Some 25 years ago someone bought a radio cassette player at the general market and proudly brought it home, his daughter told me about her dad buying Panasonic radio cassette player. I expressed my doubts since it was bought in the market...
When I saw it finally, it was labelled PANASOANIC!!
I almost fainted from laughter!
Again, during the early days of GSM, when the video/camera editions were new, a friend proudly went to buy one, it wasn't until TWO full days later we noticed it's labelled SONY ERICSSOM not Ericsson!

I’ll just make it brief, I was in my early 20’s, my friends talked me into the journey but I didn’t know they were not travelling with us until the day we left Nigeria.

I didn’t have much information about the journey but because they told me it’s easy and fun I left Nigeria with them.

We were first held by rebels in the desert for 28 days, mind you I left Nigeria Feb 3rd 2009 and I got to Libya in March.

The owner of the uncomplicated building we were living brought the police to arrest us 4 days after I got to the house, some guys were arrested but i and some other guys escaped, we ran into the cemetery and slept there till 6AM.

I found a Nigerian who offered to allow me stay in his house, few days later I told him that I got a connection to cross to Italy and I will be living the following day.

The following morning this guy left the house and locked everyone inside, he returned in the evening with 3 guys, a Ghanian and 2 Nigerians. The moment he entered the house he pointed at me saying this is the boy before I knew what was happening they stated beating me asking me to follow them. I resisted and fought back, the landlord heard the noice, he came knocking so the guys quickly ran away.

The following morning this guy asked me to pay him $300 before he will allow me leave, I said you should have said that instead of bringing people to beat me up. Then I gave him the money and left his house to the camp from where we were to be taken to the sea side.

The same night we were taken to the sea side, when we got there we were ask to sit on the floor and not make noice, about 3 minutes later a small balloon boat came and was taking us 30/30 to the big boat, I was on the 3rd batch, few minutes after I entered the big boat, we saw boats coming towards our direction behold they were coast patrol.

The person that was to sail our boat told everyone that we will all die instead of him to allow the police arrest him then he zoomed off, the police chased our boat till they caught us when we were almost out of Libya territory.

We were arrested and taken to prison on Sunday and we broke the prison on Tuesday and escaped. We were chased all night……. Na long story bro I hope I get to document all that happened on that trip one day. I lost my left eye as a result of the beating I got from the guys that were invited to beat me.

Common sense is for the mother who lives a street or so away to return back to where she came from, for the god mother who is from another state entirely to move on Wednesday.

Lessons:
Never get emotionally attached to ladies you're trying to elevate.
Define what you want and are doing with a lady if you leave it on basis of assumption she's going to nail you with it someday... It will be nasty.
90% of the time a lady is giving you the greenlight, it's going to end badly.
Remember this: a scorned lady hath fury worse than hell.

Like I know shits I have endured , covered , forgiven this lady , not to talk of once my lecturer visited our lodge(room) on going outside to get something in few minutes before I got back , they were already on it. She denied but later agreed cause I almost caught them red handed. As a person, I natuarally love kids because i can let down my gaurd and not be on the alert for scheming adults. As a father I make extra effort to be involved in the daily lives of my children. I take them out to eat, take them for shopping clothes toys and shoes and stay home after work to play with them

Why? A very wealthy man on his deathbed once said that his deepest regret was that he spent all the time away from his children working and providing the very best for them with their mum as a fulltime housewife.

That his kids are all grown and have minimal relationships with him and find it hard to come to him directly for anything at all. That he feels like a stranger in his own house because he missed many of their important moments as a family.

I understood then that Children value your presence more than you presents.

There's nothing better than sharing that special time they're growing up... Every opportunity counts!
Wash, clean, show them photos of themselves as babies, play, pray, laugh, cry and tell them about themselves as kids... That's pure heaven!!
