The interviewer must have gone home....and at the dinner table told his wife, "Honey, I feel sorry for Nigerians, they are fvcked. Can you imagine the kind of president they have. Jeeeesus Christ!!! Unbe...fvcking..lievable!" (in a white dude's voice) This is how interviews supposed to be conducted. If it were to be a Nigerian interviewer, he will be talking about 2015 election instead of hard questions based on fact. Kudos to the interviewer / |
/ I wonder why they didn't post their phone numbers. These are the kind of hardworking people I will like to assist. I am highly impressed. \ |
\ WHAT DID THEY DO? And since we don't do this anymore, where are we today? Compare crime rate then and Crime rate now / |
/ People have power but do not know how to use it. The same people blame GEJ for being the C-i-C and not knowing how to exercise that power. The power of votes in a democracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GEJ should be voted out! And as you do...GET YOUR PVC ready to vote out GMB if he falls into the same trap of incompetency. Keep voting them out until we get someone who is patriotic and God-fearing enough to put our collective interest as a nation over their personal ambition. This is 2015. Enough is Enough. Forward ever, backward never. If GEJ wins, that means that people have shown that their existence in this world is in vain and should be taken for granted by their oppressors. Remember all those days of strikes, picketing, protests, etc. This is your chance to show your grievance. When they oppress, they show no emotions; when you vote, show no emotions. Be selfish in your desire for things to be better in your lives. The fear of voters should be the beginning of wisdom. It should not end with GEJ and GMB. Keep your governors on their feet as well. Your lives in 4 years should be worth more than a bag of rice. \ |
/ I think GEJ performed very well. The biggest issue is that his tactics lack finesse. His team forgot that we are in the era of social media where news and rumours are shared effectively. He chose a clueless team that carried on without regards to the power of the media. Before ...anyone can say and do.anythIng and follow it up with denial. But when most citizens are armed with camera phones, facebook, Twitter, whatsapp, etc., citizens became amateur paparazzi. PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO DEPEND ON THE STATE-CONTROLLED MEDIA HOUSES FOR INFORMATION LACED WITH PROPAGANDA. Things are no longer at ease. The center can no longer hold. Now he is paying the price. It won't be wrong to say that he is clueless. Throw in rumours of incessant inebriation, then you have a case of train wreck waiting to happen. Government in Nigeria will never be the same. |
/ $1= N263 It is not going to happen this year. Mark your calendar. I said it. \ |
/ You can always tell that emanated from Nigeria. Mental laziness in all spheres of life. 77 + 27 adds up to more than 100% The question is: Who is the I.d.I.o.t behind this poll? This is why people should deviate from associating with clueless and unrefined fellows. Stupidity could be infectious after all. UK based firm indeed! \ |
/ I have always had a very low opinion about the much-touted and hyped expertise of Okonjo Iweala. She was an affirmative action student used to fill the quota for Africa in Havard. What happened to all those phantom economic indices she was putting out to confuse and convince the ever-gullible masses that Nigeria is on the path to El Dorado? After listening to her public speeches, it could easily be deduced that she is only a level above Patience Jonathan in coherence and eloquence. / |
If your profile picture is anything to go by, I will say that you are the one enticing and encouraging the man. Not being judgmental, but that's the way you present yourself. Like they say, a picture is worth more than a thousand words. Change your ways. There you have it |
atlwireles:/ So Patience's campaign speech is your standard? SMH. I guess if the price is right, the bleating of a goat will be considered good campaign strategy. The only hope is that he who is on the ground fears no fall. Nigeria has hit the rock bottom and can only go up from here. OBJ fostered this nonsense on Nigerians out of spite. No amount of spinning can turn GEJ and the clown of a wife into leaders overnight. Can you listen to Patience talk for a minute? It is very depressing. \ |
Patience is a disgrace . I said it some months back that more than anything they should keep the microphone away from that fat re.tard |
Whosoever incurs the wrath of God shall be consumed by fire. Oritsejafor retrace your steps before it is too late for you have used the name of God in vain in pursuit of earthly possessions. You can deceive man. But you cannot deceive God. It may be just a warning. |
/ Where are the youth in the pictures? \ |
/ The primary purpose of BVN has nothing to do with curtailing/eradicating fraud. \ |
/ Patience is the best campaign manager for APC. Any Nigerian that is educated beyond Primary school should be scratching his/her head wondering how we got this low. A country of supposedly highly educated people and this is the leadership they get? \ |
/ The OP is very optimistic about Africa. Kudos! He/she needs to weigh her options well. It is someone that gets three meals a day that can complain of GMO. It is only when your tap water runs all day that you complain about fluoride. Church at every corner in a street is just a sign of increased hustling by religious conmen and has no ties to spirituality. The grass always looks greener from the other side. 10 reasons? I can give you 50 reasons not to go. There are reasons why people sleep over at embassies. There are more reasons people give thanksgiving in the church when they are granted visa to any other country. I won't dissuade the OP after all experience is the best teacher. Go for it but do not hesitate to report back to us on the progress you make along the way. I already know how this is going to end. / |
/ A load of B.S \ |
