I've not done it yet. I went to World Oil (Ilasan) as adviced on Saturday, and I was told that the guys didn't come to work. I was told to come back on Monday. So I'll go back there tomorrow.

By the way, after your inspection report expired, were you still able to use the App? They sent me a reminder that it was to expire yesterday. I don't know if it would still work.

One way to know if somewhere is one way is to see how the cars are parked, and if you aren't sure, just ask.

That's true. Most of them would be used to it. I know a guy that prefers working on the Mainland and he lives on the Island. I found it difficult to understand the rationale for his decision, but then, every Mallam with im own kettle.

Not that much on the Island, that's if there are any 'traps' at all. When you drive on the mainland, it's like you are driving in a different 'fourth world' country. Especially Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

I would have done a couple of trips too but Na mumu location all of them be. The guy I discharged wanted me to wait while he sorts out his business at ECO Bank by Bonny camp bridge, I had waited for him to finish at Akin Adesola Eco bank branch hoping he’d say we should proceed to Lekki where I picked him from. Getting to the one at Bonny camp I saw plenty people waiting in line, I just tell am say I no go fit wait before he could say ‘jack Robinson’ I don end trip. Ride was 1800.

I drove empty from there to Freedom way to wait for my offline rider

This work ehn, na grace. Yesterday, after dropping off my wife off at work, I went online (which I normally do till evening when I go to pick her). I drove around and 'positioned' for like an hour. Shi shi I didn't see, not even N500 trip. I got tired and went back home. I can't come and kii myself.

I went out today around 8. I drove around for like 10mins and a request came in. Interesting guy, had issues with a transfer and wanted to go to the bank and wanted me to wait. On a norms, I wouldn't try it, but this one wey area dry? The guy said he'll do me well. I said no problem. It turned out that the transfer later went through while he was still on queue and he didn't have to wait for long. Driving around + waiting time took almost two hours till the end of the trip. As usual, Bolt did their magic. Trip ended at 3.4K. Dude transferred 77% extra.

Got other trips, rejected a couple of others (Ikorodu, Lasu, Ipaja). In the end, today was good.

Tomorrow? God is in control.

True. I noticed it too. However I think it's of no use because sometimes, the final fare is usually lower than the price displayed when you check the price during the trip.

Riders don’t read I am actually surprised that so far no rider has protested with no using of AC. Some still want to sit in the front seat.

I must confess that I’ve been using my AC in traffic, especially that crazy Abraham Adesanya traffic. I can’t come and roast abeg.

I dey my house like this. The sun and that Abraham Adesanya traffic is maad... I wonder why they couldn't fast track completion of the road including that of Lekki during the lockdown...

Riders don't complain because I tell them before I even start the trip.

As for the VIO officials, I don’t know who they are after but from the way they are positioned on both sides of the road they are not their to joke.

Meanwhile, why didn't Bolt send mails to riders about new rules for rides (2 riders per ride and AC turned off)?

Its kind off dull for me today. I started late though, I’ve done two trips today between 8:30 and 10:30am.

About 30mins ago I got a message from bolt that I’ve been blocked from taking cash trip (-5215). I have paid, now waiting for them to unblock me.

VIO officials are on the road (Osapa London both sides) working together with Lastma.

Send them multiple mails. I was blocked yesterday and sent them a mail hoping they had good customer service and they'll respond promptly. That's was like around 2-3pm yesterday. Waited for for more than two hours, no request came in, whereas requests had been dropping little by little earlier. I think it was Northbird that suggested that I send more mails and I did that in evening.

I woke up this morning and the balance was still same, so no cash trips. It was later cleared around 9am. So you probably have to send more mails and wait till tomorrow.

P.S: The VIO guys at Jakande were after Danfo buses not keeping social distancing rules (I think)...

I was dumbfounded for a few seconds. My boss notices that I'm acting confused. He asks me what's wrong.

However, abeg find something for your staff even though it's half or one-quarter salary (if you can). It's really not easy this period. Every little penny that comes in matters alot.

Nihao... So I was listening to the radio today (as usual while driving) and the OAP on CoolFM was talking about learning a skill that could earn one foreign currency. She talked about learning a foreign language like Spanish, Italian, French and the likes. I remembered your post concerning this some time ago and I smiled. She mentioned an App (Duolingo) that taught various languages effectively and FOR FREE. Immediately I got home I started on Chinese and it's been great so far. Thanks for your posts.
