raped their step-sister 6 (who died afterwards) those that survive may end up giving birth and when society sees that teen or child wt a baby they are labelled as promiscious. i think most teenage or 'child' mothers in Nigeria didnt ask 4 it, whie the dads were either ignorant of the consequences of their act or acted out of sheer wickedness.
