@Maclatunji
Be blessed brother. Be blessed.
Just as all that stood by her in one way or the other are being blessed.
She wished much to live, her strong spirit wanted to stay alive.
The pain must have overpowered and knocked her out and God mercifully took away the pains.
I wish that she stayed to get through it all. Guess her spirit has left that body that was giving her much pain behind.
Oh God. We still give you the glory.

Accept my condolences ID, you are a wonderful friend to have in times of need.

I know you feel this loss very much but take it as God's will which can't be questioned or altered. I cried last night when I remembered her last words to me. I will always treasure them.

Grieve over her because it is only natural but don't be despondent or dejected- she wouldn't have liked that, remember her happy words even when she seemed hopeless; her strength and courage in the face of daunting adversity, her being so trustful and faithful to her friends are the greatest legacies I will hold on to with her.

Shed a fear tears but weep not my friends.

I'm trying to picture you laid still somewhere  and was just about to take consolation in the fact that you have no more pain yet I can't grasp that consolation because you had a strong spirit that wished much to continue living life. I'm not happy that you lost that fight sweetheart.
The pain must have overpowered you and God mercifully gave you rest from it all yet I wish that you stayed to win and keep singing sweet songs.
Hugs to you wherever you are now Baby. Ndo -o-o-o

The tears are falling but they can't bring you back, I don't understand all this being birthed to joy, struggling through living and dying again.
Poor darling, may the angels receive you to the sounds of great sounding music that you were taking solace in. Rest and sing.

Don't worry dear, be comforted that she died knowing people like you care and we did as much as we can to get her treated.

Her ending was much better than the mindset she showed on the suicide thread. Her last sets of posts are evident that she was better than when she 1st came here.

Very sad that the Beautiful and brave lady died, despite all. But as usual, in all situations, i choose the see the brigther side, that Perx died STRONG and HOPEFUL, a far cry from her state of mind just a few months ago. I smile because I know she would be smiling down at the faceless (atleast most of us are/were) community that gave her hope and a reason to live on at her lowest points.

May i ask if the coma was post operation? it is essential to know, as there might be lessons to be learnt.
She was being strong and wanted so much to live. Oh my God, Oh my God----

FamilyRe: Nairaladers, Pls Do Help Me Out. I Am Having A Very Big Family Problem. by Ivynwa(f): 4:04am On Feb 29, 2012
What kind of humans threaten the lives of their daughter-in-law and their son's family out of their greed for money and wickedness?
They are very jealous of your wife's presence in your life, they want to eat it all and can't bear to see another person (as they consider your wife)
benefit from it. It will be nice to make one go at peace and make them discard their notion that your wife is an outsider (as that seems to be the root of their jealousy) just to give peace a chance in your family but if they continue to be resentful, please it is important that you stay alive.

Get your wife and kids far away from them AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
Be careful while you are working at getting back the property, it's a bit hard to fight out that property from afar or I will advise that you run too.

Hurry up with the legal/DIG arrangement and distance yourself from that environment fast if you can get a good hand to help sell it for you while you are away. Your life and the lives of your family are being threatened right now and this people are very angry and can do anything with the way they are getting on and grabbing it all.

Nwa furu umunne ya n'anya. The man that loves his people.
Somebody quoted(was that Wole Soyinka?) that "The man died in him who keep silent in the face of tyranny".

Ikemba did not keep silent in the face of tyranny, Ikemba arose and spoke against tyranny, fought tyranny and defended his own.
The man in Ikemba lives on, he is not dead. He lives in the heart of those who detest tyranny and speak against it. He lives in our heart.
I refuse to say "Rest in peace" because you are still alive.
Live! The brave one.
Live! Ikemba. (Ezigbo nna m ochie!)

Continue to live in the hearts of your people!

On that note and for the dignity of man that Ikemba fought for can those who are killing our fellow Nigerians with Bombs stop maiming, killing and breaking the hearts of the Nigerian people. Let peace dwell among us, Amen! Alleluiah!

FamilyRe: In Nigeria, Is It A Taboo To Marry Your Sister-in-law? by Ivynwa(f): 2:59am On Feb 25, 2012
Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaa
Looks like somebody was eyeing his brother's wife's sister all along now he has told us about it. tongue tongue grin

I don't think that it is an abomination, I have heard of families that return to their wife's family to marry another person from there because of the good behaviour of such families. A cousin of mine lost her husband and her husband's family cherishes her so much that her husband's brother married her. It wasn't a case of marrying her to inherit their brother's wealth, they are happily married now and had a baby recently. It used to be told as things that happened in the past but it happened to a cousin of mine not up to five years ago.
FamilyRe: Man Encouraged Wife To Sleep With Men For Kids, Now Wants The Children Returned by Ivynwa(f): 2:38am On Feb 25, 2012
The sooner we begin to live for ourselves and not for others the healthier life will be for everybody.
Some of us in Nigeria live in fear of what people will say over one problem or the other and sometimes ruin their lives by so doing. Another man in this kind of position killed himself after he married the first wife and on not making children with her, chased her away and went for another woman who also could not make a child for him too. When he could not bear the shame of "what people will say" he killed himself.

It's good to hear the children involved in this pulling themselves together, encouraging themselves and trying to be strong. I hope they don't also allow the fear of  "what people will say" over them to cast a dark shadow over their lives.

As for the man, he needs to seek restitution over the c-o-pulation between his parents that brought him to life. He needs to find a way back into his mother's belly to be an ovum/egg again and return his father's sp-er-m to him too so that everybody will sing hosanna on the way to heaven. Huh  huh

Why did the woman stay to be dragged to court by him, had she quietly left the whole bachannal with her children she wouldn't have been there to answer query in court. If he doesn't want the children again, she should leave him with her children----simple or will he force himself on her to stay married so that he doesn't miss heaven?  grin
All these people that go to some churches and allow others to watch their head and manipulate their thinking in the name of religion only to bring chaos and disorder into their families at the end of the day. The thing tire me o-o-o. I even pity the man too, he must be feeling terrible right now too with all that confusion in his head.

International Appeal = Zero
Glad you know what I am talking about but Nnaa abeg helep me modify the "atrociously s-t-u-p-id" into "Not very fantastic" or something.
My Baby boys P-square did work hard on that song you know, just not the type of song to go show the world like we both think.

Sensational stuff. I can see Akon had real fun with it; didn't seem like he 'deigned' to feature in it - unlike Snoop Dogg's lukewarm body language in D'Banj's Mr Endowed remix. Very nice overall. . .but I still think Mr. May D killed it! I just love his verse, and 'swag' in the video.
Boy nobody likes that his part like I do. Is Mr MayD a Nigerian musician? (sorry, I'm so loving soca music that i don't keep up well with our naija musicians and their songs) Something tells me that I am going to love his songs, will search for his works tommorrow to check them out.
