seunmsg: Segalink is a liar and a con man. Everything about him is fraud. Today he’s a lawyer, tomorrow he’s an engineer, next tomorrow he’s sitting on the board of multi million naira oil companies with no name. In the tweet below, he brazenly claimed to be Tunji Braithwaite. He was so audacious about it that he even tagged Femi and Yeni Kuti. Only a hardened criminal can attempt to impersonate a public figure on Twitter. I spit on everybody that still supports that short fraudster. Even if everything you said is correct. How does it negate my point that activists don't work for free? You said he is a fraudster, did he defraud anyone you know that is, he collected money for a job he refused to do? With the bile you poured up there, it is obvious you have a personal vendetta against him which you have refused to reveal. |

Officialgarri: I've been a follower of Ojukwu on twitter and that guy is full of facts. I really liked the way he washed and exposed segalink.
I remember on a thread when a guy claimed that his car was being seized by EFCC and many people kept saying he should tag Segalink.. I laughed... Segalinks and his type won't do anything for you except there's a camera or money involved. Those segalink type of guys are consultants and only do business.
This same segalink was the busted liar that claimed he took picture with Fela. Impersonating another person.
This is how your heroes draft proposals and many would be thinking they are selfless activists... Nobody works for free, if they do, they will starve. Not activists, not freedom fighters and surely not NGO work for free. You know that but just want to go emotional to attack segalinks. |

Buhari is a looter no doubt about that. What is unclear is the extent of his looting. Whenever someone tells you that "Abacha never stole", they are just trying to avoid guilt by association. |

They did it to several Afghan contractors. They asked for the Dubai bank where the money was to return it but the bank refused. Equivalent assets of those banks in the US were then frozen leaving the bank with no choice but to return the money.
Of course, a court order would be issued before such action is taken. Where is your source? There is a difference between a contractor or a government. |

gabolak: I discovered that my account has been hacked into and the hacker has practically taken it over. The name, email address and the phone number I used to open the account has already been changed. Scammers hardly waste time hacking Facebook accounts. The owners willingly give them the access code to the email and phone number. Facebook will not hand over your account to someone else unless you give the person the required code. Contact Facebook with all evidence you have, email, history, phone numbers, and others to make a case. Enlist the help of your regular friends on FB too. Facebook may lock out the account to reverify the real owner. |

Poor policy. Many people need multiple sims due to poor network and business needs. What Nigeria needs is a centralized database and not the multiple registrations being conducted by banks, NIS, Telcos, Ministries, and others.
With such a central system, anyone not captured can be banned from owning a SIM until they are captured but should be able to own an unlimited number of SIMs tied to their identity. |

ajalawole: that's ur own cup of tea. at last he isn't into crime, I just imagine what he will be into after this...
a sensible govt would have know what to do before the ban
1. partner with private firms (GoOkada, Opay and so one)
2. those private partners will profile all it riders and send the data to the state govt (any bike not registered with GoOkada should not allowed to move
3. doing 1 and 2 above, will help the state govt to know the numbers of riders in Lagos and also know number of riders moving into Lagos. Your friend is not doing anyone any favor by not going into crime. The reality is that only a tiny percent of criminals are successful while the rest become statistics. If crime were that easy, you won't be able to leave your house due to a large number of criminals waiting to pounce. A sensible government upholds the law in its book, not partner with foreign collaborators to break the same law. Even if Okada were to be legalized, foreign companies shouldn't be allowed to run it neither should the government institute monopoly. Finally, some other states have banned Okada with no one screaming end times. People survived before Gokada and they will after it. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Must Repay Abacha Loot If It’s Stolen Again – US by ivolt: 1:24pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
einsteine: The US controls the dollar system. They will simply seize equivalent dollar assets in the event of mismanagement.
What this condition would do is that it would reduce the corruption from outright stealing of the entire fund to over-invoicing No. They can't. Only the president can authorize such seizures and it is likely illegal under US law. How other countries run their finances is none of America's business. They are free to reject such money but they can't dictate how it is spent. And before you harp on about corruption. US government contracts from defense to construction are also inflated and over-invoiced due to corruption. That is one of the basis of the libertarian argument. Some call it wastage but the extra money still ends up in someone's pocket. |

ajalawole: this not fair... if the ban is for security reason, the i think lag govt should partner GoOkada, GoOkada in turn will profile all it riders and send the data to Lagos state govt, doing that the govt may have the data of those who move into Lagos as riders. my graduate friend is a keke rider, imagine a graduate. U people should fear God What's so special in being a graduate? |
