What exactly is your grouse sir?

Are you complaining about the incumbent Government in Lagos State or you are complaining about MC Oluomo as a person?

MC Oluomo is not the Governor of Lagos, he is not a Government official and neither does he holds any post in the party.

The NURTW have State Branches in ALL States of the Federation.
What is wrong you and MC Oluomo bros?... You should know my grouse isn't with him personally but what he stands for. The message he sends across by virtue of his position. The glorification of thuggery in Lagos state is what I'm against. I don't want to argue further. Nuff said

What exactly is your grouse?

Is it the methods by which NURTW generate income as a corporate body or how MC Oluomo generate his personal income?

How is MC Oluomo the same thing as Lagos? How can Lagos being a model State or not be attributed to the presence or MC Oluomo in Lagos?

The Chairman of NURTW is just like any other leading trade unionist e.g Chairman of NUT, NMA,NUJ or NBA.

The major difference is that most of the NURTW members are stubborn kids in the youthdays who dropped out from school and later took to driving/touting which don't require serious mental requirements or academic qualifications to do.

The introduction of BRT, Light Trains and Standard Guarge Railways services to the Transport sector in Lagos will modernize the system as well as the players over a period of years.

The upcoming generation of Transport workers in Lagos will not be brute, crude and school drop out guys but educated, exposed and enlightened people.

The NURTW is only a coperate body by definition alone. And let's not act like the BRT system is properly managed either. I'm glad you mentioned enlightenment, as the other criterias barely mean Jack because of how corrupt the system is. I don't subscribe to the view that the present Govt has the vision to make Lagos what it aught to be. They're far too carried away with their interests. It's far too aligned with the underworld to even hide it

Bros, calm down.
MC Oluomo has a right to exist.

He is a private citizen just like you and the chairman of a union. He is NOT holding any Government/Party position.
Bros i never said he shouldn't exist, I'm not God. But he is a thug, a leader of a union that operates like a mob and sources income mostly through racketeering. A sane society would have him hiding in the shadows and not acting like he's some elder statesman or something other than the thug he is. Let's not pretend that Lagos is some model state. It's just the best of the worst

You can EndSARS but please EndYahoo too...I’m no fan of both.

SARS should hsve nothing to do with yahoo madam, that's EFCC's job. Saying people should stop crime to end brutality isn't a sound stance to take. There would always be crime, but there is a civilized way to tackle it without endangering the lives of other people. That's something our security agents still struggle to grasp. They're too brutish

Mine was in exam hall. Final year 2nd semester exams. We were writing MTH425. After reading for so long, my head just went blank. I couldn't assimilate anything anymore. My friend who I had taken as a brother studied with me. I got into the exam hall as saw the questions. You know how exam questions can be na, 1 question will have so many children under it. Out of four we are to answer, I knew just 1 and even that 1 I couldn't answer it completely. if I failed that course, it would earn me an extra year in school. I was confused and spent. Most of the questions came from our handouts but to solve one question can take a full page of A4 paper on both sides. My brain just couldn't take it anymore. My friend was sitting behind me and was already on his third question. You know how we communicate in the hall na. I asked him to help me with one question so I can answer two in total. He assured me that he would help me with the answers to one question. My hopes were high. Only for my guy to stand up to go and submit and left the hall. Went out and started laughing. If he was laughing at me I can't remember. I was shocked!!! If he didn't want to help me, he should have told me then I know what to do. He left me hanging. Till today I can't understand why he did that. The thought of spending another year in school because of 1 course really broke my heart. when I saw there was nothing else I could do, I went to submit my almost blank answer booklet. Long story short, I got a D grade in that course. That was far better than repeating another year. My ex-friend got a D grade to upon everything.
No lie bros... You go give lecturer small thing. No worry, i no go loud am wink

Why is it that of all the problems ravaging this nation, ending Sars is the people's biggest priority.

Truly, there's a hidden agenda by the youths to sabotage government from Nigerian leaders.

I can't imagine any of this youth becoming my president anytime soon. I suggest it's high time we in the Northern hemisphere take a countermeasure. We need to protest against this protest.

In America, it was kiddos that were busy developing their country. Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gate, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Paul Allen, Larry Page and Jeff Bezos all created a city called Silicon Valley while still in college. Today, the city host the biggest tech companies in the world. What have our youths here done to warrant them the privilege to protest? Tell them to venture into lucrative ventures like agriculture and they'll call you a cave man.

It is high time the military comes in.
You speak for yourself and not the North. You don't have a brain

Modes of operation of security agents in every country are different and based on profiling even in America. Even Black cops are more likely to be more careful while arresting a black thug.

