/ What happened to "walking away"? / |
/ That's for the people who don't know that Abuja is a village. / |
/ Nigeria should be developed around a system not a person. Akunyili left and NAFDAC died. Ribadu left and EFCC died It shows that policies around cult of personality is not sustainable. This is why we have no progress because each successive government starts from scratch. No continuity. / |
Shalomdee:/ So each time you see people playing with toys you stop to watch. And worse still, make a big deal out of it. What hole did you crawl out from? \ |
/ I guess this year sucks for all obabaku. / |
/ Point of correction: The only really expensive Bentley on the list belongs to P-Square. The other ones are 2004/5 Bentleys. Still expensive, but nothing close to the price you quoted. \ |
TonyeBarcanista:/ For once, I agree with you. \ |
/ Everything happens for a reason. I will help a Nigerian in diaspora but from a distance. Do you belong to any Nigerian organization? Join one and you will find out why Well off Nigerians run away from the pack. Get a few Nigerians together and the stories become issues of adultery, envy, snitching, etc. that tend to ricochet all the way back to Nigeria. It is the Blacks curse. Once bitten, twice shy. Call me on the phone, I will give you any information needed. But to move you into my house, it ain't gonna happen. / |
/ My take: Chichy cry me a river! Whoever lives part of his/her life on social media should expect some backlash from friends and foes. You put yourself out there. So why come back to cry about people judging you? \ |
/ Saharareporters sensationalizes a lot but they are still centuries ahead of the brown envelopes journalists in Nigeria. Journalists working for media outlets owned by politicians will never be professional. When folks like Orji Uzo Kalu, Ibori, Tinubu, etc. own local newspapers, how much integrity do you expect from their journalists? Anyone that thinks low of saharareporters should grab a camera, pen and paper and go get the "facts". Last I checked, rebuttal is not a crime. \ |
/ It is good for the records. But I think that even if a goat is nominated, it will pass be confirmed by the senate. If there is no sharing of money involved, senators couldn't care less. / |
/ Anything short of arresting Goodluck Jonathan is unacceptable to common sense. 8 years in office and no single positive thing could be attributed to his stay in Aso Rock. ND region is even worse off. \ |
Toscoas2:/ That is how an average number is calculated. Of course there will be outliers. Do you guys even learn anything in school? / |
/ LOL. Nigerians and short memories. Did you hear anything in millions during GEJ's tenure? I challenge anyone to go back to the archives and prove me wrong. / |
joncom:/ There are no saints in Nigeria. We have looters and looter-in-waiting. Looters are the one that held previous political offices and used the opportunity to loot the common wealth. Looters-in-waiting are the ones who are yet to hold political officers but keep praying and hoping for the opportunity to loot the common wealth. Corruption is a Nigerian culture. \ |
dainformant:/ Jonathan is the closest one can get to an im.be.cile president \ |
/ Nigeria has never practiced democracy. In fact, Nigeria does not need democracy. The heart of a typical Blackman is wicked. They need authoritarian figure to keep them in check. Name one progressive Black nation in the world. In short any progressive Black city, neighborhood in the world. In every developed cities in the world, majority of the blacks live in slums. Why? Because like children, they are overtly selfish and will easily sell their birthright for a porridge. More like pigs that would rather die in their filths than be cleaned. Why do you think rich blacks stay and live away from other Blacks? The answer is in the mind of an average Nigerian--a wicked set of people. Buhari is a messiah in disguise. / |
/ Nonsense. What happened to Buruji Kashamu, FFK, Bankole, just to mention a few? EFCC is not serious. \ |
Of course. Nemzyseries is a good example |
NemzySeries:/ A loser is always a loser. I already know that in this highly competitive world, you are a misfit. You will not amount to anything in life because you fit the profile. Write today's date in your calendar. Good luck. \ |
/ Sometimes when someone treats you with disdain because you are a Nigerian it is because of knuckleheads like Tunde. Don't take it personal. Nigeria is a bad name even in the real life dating scene. The more educated they are, the more they shy away from Nigerians unless they know you very well. / |
/ Marriage is a leap of faith. Using the characters they display during courtship is a gamble. Go with your heart. But be ready to live with the consequences. Instead of considering their strength, you should put more emphasis on their weaknesses and determine if they will be tolerable should life throw you a curve ball. \ Talking about beauty, the graduate is very beautiful because she dresses up and visits you. Wait until she moves in with you and you start seeing her dirty undies, using the toilet, bad hair days, early morning breathe, etc. And if she has kids and adds some pounds, all her grammar will disappear in your brain. Beauty fades with time. |
NemzySeries:/ You are still abbreviating your words like a nincompoop. Poor parents! What a waste of school fees. / |
NemzySeries:/ Sit down with your parents and have a heart-to-heart discussion. They should as a matter of urgency enrol you in a good school. / |
/ The hallmark of a good parent is knowing when to say "No". You don't buy everything you want because you can afford it. That's the mind of an adult. \ |
NemzySeries:/ I find it extremely difficult to believe that you are a student. Just saying... All these bus conductors with access to the internet. \ |
/ Sanusi should know that responding makes it worse. What? He expects his critics to read this thesis on young bride and clap for him. / |
sunnyb0b0:/ Let them shun lifting crude oil from Nigeria. I guess the new government is plugging the theft where they lift oil without accountability. The new policy will affect their bottom lines. For sure, oil theft is not carried out by ghosts. The headline is misleading. It should be "Crude oil thieves finding it difficult to carry on in Nigeria" Since when did Nigerians start trusting Indians doing business in Nigeria? / |
/ My take: Buhari didn't attend Boko Haram conference. Buhari didn't shake the Pope. Let the heavens fall. Yeah! Buhari shaking the Pope will fix the litany of problems in Nigeria. Playing opposition is one thing, but crying wolf is an act of desperation. Desperation for what? Nothing! Because PMB still has 3years + to stay in office. / |
/ Illiteracy! Illiteracy!! Illiteracy!!! So they shout. What has the educated ones done for Nigeria? We had a Ph.D holder that couldn't differentiate left from right. Then again, Nigeria is all about titles. Dr, Alhaji, Honorable, etc. matter more to Nigerians than the ability to utilize the brain for critical thinking. If people like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. (College drop outs) were Nigerians, their knowledge would never have seen the light of the day because they have no piece of paper that says they are smart. Well after all is said and done, the same Ph.D holders will line up to become Dangote truck drivers which means that certificate is what it is but not a pointer to success. A Ph.D holder who lost his job to a supposed high school graduate should be ashamed forever. How low can it get? If Buhari can change Nigeria for good, so be it. |
/ Not all poor people are unlucky. There are people on whose door opportunity knocks all night and they will refuse to open the door. It is when I hear stories like this from the OP that I start having doubts. Perhaps, may be, who knows...all those mythical stories about village people could be true. Else how can anyone explain the irrational exuberance of the OP. / |
