DriveByKiller:
joe what do you say about Buhari who is neck deep in romance with Boko Haram and marauding herds men and Tinubu has never criticized for once.

I will tell you one thing now: your very future and those of your kids and that of Nigeria hangs on this year's election producing Peter Obi.

Why?

Because for once if Obi wins from nowhere, it's power to the people. Our democracy would have taken a big stride in independence, transparency and accountability.

It would forever change the landscape of democracy, human rights, oppression and good governance because power will ultimately lie on the people and the ballot box will be the tool every politician will fear the most.

Atiku or Tinubu will only symbolize the continuation of the status quo; selection of candidates by a few political elite, chosen ones and systemic rigging against the everyday Nigerians.

You really need to know that this election is different from all other before it because Nigeria's democracy is at the crossroads.

If Atiku or Tinubu wins the usual way as par rigging, all our voices and agitation would have been for nothing and the people would have lost all zeal to vehemently campaign to vote for reforms.

You really need to see this from a national survivability angle.

And trust me, Peter Obi would deal with IPOB more than Buhari can ever do.
If there's one thing I can predict about Obi now is that he will be a pacifier when he becomes president

Lagos, and we know the only reason it happens is that Lagos is a cosmopolitan state where Nigerians from other SW states, SS, SE and the North are represented. In fact the Tinubu that's their most famous governor isn't even an ethnic Lagosian, goes to tell you the way the state's been structured.
The reason it happens that way is because the average Yoruba man does not really care...It is just now that tribalism has gone round.

These guys don't care about religion or tribe.

My classmate in secondary school was a muslim, his younger sister was a Christian. His father was a muslim, and his mother was a Christian.

Imagine how liberal they are, even to children.

I think Lagos case has more to do with how the yorubas are, rather than because it is cosmopolitan

Which zone will Ebira fall under?

North is less tribalistic by giving jobs to outsiders. I have answered you already. My argument ends here.
You are very wrong, my brother.

You started your statement with HOSPITALITY, and you are very well correct.

But you see TRIBALISM, they are not lesser than any other tribe.

Izzou asked in what way and I answer him by sighing jobs. I have already answer you. You can believe or not that's fine.
You are not giving us any factual data.

There are 19 states up North. How many states did you research on, to come to this conclusion?

Just use marriage as an example. How many Hausa and any Southern tribe can you say you have heard?

How many?

I said yes. This is it.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2019/07/03/el-rufai-appoints-yoruba-architect-as-commissioner/%3Famp%3D1&ved=2ahUKEwjVmvWw28H8AhWRYqQEHerdAXEQFnoECAgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3BZkn9sjcWHLMpIN3Nbpdw
You are showing me one person.

And i can show you more than one from Lagos.

So, how is the North "less tribalistic"?

Or has the meaning of "less" changed?

They are not less tribalistic in any way. A typical Hausa man will not even pray behind a Yoruba Imam leading Solat; at least u won't say u don't know there are Yoruba Mosques and Hausa mosques due to that reason.

As regards giving outsiders work, which work are we referring to here ? Are u saying Hausa's who are at the top of ministries and government parastatals are not recruiting massively their kit and kin into the system ? It's only Lagos state that can really be described as giving jobs to outsiders like you are alluding to Hausa states.
In the North, you cannot even toast their women sef. They will not even answer you.

If no be their tribe, they will not even look at you.

Less tribalistic my foot

I agree they are hospitable. But they will put their tribe and religion first, before any other person

Okay.

We may not have enough data, but let us work with what we can find.

In politics, we have seen Southerners, especially the SW give positions to people of other tribes, including the North

Can you find Northern states where positions were given to Southerners?

Let me just say this here. Based on my experiences so far. The Hausas are the most hospitable tribe in Nigeria. To me, they are less tribalistic.

There's no tribe like Hausa- Fulani. Hausa is a tribe and Fulani is also a tribe. Both tribes have fought war against each other in the past sef.
What do you mean by "less tribalistic"?

Do you mind sharing examples?

Kay, I saw that post by Joe. I saw when he called Hero a shitty beer and I have since changed brand a long time when the standard dropped over when adultrated samples lined the pubs.

My stand however is on the commenter who said that for everyone bottle of Heineken bought is equal to 2 bottles of Hero. When the unit price is just a hundred Naira difference.

Hero 400
Heineken 500

Where I hang out, it's 600/500 . And 800/700.

The commenter also said Hero wasn't found in Lagos and I had it there in 2015.

I want to advise you to be cautious with your words on an open forum like this especially against PEP's(Politically Exposed Persons). The reason why I'm saying this is because you are a young man who dreams to build a promising career following the advises you got from here.

I mean one day you could be in the final stage of an interview and u will be asked to meet the chairman who may turn out to be Peter Obi or any of these politicians you dislike and use foul language against online(Peter Obi used to be the chairman of Fidelity Bank. Don't let anybody fool you that it's not possible for an interviewee to meet chairman at the final stage of interview; someone like Aig-Imokuode makes it a ritual to always assess any candidate that will be employed in any company he chairs). Like someone once said here, nobody is really anonymous like that. You can express you dislike for a candidate, but calling someone like Peter Obi "dunce" when u are yet to break through into any industry may do you more harm than good in the nearest possible future. You would not expect a dunce chairman to employ you in the company he owns
You be serious case, walahi