Policing in Mexico is different from policing in Sweden or Switzerland. In Mexico, when you are covered with tattoos, their police literally strips you down to even your underwear to ensure that you are not peddling drugs. The Mexican police understands through experience what the drug cartels are capable of and how they appear. Someone in Australia or Europe would consider that an abuse of human rights.

The Nigerian police force uses the method that best suits Nigeria. If a foreigner from Western Europe arrives Nigeria , the individual would be surprise that Ak-47 rifles are used even in the absence of combat because police in their countries make use of pistols. Governors in such countries most times move with less than 5 security details.

Are the Nigerian police force wrong to use Ak-47s in broad daylight? Absolutely no. Even terrorist attacks in the UK are perpetuated with knives which shows the effective control of even civilian grade guns in that country. The Nigerian system demands that Law enforcement officials are always ready for combat at least with semi automatic rifles because an average Nigerian armed criminal moves with a superior weapon and there would not be enough time for reinforcement due to the state of bad roads , air response and other factors.

I hope it is innocent Nigerians that stole Ak47s after killing men of the force who represent the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The forerunners of this controversy have sinister motives.

They can run their fraudulent schemes without resistance, engage in their cultism parades in broad daylight , rebuild the local drug trade routes and strengthen the southern fire arms proliferation industry.

If the police force is reformed those celebrities who protested yesterday who are okay with the many policemen at their gates beating fans to pulp when they trespass would not have any police men attached to them because it is not so in the countries they visit. So they don't want to talk about reformation, they just want to stop a part of a larger whole because of their friends.
You're a dunce :/

Facts.. Arsenal would have been title contenders for sure..

But lets keep our fingers crossed.. Williams can play in the middle so can ceballos..

The team is solid and has good backups..

Gabriel has been solid..
This can been seen in the lesser goals conceded and has made Leno look extra good.
Tierney has been good..
Partey is a great midfielder.. Better in the box than all arsenals present midfielders..

So going forward arsenal looks really good and with all big teams dropping points already.. Anything can happen.

Yeah, Gabriel has been pretty solid... Still can't say how comfortable Willian would be in a midfield. Heard he seldom played there at Chelsea

Lyon had agreed to sell Aour
An agreement had been reached already, just before the window shut.

His brother who is his agent demanded 30 million agents fee.. Then arsenal called it off..

Its all over Twitter from reputable journalists
Hmm really?...Fu*k Lyon then. Damn! Had we gotten both, no top EPL team would fancy getting 3points against us. Not when we currently play with a game plan
Sports / Re: Why Thomas Partey's Move From Atletico Madrid To Arsenal Got Messy by JastSiryin(m): 9:47am On Oct 07, 2020
Honestly, they deserved what they got for their refusal to negotiate. They sure love to use release clauses.

And there's another thing most peeps don't know. We would've probably been able to get two midfielders if they'd agreed a swap deal involving Lucas Torreira that would've saved us some money. But they wanted to play us by using Lucas's preference for Spain against us.

Remember that atleast 2 Italian clubs were interested in paying for Lucas, but all that changed the moment Atletico came knocking, and Lucas only wanted them.

Kudos to Arsenal for making them think we couldn't pay Partey's release clause cuz we were broke. They knew we needed to get players out so they forced us to accept a loan with an option to buy and could've sworn that Partey would be staying too.

But my wonderful Edu wasn't gonna be played. The Atletico board can eat shit and die for all i caregrin They got money didn't they?

I only wish Arsenal had been quick enough to accept those Italian offers even though they didn't meet their valuation. But hey, we're a good club that respects Player's wishes.

We'll get Aourar some other time, maybe someone better sef smiley

I'm not a fan of either of them even though i respect them both. With that said, if i were to pick who the most well rounded individual was, I'd say Davido. Maybe the little nairaland fame has gotten into his head, making him lose focus.
I don't think i ever paid him that much attention to be honest. He pretty much fit the "prophet of doom" description within his first few posts. Maybe he has always been after the fame.

You do realize that to an outsider all you're spouting are your beliefs right? No matter how true you think it is, many people wouldn't see it as such and for good reason.

The fact that you don't care if you sound obnoxious or inappropriate is cause for concern. Because you're more or less driving a wedge between you and those you're preaching to.

Maybe I'm wrong, and you're nothing more than an attention seeker, because you do tick all the boxes. Nowadays people give less thought to preaching the gospel effectively and appropriately.

They instead take joy is pissing people off, in the delusion that they are fulfilling God's commandment by so doing.

If you truly believed something really profoundly, you wouldn't go out of your way in search of unbelievers guilt to reinforce your beliefs. Pls learn to apply common sense. It isn't alien from Christianity. Your religious input was clearly not needed here
