In a sane society, we will by now be expecting sentencing for Dasuki based on his own statements alone. So, the question of him being guilty or not is not even the case.

You must know why the president was too emotional. It's because he has facts, incontrovertible ones, at his finger tips plus his love for the nation.

As things stand, PMB has the support of most Nigerians and I don't see that changing as long as his fighting the cabal is for the overall interest of Nigeria and not for his personal interest.

The president message was a needed signal to the judiciary especially the judges who grant bail for serious national crime.

Our democracy has not evolved to granting bail to someone like Dasuki to travel abroad when it's almost certain he won't come back.

Where is Diezanni today? Where is Lamorde? Where is Obanikoro? The Juducuary should always act in the interest of the nation and not against it.

Questions the Judiciary should mediate on.

Yet undue interferences should not be allowed.

Be so certain of a case might just be presumptuous at the end.

You must also not make too many enemies to win an argument. It will only invalidate the victory and still give voice to those accused.

Remember the presumption of innocent until proven guilty.

The president presumes guilty until proven innocent and this is bad news to all of us even you.

This man is in no position to make this assertion.

This government have done little or nothing to be so glorified.

Let's not allow emotions becloud our sense of reason.

It's too early to call him a great man.

The poor always get punished for far lesser offences whereas the rich thieves get away with theirs?




And, when has it even become a crime to re-arrest indicted persons for different charges as in the case of Dasuki?

Thus far, the Judiciary granting bails have not acted corruptly but in accord with norms of court proceedings. Bail could be granted at the discretion of the presiding Jude, it doesn't end the case.

After all the accused has to remain alive to be tried.

What has gone wrong so far is the President commenting on court proceedings and passing judgment by making sentimental utterances.

Not until our judiciary start to act in the interest on Nigeria will we have an issue with the govt disobeying court orders.

You don't expect this govt allow looters escape justice just because they can buy judgement with a portion of the funds they looted.

The Judiciary should remain independent.

Courts must sit. Accused prosecuted and defended

Judges or a jury pass judgment leaning on the argument from both sides and having a fuller and clearer picture of the circumstances of the matter before it.

Aggrieved parties appeal judgments and exhaust the legal process as inscribed in our democratic constitution.

Anything short of this under any guise is crude dictatorship and unacceptable.

When children of Israel asked for a king in Bible times, God granted them their request but was quick to state the attendant consequences.

Today, as in those days, God still allows people their wish but never prevents the consequences of our choices to manifest.

There can never be a good dictator. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Counting your chicks before they are hashed.

No matter what happened a man kept piloting the affairs of Abia and he has done noble thus far.

Zakzaky lost six sons in cold blood. His wife shot and he too was shot and wounded and indefinitely in custody. Families lost many members. One man interviewed on daily trust lost five children. Mosque, houses and cemetery destroyed. Hundreds killed. People shot in the road and then followed into their mosques and houses.

First, assassination attempt (with catapults, sticks and stones in the face of armed soldiers as we saw in the video of the road block wahala).

Second, road block.

Third, planning terrorist attack.

Fourth, people of Zaria suffered (as if Zakzaky followers are aliens from Jupiter).

Fifth, airing of propaganda video on NTA that they were having military training and piling weapons. Yet, after all the demolitions, no gun found. Not even a rusted one. Finding ways to hang a dog.

This accusation of militarization even though ridiculous and prepared for the gullible , exposes the other allegations earlier made as utterly false. If this is the reason, then it shows the road block and the reaction was used as a pretext to attack their mosque and houses and waste innocent lives. This means the attack was preplanned and not a coincidental reaction. Anyways, where are the weapons? What we see in that video are Boy Scouts. In churches we have boys brigades. They dress in uniforms and get extracurricular training in martial arts. That does make them soldiers, armed or military men.

These lies should stop. If the authorities are finding ways for damage control, and they now realize their sins, come out honestly and talk to those people. After all the bloodshed, they are still peaceful. If they were Sunnis, God knows the north will be on fire by now. They are Nigerians and human beings. Talk to them, compensate them and let justice prevail. That will give people confidence in the authorities and give trust and respect to the constituted authorities. Lies for damage control does exactly the opposite. It exposes the liars and make people doubt and lose hope.

I hope this case is fairly and justly concluded so everyone feels peace and at ease.
