stop painting Jonathan black. Jonathan is the man that can take Nigeria forward. buhari can never bring any change. he is just acting like a chameleon now to deceive the electorate. we know his true colour.
/
A better response would have been "Jonathan is the man that took Nigeria forward". But if he hasn't done that in 6years, what magic will he perform in the next four years? Nothing! Nigeria has been on autopilot for the last three years.

GEJ doesn't even want to be there. The profiteers are cheering him on because he is good for business. There is no better time to be a financial criminal in Nigeria than in the last six years of the resident AA president.

Politics › Re: NNPC Audit Report: Apologise To Jonathan, Group Urges Sanusi, Others by InvertedHammer: 5:57am On Feb 17, 2015
/
People are just plain st.upid.

Audit report is what it is. They audited the book and found unremitted entitlement to the government.

What audits report do not investigate is the scam going on in lifting of crude.

Garbage in, garbage out. The guys in NNPC are not children.

If 500k barrels were sold and the book was cooked to show 300k barrels. The auditors can only work with the 300k reflected in the book.

The other stolen 200k do not even exist as far as auditing is concerned. Auditing cannot verify how much is actually pumped per day.

People get very creative in trying to beat invigilators in exams. Multiply that by millions to get the level of creativity by the top guns to steal billions that are up for grab.

NNPC can never be cleaned.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Interview Question That Threw Me Off-balance by InvertedHammer: 2:15am On Feb 17, 2015
Jokay07:
i will go for 'efficient' . Why? Because being an effective staff makes someone's capacity and capability concentrated in a section or department. A staff might be effective in adminstrative work while he won't be effective in finance. An effective staff is not flexible in terms of transfer of work. But an efficient staff is capable of doing different works, he is not effective in the adminstrative work alone but efficient enough to handle both adminstrative and financial work. He is efficient enough to perform very well under any given work condition. This would be my reply if I am being asked in an interview. Just my opinion
/
I bet even you do not understand what you typed.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Interview Question That Threw Me Off-balance by InvertedHammer: 2:10am On Feb 17, 2015
chukux2:
Someone is effective when he can get results. While efficient is making good use of resources to get those results.

Example GEJ empties our treasury paying middle men and contractors to fight Boko Haram in the end he defeats them, that's being effective. Results gotten.

But GMB avoids unnecessary expenses and instead uses our existing equipment and soldiers (after sacking the corrupt and cowardly ones) plus better intelligence analysis to defeat Boko Haram that's efficient. Results also gotten.

An efficient staff is better.

.. But at times though you have to settle for being only effective
/
You are hired!

A very good comprehension of the subject matter.

You nailed it.

Celebrities › Re: Nigeria's Top 20 Richest Musicians And Their Net Worth by InvertedHammer: 6:43pm On Feb 16, 2015
Flawlessangel:
how do producers make more money than artiste? A producer only makes money when an artiste goes to work wit him.......an artiste makes money 4rm shows, album sales, endorsments, tours, concerts...etc.. U cant even compare......didnt u see when samclef was telling d world how wizkid dumped him and how frustrated his life in d industry has been?
/
Look.at the music industry as the relationship between a p1mp and his b#tches. Artists (including one hit wonders) come and go, but the producers thrive. Successful artists find ways to write and produce as well. Endorsements? Yes. But artists are paid for shows. Guess who gets the bulk of that money? Are you aware that some artists do not own their songs? Yep. That's the nature of the beast. What it means is that once the contract is up, such artist cannot go about singing his/her own songs in shows. Ask the American rapper Eve.

In.the case of samclef(never heard of him), some people call themselves producers just as every "mom and pop" store owner refers to him(her)self as an entrepreneur.

Take the number and divide by 10.

OP thinks there is a positive correlation between viewership and net worth.

The people making money are the producers. Only a few artists do scale through.

No Nigerian artist is worth N1 billion. It is