If GEJ wins, be ready for a very tough life ahead. A lot of money is being expended on the campaigns. Depleted accounts must be replenished. First thing to go will be fuel subsidy. As you vote, get your shoes and shirts ready because you will spend many days protesting fuel price hike post election. A lot of federal employees will be relieved of their jobs as part of the austerity measures lurking at the corner. I am already waiting for the strikes and wailing that will follow unpopular government policies after the elections because government will be running deficit. Salaries will be owed. It is only five months in arrears now because of the elections. Once the coast is clear after March 28th, my job will be taunt the hell out of all of you for selling your votes especially when the machinations start manifesting. I am ready. Oh boy...I can't wait. Nigerians think they are stubborn. Well, they will learn the hard way. 28th March, where art thou? Pikin wey dey chop beanballs dey chop im money. |
/ Give the family one lump sum as a condolence gift (N500k) from TEHN. They should understand that people tried to the best of their abilities from the magnanimity of their heart. Whatever they choose to do with it is their wahala. The balance should be retained in TEHN's account for future use. Keeping it very simple. No need of setting bad precedence. Most importantly, TEHN should avoid overstretching her reach. \ |
/ This is an insult and assault on common sense and engineering at large. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. \ |
That's what happens when you use stolen/looted money to train your children. They grow up with sense of entitlement. Take a look at Jim Nwobodo, Fani Kayode, Alamighesa, Omololu Olunyoyo families. |
/ We need more police!!! \ |
godsveryown:/ I don't know if this will help...But tell her that I said that Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Patience Jonathan, Tinubu, Buhari, Coscharis, Ifeanyi Uba, Alh. Kabiru and others did not graduate from any university. Yet providence smiled their ways. Some worked very hard and graduated with first class and second class upper. Yet they have no jobs or are underemployed. She may be crying that she has no shoes until she meets a quadriplegia. But If that's how she feels...oh well. Tell her to extend my warmest regards to my grandmother over there. \ |
/ It makes sense in a way. Usually when GEJ or Mama piss visits, all law enforcement formations are deployed to provide them security. The same way they shut down airspace when they travel by air and other flights will be delayed. Not that it couldn't have happened any other time. But the armed robbery timing was well planned and co-coordinated to coincide with the distraction of GEJ's presence in the city. |
/ That's how a traditional ruler should talk. Traditional rulers in the SE sold their voices even before the campaigns started. That's why no one takes them seriously. "He is our own" is not a valid reason to give support without negotiations especially when facts have shown that the SE received the least support from the FG in the last dispensation. Then on careful consideration, the question is: Who are the traditional rulers in the SE? A traditional ruler is anyone with enough money to build a few kilometer of roads, make some financial pledges and give some scholarship to 3-4 people in a community. It doesn't matter if he is an armed robber, 419 or a ritualist. If the traditional ruler is still alive, the state government will carve out an autonomous community for the charlatan. Everyone calls him "igwe!". The peak of insanity was when Arthur Ezeh used to fly traditional rulers from the SE to Abuja to pay obeisance to Abacha and to ask him to perpetuate himself in office in order to continue the good works he was doing. They were paid $15,000 each. SMH. When Abacha died, they couldn't find their voices for years. At the peak of the campaigns, GEJ is doling out dollars to those that matter. It becomes funny then to hear the SE crying about marginalization in the sharing of the largesse. They are traditional rulers and should have known that who laughs last, laughs best and a patient dog eats the fattest bone. That is the power of negotiation. The question is: Will they learn? Emotions and politics do not mix well. Ask the Israelites. / |
/ Are you ready? While you are cheering on the looters, this is a sign of things to come after the elections: \ Naira devaluation: Importers abandon cargoes at ports |
/ This lady go hear am. Na free meat for those randy NPF men till dem judge her matter finish as nobody go wan stand for her for kidnapping case. \ |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/2201669_buharikd18_jpeg69a6927f19bf8f583583f8a57c08cca3 Beautiful! Yes..she is beautiful. |
/ Doctors in.Nigeria work under terrible conditions financially and otherwise. Worst part of it all, some of the people.went into.medicine for prestige, money or dictates of their family. There is no.passion. I interviewed a couple of them that work in some hospitals in FCT and all I could do was shake my head. I walked a.few through the algorithms of ACLS and you could see the astonishing and overwhelmed looks in their faces. It was then that it finally dawned on me why politicians run to foreign countries for medical check. I don't want to go into the gory details of what I saw when I visited UNTH. |
Abo.ki with his transistor radio fit stand in line for 5 days to collect their PVCs. It is not as if they have better things to do. But Igbo man will start calculating opportunity cost while a Yoruba man will opt for the nearest owambe. That's why. And don't forget that one Alhaji fit born 30 children. After all no be say e go train them. But our Southern brothers dey consider the economy before dem have pikin. If you go North, people bokwu like ants. |
Bayelsa + Cross River + Ebonyi + Ekiti + FCT + Kwara + Ogun + Yobe = 5,927,804. While Kano + Katsina = 6,732,135. I can now see why some people are crying over the use of PVC. |
